Lauren Pope and Chloe Sims have ended their feud.
The 33-year-old former star of ‘The Only Way is Essex’ has revealed that she is talking to her old friend Chloe Sims again following their bust-up.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Lauren said: "I sent her a drunk text not so long ago. Well, I was out at dinner with a load of friends, when you have one of those dinners where you just talk about old stories and Chloe was included in quite a lot of our funny stories. So you know when you have a moment where you’re like ‘It’s quite sad actually we’re not talking.’ And I just sent a text just saying ‘I don’t really know where it all went wrong’, that sort of text. And she replied saying ‘I hope you are well’."
The pair fell out spectacularly during Series 13 of TOWIE when Lauren found out that Chloe had shared a passionate and very public kiss with Mario Falcone, who once dated Lauren. But their friendship strained even further when she discovered that Chloe and Mario had secretly dated for a month – at a time when Lauren and Mario had a date and drunken kiss.
Lauren took Chloe’s hook-up as a breach of the ‘girl code’ and their friendship was broken.
In April 2014, Chloe said in an interview that she ‘never’ wanted to be friends with Lauren again.
Lauren later quit the ITVBe reality show at the end of Series 16 to focus on her fashion collection and clip-in hair range Hair Rehab London and things remained frosty between the pair until now.
Lauren added: "It wasn’t like a big happy reunion but if I see her now it doesn’t have to be awkward. We are not best buddies but we are in an okay place."
