Rebel Wilson: Hollywood attracts crazy people

Rebel Wilson thinks Hollywood "draws in crazy people".
The 'Bridesmaid' star moved to the Los Angeles neighbourhood in 2010 in a bid to make it as an actress but thinks it is full of those who are "insane".
She said: "They're all insane here. It draws in all the crazy people.
"Some are creative. Some are just f***ed up."
And Rebel also blames her status as the comedy queen of Hollywood for the reason why she hasn't found love just yet.
She told the Guardian newspaper: "Girls are attracted to funny guys all the time, but in my experience it doesn't seem to work the other way round.
"They find it intimidating. It's something to do with that power thing. But at least I'm not bland."
Last month, Rebel argued Victoria's Secret models are not the "best" role models for young people.
The 'Pitch Perfect' star encouraged women to be inspired by people based on their personalities and not by their figures.
She said: "I think sometimes girls look at Victoria's Secret models and think that they have to model themselves after that, but I really don't think that's the best, even though they are called 'models,' they're not the best people to model yourself after.
"I like to encourage girls to think, which is why I put that on my butt. It's really about what's up here [points to head], and not what's here [points to backside]."

Emma Stone appreciates success

Emma Stone doesn't take her success for granted.
The 'Birdman' actress, who was nominated for an Oscar this year, still appreciates all the opportunities that come her way because she remembers what rejection feels like.
She said: "I still remember crying on my couch a few years ago when I didn't get some roles I wanted. That makes this time in my life that much more meaningful."
The 26-year-old actress recently wrapped up her stint on Broadway in 'Cabaret' and is gearing up for the release of her next film, 'Aloha,' in late May, but insists she hasn't become a workaholic.
She said: "I enjoy my time off and make sure that I don't lose sight of my friends and family. Sometimes it's hard to go out in public as much as I'd like, with photographers following me to my favourite café. I still don't understand why it's so interesting to take photos of me drinking coffee!"
Despite being uncomfortable with some aspects of fame, Emma admits acting has helped her anxiety.
She told OK! magazine: "I'm much more secure now, but I still deal with anxiety. Acting is a way of overcoming it, because it allows me to make use of my overly sensitive side and channel all that nervous energy, which would otherwise be an obstacle. My work is such an important outlet - I can't imagine my life without it."

Carey Mulligan always wanted co-star Leonardo DiCaprio

Carey Mulligan made a promise to herself as a teenager that "one day" she'd get to work with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 29-year-old actress starred alongside the 40-year-old actor in 'The Great Gatsby' in 2013 and has admitted she had always dreamed of working with the hunky star and found him incredibly professional and helpful.
Asked if he was one of her girlhood crushes, she explained: "In that I promised myself one day I would work with him. He wants everyone to be as good as they can be. Even in the first audition, we were doing a scene where Daisy freaks out and drops a lighter. During that he started improvising as Gatsby, off camera, just to help me. That's the kind of guy he is."
The 'Far from the Madding Crowd' star - who is married to Marcus Mumford - went on to confess she thought she'd blown her audition for Baz Luhrman's film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name when the director failed to get back to her for over two weeks.
Speaking about the moment she learned she'd got the part, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I wish I could say I was cool about it. It was about three weeks after the last audition and I'd given up hope when Baz rang and gave me the good news. I thanked him for about 10 minutes. I wouldn't let him talk, so many tears!"

Kit Harington wants freedom

Kit Harington wants the freedom to do what he wants after finishing 'Game of Thrones'.
The 28-year-old actor - who plays Jon Snow in the HBO fantasy drama - admits work on the show has been all-consuming and he is looking forward to taking on more movie roles when it comes to an end.
He said: "Thrones has been my life these past few years. Hopefully after it finishes I'll have the freedom to do as much as I'd like.
"My [initial] remit for myself was just to do everything, but now I don't want to do anything that isn't testing me."
However, the 'Spooks' star is still unsure how he will cope when 'GoT' finally comes to an end.
He joked to Empire magazine: "The comedown is going to be immense. I'll probably have to go into therapy."
Kit is known for his long dark locks and admits the requirement he keeps his hair that way for 'Game of Thrones' makes it tough to find work even when the show isn't filming.
He explained: "You can get your haircut at the beginning of the year and it's gonna grow back. But it's tricky to do a project nearer the time of 'Thrones'."
There is talk of him trying his hand at comedy, and he is to play an "unbelievably thick" tennis player in an upcoming HBO mockumentary.
He said: "I've dipped my toes into lots of things."

