Megan McKenna "ignores" body-shaming trolls on social media.
The 26-year-old country singer has opened up about the "negative comments" she receives from individuals on different social platforms, and the star has insisted that she doesn’t let online abuse bring her down because it’s just "wasted energy".
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Megan said: "I ignore them [trolls]! I don’t let the negative comments get to me and don’t waste my energy on them."
The ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star – who suffers with coeliac disease, which is a common digestive condition that can cause a range of symptoms including abdominal pain and bloating – thinks all body shapes should be "celebrated" on social media, and revealed that she has previously been attacked online for her "anorexic" shape, which is just as offensive as being shamed for not being skinny.
She added: "Every type of body shape should be celebrated I get called anorexic all the time which should be taken as seriously as someone who is shamed for not being skinny."
And the former ‘TOWIE’ star says that she doesn’t have a dedicated fitness routine and instead walks her beloved pet poodle Daisy and maintains a healthy diet.
She exaplained: "No I just walk my dog Daisy and am restricted with what I can eat due to my coeliacs disease."
Megan kicked off her ‘Story of Me Tour’ on May 30 at Chinnery’s in Southend-on-Sea and will be touring the rest of the UK until next month.
