Robert Downey: There won’t be an Iron Man 4

Robert Downey Jr. says there won't be an 'Iron Man 4'.
The 50-year-old actor has revealed there are no plans in motion to make a fourth movie fully focused on Tony Stark and his metal-suited alter ego.
When asked about the possibility of another sequel in the Marvel Studios franchise, he said: "I don't think that's on the cards."
The three Iron Man films were a box office hit and trio amassed more than $2 billion worldwide since the first was released in 2008.
However, Downey has no plans to ditch the character and is happy to play Stark in more 'Avengers' movies and other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He has reprised the role for 'Captain America: Civil War' and, although the movie is officially the third in the series based on super-soldier Steve Rodgers, Downey admits it feels like an 'Iron Man' sequel.
Downey - who is married to Susan Downey - told the USA Today newspaper: "In a way it's 'Cap 3' but for me it's like my little 'Iron Man 4'. And then it's back to the thing we all recognise. Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an 'Avengers' thing comes through because that's how it is until it changes. If it changes."

Eddie Redmayne has ‘heart and compassion’

Eddie Redmayne was cast in 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' because he can bring "heart and compassion" to his characters.
The 33-year-old actor portrays magizoologist Newt Scamander in the upcoming 'Harry Potter' spin-off and was the first choice for the role.
Producer David Heyman said: "Newt is someone who can communicate better with his creatures than he does with people. He's a Brit who finds himself in the US and the American magical universe is different to the British one.
"Eddie was our first choice. He's very good at playing characters that are out of step, as it were, and bringing to them a real heart and compassion. He has a desire to bring truth to every moment. He's very charming and appealing to men and women alike. And he's a timeless actor, so he fits perfectly into 1920s New York."
Eddie is joined in the film by Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, Samantha Morton and Ron Perlman and creator J.K. Rowling - who also wrote the screenplay - approved of all the casting.
Discussing how hands-on she has been on the project, David told Total Film magazine: "Jo was on set and has been an incredible support to us.
"We'd run concepts by her, she'd give her thoughts and we'd adjust accordingly. She certainly was aware of all the lead casting choices before we finalised them."

Tom Hiddleston’s soul searching

Tom Hiddleston tried to get into the mind of Hank Williams in preparation to play him in a biopic.
The 35-year-old actor is portraying the late singer-songwriter in 'I Saw the Light' and was encouraged by musical director Rodney Crowell to get to grips with the meanings behind the legendary star's tracks.
Tom explained to TasteofCountry.com: "I remember asking him, 'What do I need to do to? I've got four months to get myself ready for this. These are big boots. What do I need to do?'
"And Rodney says, 'Before you do anything else - before you think about sounding like Hank, playing like Hank - learn the songs. And learn them for yourself. Find out what they mean to you.'
"Essentially just to invest myself in the meaning of those songs, and then come see him again in a few months' time, and Rodney would work on modulating tone and rhythm. But initially, the simple work was actually just to mean it ... because that was the only way I think I was ever gonna translate the power of his music to people."
Meanwhile, Tom previously revealed the part was a "joy" for him to portray.
He explained: "I certainly connected to his joy of performing. There's no question that he felt, he took huge pleasure in the connection between himself and his audience."

Shohreh Aghdashloo to star in Star Trek Beyond

Shohreh Aghdashloo has joined the cast of 'Star Trek Beyond'.
Deadline reports that Shohreh is to film new scenes on the sci-fi sequel, as re-shoots are to take place following principle photography wrapping last October.
Shohreh will play the High Command of the Federation.
The Justin Lin-directed movie sees Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) and the Enterprise crew out on their five-year mission to explore strange new worlds but they encounter a hostile alien race and left stranded on a strange planet with no spacecraft or hope of rescue.
The forthcoming sci-fi movie, which was originally set to be released on July 8, 2016, won't hit cinema screens now until July 22, 2016 due to the required re-shoots. It is coming out the same year the original TV series celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The change of release date means the Paramount film will now go up against Warner Bros' 'King Arthur' and Fox's 'Ice Age: Collision Course' at the box office.
Simon Pegg - who co-wrote the eagerly-anticipated film alongside Doug Jung - previously revealed there was a lot of pressure to get the script in on time.
Speaking about the tight schedule, he said: "It was a very truncated process because the time frame was a lot shorter than we'd normally have. It's really forced us into action; you make use of the time you have."
'Star Trek Beyond' sees Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zacharay Quinto reprise their roles from the previous two movies.

