Julianne Moore doesn’t want to talk about ageing

Julianne Moore wants to stop talking about ageing.
The 57-year-old actress finds it frustrating that she’s constantly quizzed about getting older and everyone’s life has a "timeframe" so she should just be left to get along with her life.
In an interview with Porter magazine, she said: "Oh my God. I’ve been talking about aging since I was 30, can we just be alive!"
"We’re all aging – children are aging. That’s what life is and we have to accept that there’s a beginning, a middle and an end. It’s important to remember there’s a timeframe, so we can be awake for it."
The ‘Boogie Nights’ star also claims that as well as Hollywood being focused on age, they often label women as "strong"- and Julianne believes not every woman should automatically be put into this category.
She said: "It’s funny because right now, along with the aging conversation, there’s a ‘strong woman’ conversation.
"And I’m like, ‘Why is that an attribute that everyone has to have?’ People are complicated. Some people are stronger than others and some people are able to achieve their goals and others aren’t."
Julianne – who has children Caleb, 20, and Liv, 16, with husband Bart Freundlich – is a strong supporter of the #MeToo movement and the ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ actress thinks the movement will change the industry for the better.
Speaking on galvanizing change in the film industry, she said: "When all the #MeToo stuff started happening, an older gentleman said to me ‘I’m really worried that people aren’t going to hire women anymore because of this.’ And I went berserk. I said, ‘You know what? We’ll hire each other!’ "
