Gemma Collins and Megan McKenna ‘lined up for Take Me Out special’

Gemma Collins and Megan McKenna are being lined up for the ‘Take Me Out’ celebrity special.
Show bosses are said to be keen to sign the ‘Only Way is Essex’ pair up for the special episode, in which ladies will come down the lift and choose their match rather than guys for the first time to celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary.
A TV insider said: "It is the tenth series of Take Me Out so we have two special episodes to celebrate.
"We’re going to have three famous ladies on the show who are determined to find their dream date, and Gemma and Megan are amongst the names bosses are keen to get."
Show host Paddy McGuinness will also have a say in who stars in the episode.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Paddy McGuiness will bring back thirty of his favourite male contestants and give them another chance at finding The One.
"The programme will also look back at all the love matches ‘Take Me Out’ has created."
Paddy previously confirmed the format of the show would be reversed for the 10th anniversary episode, and he is keen to carry on with the programme for as long as the producers want him.
He told BANG Showbiz: "We are doing a celebrity version but we are doing for the first time ever we’re reversing it so it’s going to be 30 guys behind the podiums and celebrity girls, we’ve just booked somebody and I can’t wait.
"As long as people want to find love I’ll be there, they’ll be wheeling me out! I’ve not had any botox yet but no doubt I will be doing it in about three years."
Gemma and Megan have both previously dated their co-stars, James ‘Arg’ Argent and Pete Wicks respectively.
