Leonardo DiCaprio thanks Kate Winslet for awards support

Leonardo DiCaprio thanked his "home girl" Kate Winslet at the BAFTAs for her ongoing support during awards season.
The 41-year-old actor's British peers, including Winslet, have praised him for his portrayal of frontiersman Hugh Glass in 'The Revenant' and following his Leading Actor BAFTA win at the ceremony at The Royal Opera House in London on Sunday night (14.02.16) the Hollywood star expressed his gratitude to his 'Titanic' co-star for her kind words about his Oscar chances later this month.
When asked backstage at the BAFTAs how it felt to have Winslet insist he should "win" the Best Actor Academy Award, DiCaprio announced that she is his "main groupie", adding: "Kate's my home girl."
During his BAFTA acceptance speech, he named the late 'Lawrence of Arabia' star Peter O'Toole as an inspiration but also credited his 'The Revenant' co-star Tom Hardy for helping him give an award winning performance, saying he couldn't have achieved what he did in the film without him.
He said: "I'm absolutely honoured by this award tonight. I have to say as an actor I've been so influenced by so many British actors throughout the years. I want to thank one in particular British actor and that was my partner in this process - Mr. Tom Hardy. I want to thank you for your fierce loyalty, not only as a collaborator but as a friend. I could not have done this journey without you."
Although DiCaprio is now the hot favourite for the Best Actor accolade at the Oscars - which take place in Los Angeles on February 28 - he faces stiff competition in the category from Eddie Redmayne for 'The Danish Girl', Michael Fassbender for 'Steve Jobs', Bryan Cranston for 'Trumbo' and Matt Damon, who has been recognised for his role in 'The Martian'.
Speaking about how it felt to even be nominated for the Oscar - a prize which has so far eluded him during his career - DiCaprio added: "It feels amazing, honestly. No, honestly, I have a true love for cinema. I have ever since I was a young teenager. I grew up in this industry. Ironically I felt very detached from it even though I lived in East LA, in Hollywood.
"I always felt like it was this distant thing that I couldn't touch. So to have worked in this industry ever since I was 13 years old, having done 20 some odd movies, to be here now, and have it be for a film like this that we've worked so very hard on really feels amazing."
DiCaprio was joined at the ceremony at The Royal Opera House by the cream of the crop in Hollywood, including Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Saoirse Ronan, Steven Spielberg and Rooney Mara to name a few.

Annabelle Wallis role in King Arthur cut back

Annabelle Wallis has had her role in 'Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur' cut back "considerably".
The 31-year-old actress reportedly left filmmaker Guy Ritchie "disappointed" with her portrayal of Maid Maggie in his upcoming movie, so he is having to rework a large part of the film, resulting in the recently-announced delay to its release.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Annabelle's acting was not up to scratch and it has thrown a huge spanner in the works.
"Guy thought she was dreadful and has cut her part considerably as a result. He is really disappointed.
"The film will still go ahead but this has really set it back.
"They are having to re-shoot parts of the movie to fill in the gaps and it will take a long time. It's the last thing Guy needs right now to be honest."
Warner Bros. recently announced the upcoming movie's release date has been moved from July 22, 2016 to February 17, 2017.
Charlie Hunnam portrays the titular character in the movie, while Eric Bana stars as his father Uther Pendragon.
Jude Law is lined up as villain Vortigern and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey will portray Arthur's significant other Guinevere.
The story tells of Arthur being unaware of his destiny at first until he stumbles upon the mighty sword Excalibur.
After meeting Guinevere, he then sets about taking his rightful place on the throne, but evil Vortigern stands in his way.

William Shatner: I have no life regrets

William Shatner does not have any regrets about his life.
The 84-year-old actor, who is best known for his leading role in 'Star Trek', has revealed he considers himself to be "one of the luckiest men on Earth", having already achieved the bulk of his ambitions.
Asked what he would change about his life, Shatner said: "Nothing. I've got a beautiful wife, three beautiful children and I've raised a large amount of money for charity [a 2,400-mile motorbike ride across country for the American Legion].
"Everything that has gone on before has made me one of the luckiest men on Earth."
Despite his advancing years, Shatner - who played the iconic James Kirk on 'Star Trek' - tries to remain active and even feels guilty when he sits down.
He explained to the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "That's probably why I like to keep so busy. Tomorrow I'm doing a day of voiceover for the children's show 'The Clangers', and then I'm doing the narration for the WWE series, 'Breaking Ground'. I'm also trying to get a show off the ground for the 50th anniversary of 'Star Trek'."

