Jamie Dornan’s wife still hasn’t watched ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.
The 34-year-old actor portrays sex obsessed billionaire Christian Grey in the 2015 erotic thriller and the upcoming two sequels and the first movie in the franchise made him a global superstar.
However, Jamie’s songwriter spouse Amelia Warner doesn’t know what all the fuss is about because she has never seen him get hot and heavy with his co-star Dakota Johnson – who portrays Christian’s lover Anastasia Steele – in the movie.
When asked on the upcoming episode of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ how his wife feels about him playing such a sexy character with so many nude scenes, he replied: "My wife is one of the most brilliant human beings in the world. She hasn’t watched it. Why would she watch it? She wouldn’t put herself through that."
Jamie – who has two daughters with Amelia – has been busy filming the two sequels, ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and Fifty Shades Freed’, back-to-back.
The second film is to be released worldwide next Valentine’s Day (14.02.17) but he remained tight-lipped on whether he gets naked on screen.
He said: "I haven’t seen it so I don’t know … I don’t even know. I don’t know where the cameras were, I don’t bother myself with that, I just get on with it. At times you are…"
But stripping off is not something he cares about.
He said: "I don’t really care about that sort of stuff. I’m not nudist beach guy but I don’t really mind."
