Lucy Mecklenburgh wants Ryan Thomas to propose next year.
The 27-year-old star is keen for the 34-year-old former ‘Coronation Street’ actor to pop the question so they can marry, and have children.
Ryan told OK! magazine: "She’s always dropping hints about what she wants to happen. I think Lucy wants me to propose next year."
Lucy replied: ‘You’d better get saving because I want a really heavy left hand."
The loved-up couple are also planning to buy a house together in Manchester in the new year.
Ryan – who has daughter Scarlett, 10, with his ex and former ‘Corrie’ co-star Tina O’Brien – said: "We want to find a family home that we can stay in for a long time."
Lucy said: "We’ve been together for a year and a half now so the time feels right to take the next step.
"We’ve already started looking but we haven’t found anything that we love yet.
"We want a four-bed place so we have room to grow into it and we won’t have to move if more children come into the picture."
The brunette stunner admitted she wouldn’t embark in a relationship with someone if they weren’t "on the same page" as her.
She said: "We both know that we want to get married and have kids one day and we’re happy that our relationship is moving in that direction.
"I wouldn’t waste my time with someone if I didn’t believe we were on the same page about children and getting married. I know we both want the same things in the future."
