Ben Affleck got Batman advice from George Clooney and Christian Bale.
The 43-year-old actor takes over the Batsuit from Christian in the upcoming 'Batman v Superman' and revealed he turned to a few of his predecessors to get some further insight.
Ben joked: "I talked to Clooney and he gave me some advice which is not repeatable. And I talked to Christian, who just told me to make sure I got a zipper in the suit, which was valuable, practice advice as it turned out."
George took on the leading role in 1997's much-maligned 'Batman & Robin', while Christian starred in Christopher Nolan's acclaimed 'Batman Begins', 'The Dark Knight' and 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
Ben stars alongside Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, and admitted he was worried about competing with Henry's chiselled physique.
He told 'Good Morning America': "I saw Henry's movie and thought, there's no way I'm going to be in that good shape. He definitely set a high bar but Superman has to because he's an alien. I figured I had a lower bar to reach, Batman's just a man after all. I put on about 20lbs of muscle which is really hard to do, especially at my advanced age.

Colin Firth would happily wear "a mankini" for a film.
The 54-year-old actor joked he would have no qualms about bearing his buttocks and more in a crotch hugging swimsuit - which became popular after fellow British actor Sacha Baron Cohen donned the one-piece garment in his movie 'Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan' - in the name of art.
When asked about his latest character Max Perkins' dress sense in the forthcoming movie 'Genius', he quipped: "The suit is the costume. I put it on. If someone wants me to wear a mankini in a film, I'm available ... I'm ready to burst out of a cake."
The film is based on Scott Berg's book 'Max Perkins: Editor Of A Genius' and Colin plays the respected editor who embarks on a literary 'bromance' with Jude Law's character Thomas Wolfe.
The plot revolves around the true story of the relationship that developed between the pair, but also depicts other literary giants including 'The Great Gatsby' writer F. Scott Fitzgerald played by Guy Pearce and Ernest Hemingway played by Dominic West .
Nicole Kidman also stars as Wolfe's muse and lover Aline Bernstein in the British-American biographical drama, which has been directed by Michael Grandage.
And Colin added that he thinks Max's familiar suit portrays a certain "repression" in the character.
On a more serious note, he told Deadline: "You'd be surprised how much variation I can find within the confines of a suit ... I find repression really interesting because I think there's an awful lot going on inside there. Mystery is fascinating in all art forms."
'Genius' is set for release on July 29.

Daisy Ridley returns as Rey, 'Game of Thrones' star Gwendoline Christie will be seen again as Captain Phasma, Oscar Isaac reprises his role as Commander Poe Dameron and Carrie Fisher will be back as General Leia Organa.

Leonardo DiCaprio "screamed" at Robert De Niro to win a part in 'This Boy's Life'.
The 41-year-old actor had never met the Hollywood star when he was just a teenager auditioning to play his stepson in the 1993 movie, and revealed how in order to leave a lasting impression he yelled in De Niro's face at the top of his lungs.
DiCaprio told Deadline: "I remember there was this mustard jar sequence, and just thinking to myself, 'S**t, I've got to do something ... memorable. I've got to do something to just rattle these people's cages.' I went in and they were doing the mustard jar sequence, and (De Niro)'s like, 'Is it empty, is it empty?' And I just stood up and threw my chair down, or something, and screamed at him, 'No, it's not empty.' And then Bob had this smirk on his face, and just started slowly busting up, laughing in my face. And then he looked at everybody else, and the whole room starting laughing.
"I was like, 'Holy s**t, I blew it. I blew this. I blew this whole opportunity.' "
But the young DiCaprio did win the part of Toby Wolff opposite DeNiro's abusive stepfather character Dwight Hansen, and the film helped launch his movie career.
The Hollywood star - who won the Leading Actor prize at the BAFTAs last weekend and is tipped to win the Best Actor statuette at the Oscars on February 28 for his depiction of frontiersman Hugh Glass in 'The Revenant' - said: "I guess at 15 you misunderstand. I guess they kind of liked it, because Bob was like, 'That kid was ... there's something interesting there.' And they brought me back."

Simon Kinberg says a 'Deadpool' sequel is possible with Cable joining the franchise.
The producer of the first ever R-rated Marvel Comics superhero film 'Deadpool' - which stars Ryan Reynolds in the titular role as the wise-cracking character - wants another film to be made following the success of the new film, which has just hit cinemas.
Kinberg thinks addition of the time-travelling mutant Cable - Deadpool's friend and foe in the comic books - would be perfect for another movie which could focus on alternative X-Men squad the X-Force.
Speaking during a Q&A at Collider's exclusive IMAX screening of 'Deadpool', Kinberg - who has produced many of the 'X-Men' movies - said: "I think there are some stories that could be R-rated. I don't know what they are, I mean I think the mainline X-Men movies have their own tone, which is a more operatic tone. It's more dramatic, it is more PG-13 in a way. 'X-Force' I could see being R-rated, and who knows?"
Reynolds has previously admitted making an X-Force movie is his number one "priority".
The 39-year-old actor's dream would be to bring Marvel Comics' militant mutant superhero squad X-Force, which has at times featured Wolverine, Psylocke and Colossus among many other characters, to the big screen.
He said: "In the future, if we're doing a bunch more 'Deadpool' movies, we're really going to explore the X-Men a lot. And maybe X-Force. X-Force is my priority. I really want to get that in."
Deadpool has a long history with X Force, having first appeared in their original Marvel comic book series New Mutants from 1991.

