Diversity: We’ve lost touch with Simon Cowell

Diversity have lost touch with Simon Cowell.
The dance act, who rose to fame after winning 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009, are still in touch with other acts from the talent show but admit they don't see much of the show's boss.
Group member Jordan Banjo told BANG Showbiz: "In our year there was Flawless, another dance act, and we see them from time to time, they're really cool guys. It's really cool to see everyone from our year still going and still doing really well.
"[But] we don't see Simon Cowell that much. I'm going to be honest, he doesn't just pop out for lunch with us, but anytime we do see him he still says he loves what we do and he really enjoys it [watching us perform]."
Jordan feels the group were lucky to be able to make a difference to the UK street-dance scene and make money from their talent, as well as have support from family and friends during their time on the show.
Asked if he would give any advice to this year's contestants, he said: "There's certain times that there's going to be a lot of pressure. I think if you're a solo act in a show like 'Britain's Got Talent' it's always going to be really, really difficult.
"If I had any advice it's just to make sure your friends and family are around you and just do what you do best."
Diversity will be performing at UK Live, headlined by McBusted, in Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, June 28, and in Ipswich on Sunday, June 29. Visit uklive.co.uk for tickets, including combined packages for both days.

Alan Titchmarsh hits back at Paul O’Grady’s copy-cat claims

Alan Titchmarsh has shrugged off claims he copied Paul O'Grady's talk show ideas.
The 58-year-old comedian lashed out at the TV gardener recently stating that he and his team snatched 'The Paul O'Grady Show's structure, but Alan has since hit back, insisting the comments made him "smile".
Alan told The Sun newspaper: "I don't know where that came from but it made me smile.
"How a show is structured is entirely down to the producers, I just go on and do my job. Good luck to him.
"I don't bear him any animosity, but I don't know why he got so hot under the collar about it. If you can't say anything nice about someone don't say anything at all."
Meanwhile, Alan, 64, recently announced he is quitting his daytime chat show 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show' after seven years on the popular programme because he doesn't want to die young and miss out on his grandchildren growing up.
He said previously: "My dad died at 62 and I've outlived him. I just thought, 'Pace yourself, sunshine, don't go at it like a bull at a gate'.
"I'll never stop completely because I'd be bored rigid. But I think I should just ease up as I'd like to be around to see my grandchildren for quite a while."
The final series of 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show', which airs weekdays on ITV, will be filmed later this year.

Cheryl Cole wants Kim Kardashian on X Factor

Cheryl Cole wants Kim Kardashian to be a guest mentor on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Call My Name' hitmaker announced earlier this year that she'd be returning to her seat on the judging panel after a four year break from the ITV talent show, and it's now been revealed that she's been trying to persuade Simon Cowell to get the reality TV star involved.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Cheryl's been busy convincing Simon that while Kim isn't a singer, she'd be a great mentor because she knows how to handle fame.
"The idea is that Kim would fly over and give special media training to the acts towards the end of the show.
"And obviously Simon realises that the inevitable publicity would do the ratings no harm."
However, it's been suggested that Cheryl, 30, also has her own intentions when it comes to wanting her American pal - who recently appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine with her fiancé Kanye West - to feature on the show.
The source explained: "Cheryl is no doubt thinking that if she swings it for Kim, then Kim will probably repay her by endorsing one of her acts.
"Cheryl is desperate to win this year. She feels like she has something to prove to Simon and the British public."

Tom Baker is happy Doctor Who cameo upset former stars

Tom Baker is pleased his appearance in the 'Doctor Who' 50th anniversary special upset some of the other former stars.
The 80-year-old actor - who portrayed the titular Time Lord from 1974 to 1981 - had a cameo role as The Curator opposite Matt Smith in last year's feature-length episode 'The Day of the Doctor', and he was the only classic Doctor to be asked back.
Tom mischievously claims his return was made even better by the idea it annoyed the actors from the sci-fi show's original run.
When asked by BANG Showbiz if he was aware his appearance in the special upset some ex-Doctors, he laughed: "Oh I hope so, yes! Thanks a lot for reminding me of that. That really pleased me."
Colin Baker - who portrayed the Sixth Doctor from 1984 to 1986 - previously complained he felt like a "second class citizen" when he discovered only Tom would be in the episode, adding: "All or none, that's what I would have thought."
Tom also revealed he had considered turning down his cameo in the 50th adventure but was persuaded to take part by the programme's former producer Caroline Skinner.
Speaking at an event to launch classic 'Doctor Who' stories on The Horror Channel, the eccentric star revealed: "Yeah I did contemplate not doing it, but I was persuaded by a girl called Caroline Skinner. She came to meet me in Rye in some little hotel and she begged me to be in it, and she's a very persuasive girl and she was very charming about it and said I could tamper with the script, so I said yes to her. Anyway then the script arrived a few months later and I didn't much care for the script so I rang the BBC and said, 'Listen get me Caroline Skinner. They said, 'Who?' I said, 'Is that the 'Doctor Who' production office?' They said, 'Yeah.' I replied, 'And you're asking me who Caroline Skinner is? She's the producer.' Then I heard, 'Oh I'm so sorry, she's not with us any more.' ... By that time I'd agreed to do it. But I'm not sorry now."
When asked if he knew whether the mysterious Curator was an older version of the Fourth Doctor or a new character, Tom quipped: "Typical of the BBC, nobody knows, he could be anyone, he could be the next Director General for all we know..."
'Doctor Who' kicks off on The Horror Channel this Friday (18.04.14) with the very first story 'An Unearthly Child', starring William Hartnell as the Doctor.
This will be followed by a special 'Who On Horror' weekend marathon featuring a story of each of the first seven Doctors shown in chronological order.

