Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them sequel gets release date

A sequel to ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ will be released in November 2018.
The fantasy film – which is penned by J. K. Rowling and stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander – has got a release date for its second instalment.
A statement released by Warner Bros. to Variety.com said: "The film moves deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, where Newt and our other heroes have to decide on their allegiances. There is much more on the horizon."
David Yates will return to direct the film and whilst no casting decisions have been announced as of yet, it is a given that Redmayne will return for his lead role whilst Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler and Katherine Waterston are also expected to reprise their roles.
Meanwhile, Redmayne previously revealed his favourite part of filming the movie was acting on green screen and seeing the special effects added later.
He said: "When you’re (casting spells on set), the effects of this huge tension of what’s coming out of your wand is put (into the shot later) so you’re literally acting with nothing. I found it so operatic and deeply moving. I found it climatically satisfying."
And the 34-year-old actor secured the role as magizoologist Scamander in the film because he can bring "heart and compassion" to his characters.
Producer David Heyman said: "Newt is someone who can communicate better with his creatures than he does with people. He’s a Brit who finds himself in the US and the American magical universe is different to the British one.
"Eddie was our first choice. He’s very good at playing characters that are out of step, as it were, and bringing to them a real heart and compassion. He has a desire to bring truth to every moment. He’s very charming and appealing to men and women alike. And he’s a timeless actor, so he fits perfectly into 1920s New York."
The first ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ is slated for release on November 18, 2016.