Scarlett Johansson thought she could ‘take down’ Chris Hemsworth

Scarlett Johansson thought she could "take down" Chris Hemsworth.
The 30-year-old actress has developed "an inflated idea" of her own strength since playing Black Widow in the 'Avengers' franchise, and tried punching her co-star - who plays Captain America - in the arm, to try and knock him over while they were on set together.
Scarlett said: "I have an inflated idea of my own strength now (since playing Black Widow). I remember standing beside Chris Hemsworth and punching his arm and beating his stomach and I almost felt like I could take down someone of his size. I feel I could take on anyone in the street and that is ultimately going to get me into trouble!"
Scarlett also admitted that it's not just her lack of physical strength that differs from her 'Avengers' alter-ego, but also her mental strength, describing herself as "hyper sensitive".
Speaking to Britain's OK! magazine, Scarlett said: "I'm hyper sensitive. She has to remain distant and grey in some way. I'm not that way, I don't think.
"I'm not a tomboy but I'm not a princess. I don't really think of how I am, or how I come across, to be honest. I'm just Scarlett, and everyone is who they are."

Carey Mulligan’s dream career

Carey Mulligan is living an "incredible dream".
The 'Far From the Madding Crowd' actress can't believe her career has gone so well, she has shared stage and screen time with the likes of Bill Nighy and Dame Judi Dench because she never had any "grand aspirations" for the future.
She said: "I'm still exhilarated by the experience of acting with immensely talented people, many of whom I've grown up admiring.
"I started out simply wanting to earn my living acting, and now I feel like I'm living this incredible dream. I never expected this and I never had any grand aspirations beyond finding the net job, so all of this has been an extraordinary journey for me."
And the 29-year-old actress admits it is "bizarre" to work with actors she has admired from her youth, such as her 'Wolf of Wall Street' co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
She told Psychologies magazine: "To get to work with Baz Luhrmann and the Coen brothers in the same year was amazing.
"I have 'pinch me' moments constantly.
"At a certain point, you have to acknowledge how bizarre it is to be in a film with Leonardo DiCaprio, who's the actor you grew up watching in movies.
"I saw him in 'Romeo + Juliet' when I was 15 and thought it was the best movie I'd ever seen, so acting with him was surreal. It was a heightened experience being in that place."

Chris Pratt had Jurassic fears

Chris Pratt worried about "f***ing up" the new 'Jurassic Park' movie.
The 35-year-old actor was a huge fan of the original 1993 film, even watching it twice during its opening weekend, so admits he was initially wary of accepting a role in the franchise reboot, 'Jurassic World'.
He said: "I jumped with hesitation [because] I wouldn't want to be on a team that f***ed it up... We didn't screw it up."
Chris - who has two-year-old son Jack with wife Anna Faris - also has another remake in the pipeline, 'Magnificent Seven', and thinks it is natural these days for studios to revisit old movies or base films on things that are already well known.
He told Britain's Glamour magazine: "In this day and age, you need a title to reach out to an audience.
"Executives and studios want to cover their butts if it doesn't work and be able to say, 'It was a famous board game, of course I thought it was going to work.'
"They're often quite different - characters, story, setting. It is going to be called the 'Magnificent Seven' but it's not going to be the original 'Magnificent Seven.'
"In fact, the 'Magnificent Seven' was a remake of 'Seven Samurai'."

Eddie Redmayne tipped for more Oscars success

Eddie Redmayne has been tipped to win his second Oscar for his performance in 'The Danish Girl'.
The 33-year-old Brit won the Best Actor prize at this year's Academy Awards for his performance in the Stephen Hawking biopic 'The Theory of Everything', and Eddie's 'Danish Girl' co-star Matthias Schoenaerts has claimed he'll soon be adding to his collection.
He told Collider: "We just wrapped it exactly a week ago. Yeah, we were in Norway in a beautiful place on top of a mountain with a crazy panoramic view.
"I don't want to jinx it, but I can honestly say I'm pretty sure that Eddie Redmayne is gonna get his second Oscar nom, if not just the second Oscar period."
Earlier this year, Hollywood analyst Scott Feinberg suggested Eddie - who plays Lili Elbe, one of the first known recipients of sexual reassignment surgery, in 'The Danish Girl' - could vastly increase his earning potential by appearing in a superhero movie.
He said: "It is a big deal. Studios love enticing audiences by saying they have an Oscar winner on board. The next few weeks, months will be a very hectic, crazy time where a lot of offers will be made.
"Eddie has charmed everyone this year and Academy voters were very impressed by the physicality and commitment in his performance. Filmmakers want him for his likability and his talent."
