Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt have signed up for a second series of ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’.
The 45-year-old star – who was married to Liam Gallagher between 2008 and 2014 – and Melanie, 45, have agreed a deal that will see them return to the sofa for the hit Channel 4 show.
A source explained: "Nicole and Melanie were hilarious when they gave the show a whirl and bosses were desperate to get them back."
The celebrity duo – who rose to fame as part of All Saints – have a great on-screen "chemistry", and Channel 4 bosses are thrilled that they’re returning to the show.
The insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "The success of ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ depends on the chemistry between the stars and how much they enjoy being a part of the show – and Nicole and Melanie just ticked all the boxes.
"Both of them jumped at the chance to return to the show."
Meanwhile, Scarlett Moffatt recently claimed ‘Gogglebox’ bosses made her look "thick as s**t".
The TV star argued that the editing of the show created an unfair impression of her.
She said: "It was actually very difficult. We used to have to watch ‘Downton Abbey’, but ten minutes of it.
"Can you imagine? I’ve never watched ‘Downton Abbey’ for a full episode and they show us ten minutes of a man bleeding from the mouth and then I’m like, ‘What’s going on? What’s happening? Who’s this?’
"It looks like I’m thick as s**t but really it’s because I genuinely don’t have a clue what’s going on. It’s like, ‘Seriously, who is this?’ Because we’ve never watched it before."
