Catherine Tyldesley is married

Catherine Tyldesley has got married.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – known for playing blonde bombshell Eva Price in the long-running soap – tied the knot with her beau Tom Pitfield in a lavish ceremony at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire on May 21 in front of her family and friends.
She said of her big day: "It was my dream come true. I had been looking forward to this moment for so long. Tom and I are very traditional and it was important for us to show our deep commitment to each other. The night before I was so excited that I could hardly sleep for thinking about it, and when I walked in, the sight before me blew me away. It was picture perfect. There were scented candles and beautiful flowers – and most importantly of all, there was Tom."
The 32-year-old star – who has 14-month-old son Alfie with Tom – opted for a gorgeous off-the-shoulder white figure-hugging frock with delicate lace detailing across the bust.
Tom said of his beautiful bride: "She looked so beautiful. This lady changed my life the moment she walked into it."
The romantic occasion was made even more special by the fact her co-star Shayne Ward – who plays her on-screen boyfriend Aidan Connor – serenaded the happy couple with his version of US singer Bob Carlisle’s ‘Butterfly Kisses’.
The former ‘X Factor’ winner – who picked up the title in 2005 – told HELLO! magazine: "Cath asked me to sing it for her only a few weeks ago. I’m so happy and honoured I was able to do it for her."
The couple got engaged last August following three months of dating but knew instantly they were right for one another.
