Hugh Hefner’s brother has died.
The Playboy owner’s younger sibling Keith – who frequently featured on E! series ‘The Girls Next Door’ – reportedly passed away of unknown causes at his Beverly Hills home in California on Friday morning (08.04.16), TMZ reports.
Although the 87-year-old Playboy executive’s exact cause of death is yet to be announced, he had been battling with cancer and was seen looking frail leading up to his passing.
Upon hearing the tragic news, Kendra Wilkinson – who appeared on ‘The Girls Next Door’ from 2004 until 2009 – took to her Twitter account to pass on her condolences.
She wrote: "Just heard the news about Keith Hefner. He was such an awesome guy. I will miss him. (sic)"
Meanwhile, despite nearing the end of his life, Keith didn’t let his illness affect his spirit and was seen having fun on Snapchat with his wife Caya Ukkas on Tuesday (05.04.16).
Keith’s passing comes just a couple of months after The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky officially listed the Playboy Mansion on the market for $200 million.
Meanwhile, Hugh – who suffered a minor stroke in 1985 – is set to celebrate his 90th birthday today (09.04.16).
