Lemar eliminated from Dancing on Ice

Lemar has been eliminated from ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 39-year-old singer once again found himself in the dreaded skate-off against Donna Air – but he couldn’t do enough this time around to retain his place on the ITV show.
Following the announcement, the musician – who first achieved fame on the back of his appearances on the BBC talent show ‘Fame Academy’ – said: "Thank you to every single person back stage, all the production and all of ITV. It was a great opportunity."
The Brit Award-winning singer performed to Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida’, but the judges instead voted to save Donna, who performed to ‘Time After Time’ by Cyndi Lauper during the Valentine’s-themed episode.
Earlier in the evening, the judges suggested Donna would’ve achieved better scores if she was prepared to perform more of her routine without relying on her professional partner.
Ashley Banjo told her: "I need you to start skating on your own more. When you do that you’ll get bigger marks."
Meanwhile, Lemar previously admitted he was finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the stresses of finding himself near the bottom of the scoreboard week after week.
He shared: "The Monday is probably the hardest day because obviously you have been building up all week to give your all on the Sunday. And then, in our case at least, we’ve been in the bottom.
"Then there’s the happiness of getting through and then there’s the kind of like the downer of, ‘Oh, we were in the bottom two again.’
"Then that starts again on the Monday and you think, ‘Okay, well that was last week – how hard have I got to push this week in order to try and avoid the same thing?’"