'Amy', the documentary film about Amy Winehouse, has won a Grammy.
Eight years after the late singer swept the board at the ceremony, the documentary about her life and death, made by Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees, was awarded the Best Music Film prize at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday night (15.02.16).
It beat off stiff competition from other films 'Mr Dynamite: The Rise of James Brown', Foo Fighters' 'Sonic Highways', 'What Happened, Miss Simone?' and Roger Waters' 'The Wall'.
What's more, it's the second posthumous Grammy for Amy; her song 'Body and Soul', which she recorded with Tony Bennett for his 'Duets II' album, won the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance prize in 2012.
Amy passed away in 2011 at the age of 27, following a much publicised battle with drug and alcohol addiction , but previously won five awards at the prestigious music ceremony in 2008 for Best New Artist, Song of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Record of the Year for her 2006 album, Back to Black album 'Back to Black'.
The Grammy win comes after Asif picked up the Best Documentary gong at the BAFTA Awards in London on Sunday (14.02.16).
Though he was not in LA to collect the Grammy, speaking during his BAFTAs acceptance speech, he attributed the documentary's success to the fact that the filmmakers fell in love with their fellow Londoner and her spirit.
He said: "In the end it was all about Amy. We really fell in love with her when making the film. And our aim and mission was really to try and tell the truth about her.
"To show the world what an amazing person she was, how intelligent, how witty, how beautiful she was, before it all kind of got out of control and went a bit crazy."
The documentary used archival footage and personal testimonials from Amy's friends and collaborators, and presented her music in chronological order throughout her life and career.
It received rave reviews however Amy's father Mitch Winehouse hit out at the makers of the film and described the documentary as "very hurtful" because he believed it focused too much on her battle with drugs and alleged she didn't receive enough support from her family to beat her addictions.
'Amy' is also up for this year's Best Feature Documentary at the Oscars later this month.

Jesse Eisenberg says his Lex Luthor in 'Batman v Superman' will be more "modern and multi-faceted".
The actor takes on the role of Superman's nemesis in the upcoming superhero movie and revealed he wanted to make the villain more "realistic".
He told Playboy: "The character is in line with what audiences want to see now, which is a more modern, psychologically realistic concept of Lex Luthor. His motivations are multifaceted; he has a way of using language that's specific to the way his mind works; he struggles with interesting philosophical dilemmas like that of the individual having too much power, even if that individual is using that power for good.
"For instance, Superman has so far been using his powers to do some good, but is it safe to have someone like that walking the streets? It's great that all of this happens in the context of a very exciting superhero movie."
Henry Cavill plays Superman while Ben Affleck stars as Batman in the new movie and Jesse loved working with them both.
He added: "They're both very smart, funny people. They were wonderful to work with because we were all sort of adjusting things to make the scenes as good as they could be. Henry has already played Superman in another movie so he has such a strong idea of his character. That was fun for me because I could play with that.
"Ben Affleck is also very sharp. Doing this was a lot of fun because the three of us like to improvise, changing dialogue and all. But it was also strange for me: I have a lot of respect for both of them and yet my character mocks them both a lot in the movie. But that was just the nature of the thing."

John Boyega wants to take home Finn's jacket from the set of 'Star Wars Episode VIII'.
Shooting on the sci-fi sequel only just started on Monday (15.02.16) but the 23-year-old actor already has his eyes on his character's distinctive brown leather jacket which he wants to keep for himself once shooting wraps
As well as the coat - which was given to Finn by fellow heroic character Poe Dameron in 'The Force Awakens' - Boyega has a wish list of props he wants to keep as mementos from the movie.
Speaking at the BAFTA Awards, he said: "I'm going to go back in for what's mine. This time around I'm going to do it right. So this time I've got my list together and I'll definitely get all the props. A light saber, Finn's jacket, and various other bits. I don't have Finn's jacket so I'm going to have to get that."
Boyega has been busy learning his lines for the next instalment in the sci-fi franchise and is looking forward to being reunited with his co-star and friend Daisy Ridley - who plays Rey - and the rest of the cast which includes Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie.

John Boyega loves teasing 'Star Wars' fans by hinting Finn and Poe Dameron could have a romantic relationship.
The 23-year-old actor plays deserting Stormtrooper Finn in 'The Force Awakens' last year and in the continuing sci-fi saga.
In 'Episode VII', Finn forms a close bond with X-wing fighter pilot Poe - played by Oscar Isaac - after rescuing him from the clutches of the First Order and speculation the two characters could become more than friends has been rampant online.
Although Boyega is sure the two guys just enjoy a "bromance" in a galaxy far, far away he likes to have fun with the idea with fans.
Speaking backstage at the BAFTA Awards - at which he took home the EE Rising Star prize - Boyega cheekily said: "As far as I'm concerned, when J.J. (Abrams) sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance. But now I'm learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn't know that Darth Vader was Luke's father. You never know what they're going to pull. I'm looking at the director Rian (Johnson) closely so he can get me involved early, so I can prepare myself. So who knows?
"What's so funny, I posted a video the other day of myself working out, skipping, and in the background Oscar is just like, 'Yeah baby go on!' and people just went crazy."
Boyega shared the video with his 506,000 followers on Twitter last week, and captioned the clip: "@mrcalliet influenced my cardio routine today. Doesn't hurt that I have Oscar Isaac in the background cheering me on. (sic)"
Shooting on 'Star Wars Episode VIII' began on Monday (15.02.16) and returning actors Boyega and Isaac will be joined in the sequel by Daisy Ridley, who is reprising her role as Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren and Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa.
