Lorraine Kelly cries during on-air conversation with daughter

Lorraine Kelly was overcome with emotion as she spoke to her daughter via video link on ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The 60-year-old presenter is currently separated from her 24-year-old daughter Rosie – who lives in Singapore – amid the coronavirus pandemic, and Lorraine became visibly emotional during their on-air chat.
Rosie – who has been living and working in Singapore for almost four years – explained: "Today is essentially the start of a lockdown here, so we need to stay at home … we can go out and get food shopping, but everything else is closed.
"We can go out for exercise but it’s all kind of weird … but it’s all starting today."
Rosie subsequently explained some of the other measures the Singaporean government have had in place since January, admitting it’s been a "weird" few months for her.
She continued: "The government here are really strict. So if you’re caught out, you either get a $10,000 fine or six months in jail.
"And if you’re a foreign worker – like me and most of my friends – if you’re caught breaking the rules, you can have your employment pass revoked. You’d have 30 days to pack up your things and leave, so that’s quite scary for people."
As their conversation came to an end, Lorraine became noticeably more emotional and she began to breakdown in tears.
The veteran presenter – who has been married to her husband, Steve Smith, since 1992 – said: "Listen, it’s so good to talk to you, baby, it’s so good to see your wee face. We miss you … stay safe, love!"
