Former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star Chris Eubank has split from his second wife.
The 50-year-old boxer confessed that he and Claire Geary – who he wed in Las Vegas in 2014 – have reluctantly decided to end their marriage because they spend so much time apart.
During an appearance on ITV show ‘Loose Women’, Chris, who is training his professional boxer son Chris Eubank Jr, explained: "No one is really supposed to know about this. The fact is I’ve had to spend time with my son.
"My duty is and love is, as you know as a parent, it’s like that. I just would like to add, with Claire, I still love her, it’s only I have to look after my son, the long distance relationship just couldn’t work."
Claire lives in Dubai, while Chris works with his son in the UK.
Chris confirmed the split after it was reported earlier this week that the pair had split after not seeing each other in a year.
A source told The Sun: "Claire was in Dubai full time and so the relationship was doomed. The couple have moved on and both agree a divorce is right.
"There is no animosity and the couple will remain friends."
Chris has four children, Chris Jr., 27, Sebastian, 25, Emily, 23, and Joseph, 20, with his first wife Karron, who he split from in 2005.
