Amber Gill won’t date Ovie Soko

Amber Gill says she will never date Ovie Soko.
The pair became firm friends in the ‘Love Island’ villa as Ovie helped Amber over her break-up with Michael Griffiths but Amber has called for fans to stop urging them to get together as she worries it will ruin their friendship.
Amber told Britain’s OK! magazine: "They are going to ruin the friendship. It’s a weird thing for me because he’s like my brother. I would prefer to have him as a friend. We have never really thought of each other like that – it’s a bit strange that everybody comments on it all the time. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, no, stop’."
And Amber – who was dumped by Greg O’Shea just 39 days after they left the show as the winning couple – insisted she has sworn off men for the foreseeable future.
She said: "I dealt with two boys over the summer, I don’t need to deal with any more right now. That’s enough to last me for the year. I am definitely off men for the minute.
"I’m happy by myself – definitely. I’m not looking for anything. I don’t have the time anymore to date to be honest, I’m happy where I am."
Speaking recently about the split, Greg and Amber gave different versions of why they broke up.
Greg said: "We’re mad about each other, what’s not to be mad about? She’s gorgeous, smart funny, she’s the Queen of ‘Love Island’ for a reason but you need to be realistic about the situation.
"She lives in the UK, every brand wants to work with her, every event wants her there, of course she deserves all of it and I decided to come back to Ireland and do my thing here."
However, Amber insisted it was not a mutual decision to split and Greg dumped her by text.
She said: "From my point of view I still wanted to make it work. There was a call a few days prior just chatting- not specifically to do with that. But definitely on that day it was like a text."
