Maura Higgins says Danny Williams has caught her eye on Love Island

Maura Higgins admits Danny Williams has caught her eye on Thursday’s (20.06.19) episode of ‘Love Island’.
The 28-year-old model shocked the other Islanders on this week when she admitted she wasn’t feeling a connection with newcomer Tom Walker – who has made it clear he fancies her – but the brunette beauty could still set her sights on 21-year-old hunk Danny, even though he is coupled up with Yewande Biala.
Speaking with Molly-Mae Hague and Lucie Donlan on the terrace, she says: "It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Yewande and Danny. He is a really nice guy. I have such a laugh with Danny. He has got good craic."
It seems Maura could be catching feelings for him even though she admits she "felt nothing" when they went on their first date in the villa.
However, she later reflects in the Beach Hut, and says: "Danny has definitely grown on me. It’s probably a surprise to everyone. It’s not really a surprise to me because that is how I connect with someone, when I get know them."
Later on, the girls gather around the fire pit for a game of ‘Snog Marry Avoid’ based on the boys in the villa.
Maura says: "I would snog Danny, marry Curtis Pritchard and avoid Anton Danyluk. But only because of the leg-shaving thing!"
Anna answers: "Avoid Anton. Marry Curtis, obviously he is my bro now but personality-wise he is perfect husband material. I would snog Jordan Hames after yesterday’s snog!"
Newcomer Arabella Chi admits: "I would snog Danny, I would marry Curtis and join the queue! I would avoid Tommy Fury. I feel like I couldn’t trust him."
Molly-Mae seems taken aback by Arabella’s admission and says: "Because of the turning head thing?"
Arabella replies: "Yeah."
Molly-Mae is left irritated by Arabella’s comment and later on in the Beach Hut says: "It was a little bit of a dig. It’s suggesting that I shouldn’t trust him."
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
