Caroline Flack ‘jealous’ of new I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! NOW host

Caroline Flack will be "jealous" of whoever gets to host ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! NOW!’ this year.
The future of the jungle-based spin-off show is up in the air at the moment following the shock departure of host Laura Whitmore but, although Caroline would love to reclaim the helm, the 36-year-old beauty – who fronted the show from 2009 until 2011 – doesn’t think bosses will want her back.
She explained: "That was one of my favourite jobs, the jungle. I don’t know [if I’d return] – I don’t think that’s where they’d want to take the show. I’ll be very jealous of whoever takes over and does it. I was jealous of Laura for five years because I knew how much fun she had. It’s a great show."
And the brunette beauty believes Laura – who took over from Caroline in 2011 and hosted the chatty late night show for five years – probably felt it was her time to leave because bosses are keen to shake up the running order.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "I think the production want to change it, and that’s important. Laura was there for five years and fantastic – they didn’t get rid of her because they wanted to get rid of her – the show changes, she left."
Meanwhile, bosses are frantically trying to find someone to take Laura’s place as the host but Caroline thinks Joe Swash – who has co-presented since 2009 – should take it on solo.
She added: "Maybe get Joe Swash to host it on his own. Joe’s one of my favourite people I’ve worked with, hands down. It was brilliant to work with him."
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ will hit screens later this year when the main show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ returns for another series.
