Rebel Wilson: Hollywood attracts crazy people

Rebel Wilson thinks Hollywood "draws in crazy people".

The ‘Bridesmaid’ star moved to the Los Angeles neighbourhood in 2010 in a bid to make it as an actress but thinks it is full of those who are "insane".

She said: "They’re all insane here. It draws in all the crazy people.

"Some are creative. Some are just f***ed up."

And Rebel also blames her status as the comedy queen of Hollywood for the reason why she hasn’t found love just yet.

She told the Guardian newspaper: "Girls are attracted to funny guys all the time, but in my experience it doesn’t seem to work the other way round.

"They find it intimidating. It’s something to do with that power thing. But at least I’m not bland."

Last month, Rebel argued Victoria’s Secret models are not the "best" role models for young people.

The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star encouraged women to be inspired by people based on their personalities and not by their figures.

She said: "I think sometimes girls look at Victoria’s Secret models and think that they have to model themselves after that, but I really don’t think that’s the best, even though they are called ‘models,’ they’re not the best people to model yourself after.

"I like to encourage girls to think, which is why I put that on my butt. It’s really about what’s up here [points to head], and not what’s here [points to backside]."
