Lucy Mecklenburgh hasn’t been able to get a date since she split from her boyfriend Louis Smith earlier this year.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star believes she’s become "unapproachable" since she called time on her 14-month romance with the Olympic gymnast in January.
Speaking to the Sunday Star newspaper about her stagnant love life, the brunette beauty said: "No one’s really tried chatting me up yet. My friends say I’m the most unapproachable person and don’t realise it. Someone will come up to me and ask if I want a drink and I’ll be like, ‘No, I’ve just bought one’. I don’t even realise what I’m doing."
But, although she’s yet to nab herself a new man, the 24-year-old star will never resort to internet dating.
She explained: "It’s not like I can go on dating apps. A lot of my friends have met their boyfriends that way but I think it’s more difficult when you’re in the public eye."
However, that isn’t the case for her former beau as Louis, 26, swiftly signed up to the dating app Tinder just a few weeks after he split with Lucy in a bid to find himself a new girlfriend.
