Megan McKenna and Mike ‘Muggy Mike’ Thalassitis are back together.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star hit the headlines last week when she confirmed that she and the ‘Love Island’ hunk had decided to call it quits following two months of dating, but it seems the pair have had a change of heart as they enjoyed a romantic dinner date at Megan’s restaurant McKGrill in Essex last night (01.05.18).
The 25-year-old former footballer documented their date on social media as he uploaded a video of their food, before he panned the camera to a beaming Megan, 25, who was sat opposite him, and wrote: Losing my @MCKGRILL virginity"
Their romantic dinner comes just days after they were spotted screaming at one another in the street following a drunken night out in London.
A source said: "They’re talking again and they’re back together. They wanted to make it work – after the split, they knew the relationship wasn’t over, and started talking again. They really like each other and want to make things work. They’re so on and off though – things are so volatile – that their mates are trying to stay out of it."
The pair’s turbulent relationship will no doubt be documented in Megan’s new album as she was in the studio with Amy Wadge – who has collaborated on hits with Ed Sheeran – last week and she has previously said she uses heartbreak as inspiration.
An insider said recently: "Megan’s music is her focus right now. She was in Wales pouring her heart out in really deep songs with Amy last week, so things were on the rocks between her and Mike since then. She’s keeping quiet about what happened with them and why they ended. But she’s pouring her heart out about the split in the studio and is determined to turn her pain into something positive. There’s no doubt when her new songs come out we will get insight into what has happened."
