All Saints’ Nicole and Natalie Appleton working on new music

Nicole and Natalie Appleton are working on news music.

The siblings – who are best known as members of girl group All Saints – have been back in the studio under their duo moniker Appleton, and they are planning to drop some new tunes next year.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “All Saints have been very open over the years about their bitter in-fighting but they all still really love music.

“The sisters have been in the studio recently working on new music and are hoping to put some out into the world in 2026.”

Natalie, 52, and Nicole, 50, recently signed up to perform at next year’s Mighty Hoopla under the name Appleton.

The source added: “They have a series of gigs booked already, including Mighty Hoopla festival in London next summer.”

Nicole and Natalie took to Instagram last week to tell fans about the festival performance, which will take place on May 30th at London’s Brockwell Park, and the pair are “so excited” to be back together as Appleton.

They wrote: “We are so excited to perform as Appleton again!! We will be joining the line up of next years @mightyhoopla on May 30th. Tickets on sale 10AM Tues 11th November. We hope to see you there! X (sic)”

Appleton have dropped just one studio album, Everything’s Eventual, in 2003.

It peaked at number nine on the UK charts, but a second record was axed after All Saints returned in 2006.

Appleton’s first single, Fantasy, peaked at number two in the UK chart, and their follow up song Don’t Worry hit number five.

Third single Everything Eventually also made the top 40, peaking at 38.

In September 2024, All Saints’ Melanie Blatt dashed hopes of a band reunion.

She told the Daily Star: “I’ll never say never, but right now we’re all doing our own thing. When we came back in 2014, we did two new albums.

“We were on top pretty much for eight years, so, you know, we’ve done it all. Shaz [Shaznay Lewis] is also releasing solo stuff, and it’s just amazing. So I’m here to support her at the moment, that’s my main focus.

“Also, I almost never want to go back on stage because I haven’t fallen, and I haven’t had a wardrobe malfunction. I’m scared if ever I go back, it’s bound to happen at some point.”

In June 2024, fellow band member Shaznay Lewis ruled out a reunion with the Never Ever group.

Speaking to the Metro’s 60 Seconds column, she said: “When you’re in a group, it’s such a specific thing, whether that’s a boy band, girl band, even a rock band.

“I got to the point where I realised that, as a writer, there were so many other things I’d like to do – scores for films or TV series. To be creative in many different spaces.

“I want to be daring enough to put those desires into practise, so that’s what I’m doing now. I’m writing for film, which is a new experience.”

All Saints haven’t released any new music since 2018 album Testament.
