AJ Pritchard: ‘Everyone falls in love’ with brother Curtis

AJ Pritchard says "everyone falls in love" with his brother Curtis Pritchard.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro’s younger sibling is currently on ‘Love Island’, and AJ, 24, admitted he "can’t wait" to see how things unfold for the 23-year-old hunk on the popular ITV2 dating show.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, he said: "I am so excited! Honestly my brother has always supported me through everything and I can’t wait to support him 100 per cent.
"He’s deprived me of my summer though but I just can’t wait. I think the best way to explain my brother is that he’s infectious and everybody falls in love with him.
"As soon as you watch the first episode, if he’s anything like the brother I see off camera, it’s going to be an entertaining show. I can’t wait to see it on camera."
The ballroom dancer also opened up about what he’s hoping for from the next series of the BBC competition, and revealed he would relish a challenge after being paired with Claudia Fragapane, Mollie King and Lauren Steadman so far.
He added: "Having had two Olympians, both very big personalities, and having a pop star with Mollie King.
"For me, someone who hasn’t danced before is a real challenge but it gives me something to work for. But I like the surprise. Literally on that live show, on that night, I have no idea who I am going to dance with.
"That spontaneous, adrenaline flowing through your body, that’s what I love about it. You don’t know what to expect. As long as the person is nice and wants to learn, I’m happy."
ITV’s Lorraine is on weekdays from 8.30am.
