Peter Dinklage wants fans’ memories for new movie

Peter Dinklage has appealed for fans to send their memories for his new movie.
The 46-year-old actor stars in 'Rememory' as Sam Bloom, a man who witnesses the unveiling of a machine that extracts and records memories in their purest form and then uses the device to turn detective and solve the murder of the machine's inventor Gordon Dunn (Martin Dunn) and director Mark Palansky is keen to use genuine footage in the film.
Peter said: "Send us something you think is lovely or more importantly, keep it personal. With iPhones and the technology we now have, everyone is capable of doing it. It looks beautiful when it is uploaded to film. I don't want to apply any rules or guidelines to it at all. Do what you feel touches you."
Though there are no "rules or guidelines", the 'Game of Thrones' star is expecting some raunchy footage to be submitted, which they won't be able to use - but he'll still enjoy watching the clips.
He joked to Empire: "I'm sure half of these we won't be able to be use because they will probably be pretty blue. You know what? Those will be fun to watch too!"

The film has wrapped principal photography and is currently in post-production.

J.J. Abrams Star Wars regret for Leia and Chewie scene

J.J. Abrams regrets that General Leia didn't "hug" Chewbacca in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' following the death of Han Solo.
The 49-year-old director has responded to fans' upset over the Rebel Alliance leader's choice to embrace new character Rey (Daisy Ridley) rather than the legendary Wookiee - and her life-long comrade - who was in obvious pain after the shock demise of the space smuggler and captain of the Millennium Falcon.
Asked why Leia - played by Carrie Fisher in the science fiction franchise - appears to give her furry friend (Peter Mayhew) the cold shoulder during the emotive scene, he explained: "That was probably one of the mistakes I made in that... Had Chewbacca not been where he was, you probably wouldn't have thought of it. But because he was right there, passed by Leia, it felt almost like a slight, which was definitely not the intention."
With the benefit of hindsight the director admitted the moment could have been treated more sensitively however his plan was for Chewie to concentrate on saving fellow 'Star Wars' newcomer Finn (John Boyega), as the heroic rebel stormtrooper who was being overcome in battle at the time.
He told Slashfilm: "My thinking at the time was that Chewbacca, despite the pain he was feeling, was focused on trying to save Finn and getting him taken care of. So I tried to have Chewbacca go off with him and focus on Rey, and then have Rey find Leia and Leia find Rey. The idea being that both of them being strong with the Force and never having met, would know about each other -- that Leia would have been told about her beyond what we saw on-screen and Rey of course would have learned about Leia. And that reunion would be a meeting and a reunion all in one, and a sort of commiseration of their mutual loss."
Meanwhile, Chewbacca and Han Solo - originally played by Harrison Ford - are set to reunite in the upcoming origins movie about the characters.
Not much has been revealed about the 'Star Wars' spin-off film however it is set to be directed by 'The LEGO Movie's Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and the pair confirmed it will be centered on "an origin story about Han Solo and Chewie."
The film is currently untitled but is set to be released on May 25, 2018.

Beyonce out of A Star Is Born remake

Beyoncé Knowles is out of the 'A Star Is Born' remake.
The 34-year-old actress was originally approached about starring in the movie when Clint Eastwood was attached to direct in 2011 and was in talks to take part in Bradley Cooper's production but her fee was reportedly too high.
A source told the New York Post's Page Six: "Beyoncé wanted too much money, and Warner Bros. balked at her price. The production budget was also said to be an issue with the studio, so the project has fallen apart."
However, despite claims the entire project has fallen through, it is believed that the project has now simply been put on hold while Bradley works on upcoming acting projects.
Another insider explained: "Bradley has started reading scripts for his next acting project. But the 'A Star Is Born' project remains in development and Bradley is still involved."
"This project is something Bradley has been involved with for a long time. It has gone on the back burner, but he's still working on it, among other projects."

Kung Fu Panda franchise touches multiple generations

The 'Kung Fu Panda' franchise has touched multiple generations.
Co-Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson is delighted that the film series is being watched by people taking their children along who weren't even born when the first movie was released in 2008.
She told BANG Showbiz: "It's quite amazing, we are showing this to people who have not been born when the first movie came out; little kids that are under 12 years old, we have been working on these movies for 12 years.
"And they bring their kids, too. People have maybe seen it when they were teens, and now they bring their kids in."
The film sees Jack Black lend his voice to the main character, panda Po, and also stars Kate Hudson, Jackie Chan and Angelina Jolie, whose children Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old Knox lent their voices to characters Yoo, Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai and Ku Ku respectively in the film.
Co-director Alessandro Carloni added: "Like Jack Black and Angelina, who brought their kids to record characters in the movie, and they were not even born when they were working on the first movie.
"I think the fun of this project is that you get new fans that love the show, but then the older ones that grew up with it, they don't want to let go of it they still come back to see because secretly deep down they love Po no matter what age they are."
'Kung Fu Panda 3' is set to hit cinemas on Friday (11.03.16).

Arnold Schwarzenegger talks Predator return

Arnold Schwarzenegger is to enter talks with Shane Black about starring in 'The Predator' movie.
The 68-year-old acting legend played Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer in the first movie in the franchise, 1987's 'Predator', and admits he has planned a meeting with the upcoming film's director to see if he can take on the role again in the motion picture, which is a sequel to the original.
Speaking at the annual Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, he said: "I haven't talked with him (Shane Black) yet but I'm going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I'm finished with this and 'The Apprentice' and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we'll of course let you know right away. There's also a meeting coming up soon about Conan, about the project moving forward."
Arnold's revelation appears to indicate Dutch could be mentioned in the pre-approved script for the movie, which is expected to be released in 2018, and the star admits he would love to reprise his role as the special forces team leader for his supporters.
He added to fan site The Arnold Fans: "Look, the fans are the most important thing because without the fans, I'd be nothing.
"So I just always want them to know that I appreciate them very much; their loyalty, their dedication, and their passion about all the stuff that I'm doing. So, thank you."
Dutch was mentioned in both 1990's 'Predator 2' and 'Predators' in 2010, which starred Adrien Brody, Laurence Fishburne, and Danny Trejo, but Arnold didn't appear in either film.
