Joe Swash hasn’t introduced his son to Stacey Solomon yet.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star has been dating the 26-year-old singer for five months but he’s admitted he’s not rushing to introduce eight-year-old Harry, whom he has with his ex-fiancee Emma Sophocleous, to his new lover any time soon.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "She’s [Stacey] brilliant. We’ve been together four or five months. Harry hasn’t met Stacy yet. It’s something I want to take really slowly because there are a lot of emotions involved when it comes to kids so it’ll be a while before they meet."
But, although the couple like to keep their children separate from their relationship, they still manage to find ways to spend time alone together – even with their busy careers.
Joe explained: "I’ve been working a lot so we haven’t really seen each other a lot recently but any time we get together, we do sort of just chill out or go for dinner."
Meanwhile, the duo may be taking things slowly but the 34-year-old presenter hasn’t ruled out marriage in the future.
He added: "I don’t know if I’d want to get married… we’ll just have to see what the future holds."
Stacey has two children Zachary, eight, and Leighton, four, from two previous relationships.