Twiggy keen to make acting return

Twiggy is keen to return to acting.
The 66-year-old star, whose real name is Lesley Lawson, has revealed she is eager to work in front of the camera once more, but has remained tight-lipped about any roles she may have been offered.
Asked if she would act again, she said: "Yeah, we're working on a few ideas. It's harder because I'm older, so I get offered things that aren't really what I want. But there are a couple of projects of my own that I would love to do."
Twiggy made the transition to acting in 1971, starring in Ken Russell's movie 'The Boy Friend'.
The Brit - who won two Golden Globes for her on-screen performance - also revealed she is a huge admirer of another model who has made the same career move, Agyness Deyn, who starred in 'Clash of the Titans'.
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "She's sweet and very down-to-earth. We went to the Met Ball together in 2009. Burberry sponsored us to go and they dressed us. I wore - guess what? - a man's black tuxedo.
"I said to Chris [Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey]: 'Look, there are going to be dresses, each bigger and better, so I want to go in a tux.' I was probably the most comfortable person there that night."

Ralph Fiennes fear of disappointing

Ralph Fiennes' biggest fear is "disappointing other people".
The 'Grand Budapest Hotel' actor admits he often worries he is "failing" when he is playing out a role, and gets particularly concerned about letting people down on a movie or theatre production.
When asked about his greatest fear, Ralph, who is currently starring in Henrik Ibsen play 'The Master Builder', replied: "Disappointing other people.
"Even when I'm doing something I love, like this play, it carries with it all the fear of failing.
"My area of vulnerability is not letting people down. And being disappointed if I have."
While the 53-year-old star worries about upsetting people, he has been told that he makes people "nervous" at times but insists he is the one who feels anxious.
He told Red magazine: "People think I am very aloof or withdrawn. And I can be withdrawn.
"I can put up a barrier if I want to. It has been reported to me that I make people nervous.
"I'm actually very nervous myself. But I have been guilty of, when people are talking, going off in a dream. I glaze over."

Ben Stiller’s praise for Penelope Cruz

Ben Stiller enjoyed "feeling Penelope Cruz's bosom" on 'Zoolander 2'.
The 50-year-old actor is "shocked" the stunning star - who has children Leo, five, and Luna, two, with husband Javier Bardem - agreed to appear in the fashion comedy sequel because she is so talented, and he is thankful the role came along at the right time for her.
He said: "It was an excuse to feel her bosom... I'd then have Javier glaring at me from behind the camera!
"I'm still shocked Penelope agreed to be a part of this, she's a world-class Oscar winner with this unbelievable back catalogue of astounding roles.
"She's so funny, has this subtle timing and we were so lucky she was looking to do an American comedy."
'Zoolander 2' comes 15 years after Ben and Owen Wilson starred in the first movie as models Derek Zoolander and Hansel, and Ben is already looking ahead to the third installment, though it'll be a long time coming.
He told Britain's OK! magazine: "I'm digging this whole 15-year break. I'm 50, so it would be very interesting to check back on him at 65."

Douglas Booth is too handsome

Douglas Booth is too handsome for many acting roles.
The 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' actor admits he has been turned down for a number of parts he wanted because his good lucks have deemed him "too leading man".
He said: "[Being handsome] is the biggest reason I don't get parts. People say, 'He's too leading man, too this and that.' "
The 23-year-old star - who shot to fame when he portrayed a young Boy George in drama 'Worried About the Boy' - relished shedding his handsome appearance for his role in 'The Limehouse Golem' and found the project, in which he played a Victorian musical performer and murder suspect, "fulfilling".
He said: "That was an amazing opportunity to just lose myself.
"It was as fulfilling as playing Boy George, having the ability to transform myself."
Douglas has also worked as a Burberry model and recalled his embarrassment when he attended a star-studded Met Gala after party and got talking to acclaimed Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
He told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Madonna had just walked in. Sarah Jessica Parker wasn't getting in. Jay Z was waiting in the street. It was chaos.
"I pulled up with Mario Testino, Cara [Delevingne], Jourdan Dunn. Mario just pulled me in.
"I was waiting in the porch for Cara and Jourdan and Anna Wintour was also standing there.
"I said, 'Whose party is this?' It was hers, but she took it quite well."