Oscar Isaac shares letter from Alec Guinness mocking Star Wars

Oscar Isaac shared a letter from Sir Alec Guinness in which he revealed he didn't like his 'Star Wars' character Obi Wan Kenobi at the Letters Live event in London on Sunday (13.03.16).
The 36-year-old actor - who joined the sci-fi franchise last year as X-wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' - surprised guests when he recited lines penned by the late star that revealed Guinness had few positive things to say about his Jedi Master character or director George Lucas' script for the original 1977 movie 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope'.
During the movie's shoot, he wrote: "Can't say I'm enjoying the film ... New rubbish dialogue reaches me every other day on wadges of pink paper, and none of it makes my character clear or even bearable."
He went on to mock Han Solo actor Harrison Ford - who recently reprised the role in 'Episode VII' - by calling him a "languid man" whose name he could not remember.
Recalling his other co-star Mark Hamill - who portrayed Obi Wan's student Luke Skywalker - he went on: "Mark Hamill and Tennyson (that can't be right) Ford. Ellison? No! Well a rangy, languid man who is probably intelligent and amusing."
Guinness died in 2000 at the age of 86 in England, where he started out as a Shakespearean actor before making the move to Hollywood.
After staring as Obi Wan Kenobi in the original film, Guinness returned to the role in sequels 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' and his voice also comes to Rey - played by Daisy Ridley - in a flashback scene in 'The Force Awakens'.

Sky Ferreira joins Kevin Spacey in Baby Driver

Sky Ferreira will star alongside Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx in 'Baby Driver'.
The 23-year-old pop songstress has joined the star-studded cast - which also features 'The Fault In Our Stars' actor Ansel Elgort and 'Cinderella's Lily James - for the action-comedy thriller, which is set for release next year.
'Shaun Of The Dead ' director Edgar Wright is helming the title and the 'I Blame Myself' singer is delighted to be involved in the movie.
Sky took to her Instagram to share the news and also revealed she has bagged a role in another film called 'Rosy'.
The singer and actress penned: "It just got announced that I'm going to be in Baby Driver directed by @edgar_wright & Rosy directed by Jess Manafort. (sic)"
'Baby Driver' will follow a getaway driver who has been coerced into crime and becomes involved in a failed heist.
Ferreira also stars in the upcoming comedy-drama film 'Elvis and Nixon', which is out next month.
Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter will release new album 'Masochism' later this year with the help of producer Ariel Rechtshaid, who has assisted on Adele and Beyonce's albums.

John Goodman stars in Patriots Day

John Goodman is to star in 'Patriots Day', which is based on the Boston Marathon bombings.
The 'Big Lebowski' actor, 63, has boarded the cast of the movie named after the historical holiday on which the terrorist attack took place in April 2013, and will play the role of Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, who worked with various law enforcement agencies to track, identify and apprehend the suspected bombers.
Mark Wahlberg - who was born in Boston, Massachusetts - is producing the movie and was also said to be keen to play the role of Ed, who has provided a first-hand account of the dramatic day when three people died and 264 others were injured.
Oscar winner J.K. Simmons will portray Watertown Police Sergeant Jeffrey Puglies, and Jimmy O. Yang - who stars in HBO series 'Silicon Valley' - will play Dun Meng, who was carjacked and held captive for 90 minutes before escaping.
The movie is being directed by Peter Berg and the filmmaker is thrilled to have Goodman on board because the legendary actor will bring "gravitas" to the role.
He said: "Commissioner Davis is an American hero, and John Goodman brings the extraordinary combination of humility, gravitas and empathy to portray him."
'Patriots Day' isn't the only film to tell the story of the event. Fox is currently working on a Boston Marathon-related movie of its own, with Casey Affleck set to produce and star in the film.

Jack Black’s son ‘proud’ of first movie role

Jack Black's son is "very proud" of his role in 'Kung Fu Panda 3'.
The 46-year-old actor's eldest child Samuel, nine, has followed in his father's footsteps by voicing a character for the upcoming animation movie and Jack is incredibly pleased with the "tasty little performance".
He said: "He threw down a tasty little performance. He's the first bunny in the movie and he says 'Save the valley!' His name is in the credits at the end and he's very proud. It's a cool thing to share with him."
And Jack - who also has seven-year-old son Thomas with his wife Tanya Haden - praised the film's protagonist, Po the panda, as a "ridiculous hero".
Speaking at the Australian premiere of the movie, he added to news.com.au: "I love Po's passion for kung fu and his clumsy innocence. He's one of the most ridiculous heroes of all time."
Meanwhile, Jack previously revealed he feels theatre actor Stephen Kearin is the "unsung hero" of the production as he impersonates the other characters when they're individually recording their voiceover tracks.
He explained: "Sometimes he's not available. They'll say, 'We're going to bring in, uh, Larry from accounts. He's going to read the lines with you today.' And I'm like, 'No, he's not. Let me know when Stephen's available.' He's the unsung hero.
"He does an amazing one-man show with the unfortunate title Inside Out, so if you look it up on the internet, you'll never find it. It's a very precise science these guys are working with, so unfortunately I don't get to high-five Angelina Jolie every time I go into DreamWorks Animation."
