Britain’s Zara Phillips shared a joke with Tom Cruise at Glorious Goodwood yesterday (31.07.14).
The 33-year-old royal appeared in high spirits as she chatted animatedly with the Hollywood hunk at the race meeting in Chichester, West Sussex and at one point the pair stopped their chat to pose for pictures together.
And Zara – who attended the event without husband Mike Tindall or their six-month-old daughter Mia – wasn’t the only person Tom was pictured with, as he happily posed for selfies with fans throughout the day.
The 52-year-old actor – who was greeted by the Band of the Yorkshire Regiment playing the ‘Mission: Impossible’ theme – was a surprise guest on Ladies’ Day and presented a trophy to supermodel Edie Campbell, the winner of the Magnolia Cup.
The ‘Jack Reacher’ star was also seen cheering on the horses from the stands, though it is unclear whether he had bet or if any of his chosen picks won.
Zara was taking a break from her preparations for the World Equestrian Games, which take place in Normandy next month and will be attended by selectors for Team GB scouting for the 2016 Olympics.
