Michael Keaton in final talks to Spider-Man: Homecoming

Michael Keaton is in talks to star in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
The 64-year-old actor is in final negotiations with studio bosses and being lined up to play a villainous role in the Marvel movie, according to Deadline.
The ‘Spotlight’ actor was rumoured to be taking the role in April but he is now close to closing the deal to play The Vulture, a well-known Marvel baddie and adversary of Spider-Man.
The Vulture was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and uses a flight harness that grants him enhanced strength and longer lifespan.
He was robbed by his embezzling business partner and turned to a life of crime out of bitterness and a desire for revenge and encounters Peter Parker – played by newcomer Tom Holland – after the schoolboy tries to take a picture of him for the paper which eventually employs him as a freelance photographer, The Daily Bugle.
Robert Downey Jr. will play Tony Stark – a.k.a Iron Man, and Parker and Stark were first introduced in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ when the inventor successfully recruited the teenager into the Avengers.
Marisa Tomei is once more Aunt May, with Tony Revolori and Laura Harrier as Peter’s schoolmates and singer/actress Zendaya has joined the movie but it is not yet known who she will play.
Jon Watts is directing the film from a script penned by with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.
