Nicole Scherzinger is dreaming of an LA Christmas

Nicole Scherzinger is having her first Christmas in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old singer – who is dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov – is very excited to be flying her family in to California to spend the festive season in her new house as it so rare for her to play host to other people.
She said: "I’ve just moved into my new house in LA, so I’m gonna fly my family to be with me. I don’t think I’ve ever had Christmas in LA. I always go to Hawaii or Tennessee where my sister lives.
"My nieces are my everything so I’ve built a bunk bedroom for them too. I live alone and I’m quite private. I don’t really have people over anyway, so it’s nice to take the opportunity at this time of year to have family over."
In 2014, Nicole starred in ‘Cats’ in London’s West End and flew her mother out to the UK to spend Christmas with her and they had the "best" time.
She said: "We cook the same things for Thanksgiving and Christmas, turkey and ham and all the fixings, as we say.
"Broccoli and cheese casserole, sweet potato casserole, lots of gravy.
"When I was in ‘Cats’, I stayed at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s flat and I had all my family out so we had Christmas there.
"And it was this little kitchen and your grocery stores are so different, and I said to my mum, ‘We are going to make it work.’ And we had the best little Christmas."
The former Pussycat Dolls star – who previously dated Lewis Hamilton – recently admitted she has "missed out" on some things in her personal life because of her dedication to her career.
She said: "Anybody who is successful in what they do is making sacrifices. It’s juggling and finding the balance. I’ve absolutely missed out on things in life. It is hard, I’m not going to lie. It can be lonely. I’m always on the road, I’m always by myself. I think anybody in this industry feels lonely."
