Lorna Fitzgerald: The Brannings will have an unhappy reunion

Lorna Fitzgerald has teased an unhappy reunion for the Branning family in ‘EastEnders’.
The 20-year-old actress – who plays Abi Branning – has revealed there will be fireworks when her on-screen sister Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and father Max Branning (Jake Wood) return to Walford later this summer.
She said: "Abi Branning has been on quite an emotional roller coaster – especially the last couple of months. Bless her, it’s quieting down now as she’s moved in with her grandma and back to her roots and where she came from.
"I don’t think she is happy to see Lauren. They haven’t been the friendliest of sisters. Secretly I think she does love having her back because that is the family unit that she is used to."
And Lorna has revealed that as soon as Lauren returns, the siblings start fighting after she finds out her older sister knew last year that evil Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington) had killed his half-sister Lucy (Hetti Bywater) but had let her father Max go down for her murder anyway.
Lorna added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She definitely has a chip on her shoulder about this past year and being left so I think that comes to a front.
"She is very angry so I think she’s got a lot of pent up emotions which she hasn’t been able to get out because she’s been living with her grandma so Lauren might get the brunt of that.
"I also loved seeing the other side of Abi – the darker side. Aunt Babe, I just love watching her over the past year. It would be nice if Abi did cotton on but I think she does see the good side of everybody – which is a blessing and a curse because she doesn’t see that a lot of people will take an advantage of that."