Lucy Watson: Spencer Matthews has ‘hold’ over Louise Thompson

'Made in Chelsea' star Lucy Watson believes Spencer Matthews has a "hold" over Louise Thompson.
The reality TV star - who briefly dated Spencer last year - feels sorry for the brunette beauty as the hunky lothario, who admitted to cheating on Louise last year, has the ability to worm his way back into her life.
Lucy told new! magazine: "She [Louise] and Spencer have so much history. She obviously cares about him a lot and wants to keep him in her life. I think he has a hold over her. We don't really speak about it because it's an awkward subject."
Meanwhile, Lucy recently split from her co-star Jamie Laing, who declared his love for her with a horse and carriage last Christmas, after he locked lips with a cheerleader while he was holidaying in Miami, but she admits their failed romance didn't surprise her.
She explained: "It was all over the press about who he was with in Barbados and Miami. I didn't want to be with him because I knew that's how he'd behave ... I just found it a bit embarrassing because of the way he openly declared his love for me."
Despite their turbulent relationship, Lucy insists she has rekindled a friendship with the McVities heir, but she's now determined to stay single for a while.
She added: "We're fine now and it's better for me this way. I enjoy being single."

Emmerdale’s Verity Rushworth: ‘Twists and turns’ for dying Donna Dingle

'Emmerdale' star Verity Rushworth has teased there will be more "twists and turns" for her character Donna Dingle.
Viewers were left stunned last week when the feisty policewoman admitted she was dying from a rare form of lung cancer and, although she's determined to hide the secret about her illness from the rest of the village, Verity admits it's set to get more "dramatic" before her death.
The 28-year-old actress, who left the soap in 2009 before returning last month, told The Sun newspaper: "It is very definite, but I couldn't say no to such an amazing and challenging storyline. It feels right. I played Donna for 12 years and it is closure. It's going to be so draining and challenging and then it gets much more dramatic. There are more twists and turns and gear-changes after this."
Donna knows she needs to tell her friends and family about her lung cancer - known as mesothelioma caused by asbestos exposure - but she doesn't want to upset her young daughter April.
Verity explained: "Donna knows she has to tell her family, but she doesn't want to upset everyone and dreads telling April. She wants to keep normality for as long as possible and she doesn't know how long she's got. As soon as people know, she will be 'Donna who is ill', and she hates the idea of April knowing."
Meanwhile, fans need to brace themselves for some heartbreaking episodes coming up as Donna begins to put together a memory box for April for when she's older.
Verity said: "She fills it with the perfume she wears, money for uni and a deposit, photos and videos, birthday cards until she is 21 -- scenes that are so sad. She's in a terrible situation."

The 'Only Way is Essex' star-turned-DJ has teamed up with a number of UK leading artists - including Tim Rockins and Sarah Maple - for the Helmets for Heroines Auction.
Lauren, who has supported Breast Cancer Care in the past, said: "Helmets for Heroines is a fantastic campaign to be a part of, I've created my own DJ-inspired motorcycle helmet with a Lauren Pope twist. Lauren Goodger slams rumours of make-belief boyfriend

Lauren Goodger has slammed rumours she's made up her boyfriend.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star, who is used to airing her love life in public, has been secretive about her latest lover, but she insists he's definitely real.
Writing in her column for new! magazine, Lauren said: "A magazine ran a story last week claiming I'm making up my new bloke. As if! I'm allowed to be secretive. I'm enjoying seeing him out of the limelight."
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old beauty posted a snap on her Instagram account last week whilst she was on a skiing holiday with a hunky male, but she's adamant that he is not her mystery boyfriend.
She explained: "I've been asked about a picture I posted of me posing with a dark-haired man on the slopes. People are speculating he's the mystery man I've been telling you about, but he's not. His name is Will and he is a personal trainer who was out at the same time as us so we all hung out together."
Lauren also took the opportunity to address rumours she was "terrified" her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean, whom she split from last year, was planning on joining 'TOWIE'.
She added: "This is absolute rubbish I wouldn't be bothered at all if he joined the show. 'TOWIE' is my past."

Helen Flanagan wants to try for a baby

Helen Flanagan wants to try for a baby this summer.
The former 'Coronation Street' star can't wait to start a family with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair, and she's planning on coming off her medication for her acne in a few months time to improve her chances of conceiving.
She told OK! magazine: "I would like to try at the end of summer, maybe.
"I'm on Accutane because I get quite bad acne - you can't get pregnant on the drug, and it takes a while to get out of your system."
She added: "I want to make sure I'm really, really, healthy before I try, check my hormones and stuff. I'm going to love being a mum."
The 23-year-old actress admits despite her rocky relationship with Scott, 24, which saw them briefly part ways last year amid allegations of him cheating on her, she insists he's The One for her.
She explained: "He is a genuinely a lovely person. Everyone that knows him says that he's a gentleman."
The couple have recently taken their relationship to the next level by moving in together, but the blonde beauty admits juggling their routines is proving challenging.
Helen said previously: "I get up early at six-o'clock in the morning, do a work out, set my day and do my emails. I'm a morning person basically. He gets up for training at 8:30am, so he's always like, 'Babe, the alarm!' I'm like, 'Oh, shut up and get up.'"
