Tim Wonnacott voted off Strictly Come Dancing

Tim Wonnacott has been eliminated from 'Strictly Come Dancing' tonight (19.10.14).
The antiques expert, 64, has become the latest celebrity to be given the boot from the Ballroom and Latin competition after he and his professional partner Natalie Lowe lost the dance-off against Mark Wright.
The 'Bargain Hunt' host and his stunning partner performed their Paso Doble to 'Simply the Best' by Tina Turner but failed to wow the judges with the aggressive routine as Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood unanimously chose to save the reality TV star and his partner Karen Hauer.
Speaking after the result, Tim said: "It's a great treat to be on a programme like 'Strictly.' For an old geezer like me, who comes along in his 64th year and he's slightly portly, and he thinks he's a bit over the hill, this last month, with this delightful teacher, has taken me to a very special place.
"I am fitter, I am a better person than I was a month ago as a result of this experience and I cannot tell you what a wonderful thing this whole programme is so I commend you all and thank you.
"I would like to say what a treat it's been. Thank-you very much, and thank-you to my lovely Nat."
'Strictly Come Dancing' will continue next Saturday at 6:30pm on BBC One.

Stephanie Nala and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello voted off X Factor

Stephanie Nala and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello were given the boot from 'The X Factor' tonight (19.10.14).
The 20-year-old beauty and the posh blonde were kicked off the ITV singing competition in a shock double-eviction after they failed to win over the audience with their performances last night (18.10.14).
Stephanie, who was in the sing-off last week against Overload Generation, was the first to be given the axe after she received the lowest number of public votes.
Chloe-Jasmine then took to the stage for the sing-off against Stereo Kicks but she failed to secure a place in next week's show as judges Mel B, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell chose to save the eight-piece boy band.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who chose to save Chloe-Jasmine in the sing-off, was visibly upset to lose two acts from her category in tonight's programme.
Speaking afterwards, Chloe-Jasmine praised her mentor and thanked her for choosing to put her through to the live shows following a tough boot camp.
She said of leaving the competition just two weeks in: "Don't worry about it! Cheryl, you are absolutely wonderful, thank you for taking a chance on me."
Cheryl will now focus all of her attention on her remaining girls, Lauren Platt and Lola Saunders, who are fighting to succeed in the competition.
Meanwhile, the results show also featured live performances from Jessie J and Maroon 5.

Tina O’Brien gives birth to baby boy

Tina O'Brien has given birth to a baby boy.
The former 'Coronation Street' star, 31, and her boyfriend Adam Crofts welcomed the tiny tot into the world last week but they are yet to give him a name.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Tina and Adam are over the moon with their new arrival.
"They are a really down-to-earth couple and everyone in the area is delighted for them."
The stunning star - who was known for playing Sarah-Louise Platt in the ITV soap from 1999 until 2007 - announced earlier this year that she was pregnant with her and personal trainer Adam's first baby.
She posted a picture of an ultrasound in March, which was accompanied with the message: "So @adstraining85 and I have some lovely news..."
Tina also admitted at the time that she couldn't wait for her five-year-old daughter Scarlett - whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Thomas - to become a sister.
After a series of congratulatory messages from both co-stars and fans,Tina tweeted: "Thanks for your lovely comments we are so happy! Can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Scarlett to boss around (sic)."
The blonde beauty has been dating Adam for three years and just one year into their relationship, Tina admitted she could see herself marrying the hunk.
She said two years ago: "Adam is all of the things I want in a man. He is wonderful, very, very caring and supportive and he makes me happy. It's hard to explain how special he is, but I know he's got my back.
"And I fancy the pants off him too - which always helps. Do I want to get married again? Yeah, maybe..."

Jonathan Ross to quit chat show

Jonathan Ross doesn't expect to be handed a new series of his ITV chat show.
The 53-year-old presenter kicked off his latest series of the programme last night (18.10.14), with a show featuring 'The X Factor' judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B, but it appears the ever-popular host is, apparently, already considering different career options.
A source close to the presenter told Mirror Online: "Jonathan is resigned to his ITV1 chat show coming to an end.
"He has made it clear that he wants to do other things, he has nothing left to prove. Money isn't the issue - it is about what he wants to do with his life."
Another factor in his decision is the death of his agent and close friend Addison Cresswell last December.
The friend continued: "Addison's death was a huge blow. It certainly got Jonathan looking at his own life. He wants to spend more time with his family and do some travelling."
Jonathan is married to successful screenwriter Jane Goldman, 44, who can boast hits such as 'X-Men: First Class' and 'Kick-Ass'.
The friend said the married couple - who are the parents of Betty, 23, Harvey, 20, and Honey, 17 - could spend more of their time in the US.
The source added: "Jane's career is really taking off in America and they both fancy travelling more, now the kids are older.
"They might spend some of the year in Hollywood, and Jonathan loves Japan."

Lynda Bellingham makes final appearance on Loose Women

Lynda Bellingham was given a standing ovation from the 'Loose Women' studio audience as she arrived on set for the final time.
The actress, who has terminal bowel cancer and just weeks to live, filmed her final appearance on the popular ITV show - which will air on Wednesday (23.10.14) - and was interviewed by her former co-hosts Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter, the Sunday People reports.
Asked how she would like to be remembered, the 66 year old said: "Just as an honest person.
"We've been through this as 'Loose Women' - you can't do 'Loose Women' unless you're honest."
She continued: "You can't hide anything, it really is honest when we answer questions. That's why I felt I could write about it and know people would trust.
"Trust is a huge thing. Not just as an actor, not just as a lover, not just as a wife, that trust thing. Just to say 'you could trust her'."
The show was also attended by Lynda's husband Michael, 59, who cried as his wife talked about her decision to stop chemotherapy.
Lynda - who has two sons, Michael, 31, and Robbie, 26, and a stepson Bradley, 21 - thanked the public for their support ever since she was diagnosed with stage-four colon cancer in June 2013.

Lewis Bloor: I’m the ‘best looking geezer’ on The Only Way Is Essex

Lewis Bloor thinks he's the "best looking geezer" on 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The 24-year-old reality TV star has admitted to feeling more body conscious since joining the ITV show, but claims he doesn't worry about having as good a six-pack as some of the other members of the male cast because he knows he's more attractive.
Quizzed on whether he feels in competition with Dan Osborne and Mario Falcone, who often show off their muscles, he said: "In a way, but I believe I possess different qualities to them. There's a reason I'm on TOWIE and it's not because I have a six pack.
"I'm on there because I'm the best looking geezer. I'm on there because I'm intelligent. But I believe in competition. It's a healthy thing."
Lewis reiterated his carefree attitude by insisting that despite being made aware of his bad skin when he first joined the show, he doesn't let it bother him.
He explained to new! magazine: "I never realised I had skin problems until I first went on TOWIE and a lot of people started slating my skin.
"But I'm happier with the way I look now. I don't get stressed and I don't let it get to me, but the pressure is there."

Louis Walsh is ‘sulking’, says Simon Cowell

Louis Walsh is "sulking" because he's already lost two of his acts on 'The X Factor'.
That's according to Simon Cowell, who has hit back at his co-star in light of claims he's a bully, insisting Louis, 62, should focus more of his energy on helping his remaining acts rather than insulting the other judges.
Simon, 55, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis lost two acts and he's sulky.
"The whole point is if you're a mentor you got to keep your acts in the competition and it's pretty hard to lose two on the first show and he managed that.
"In fact, I don't think anyone has ever done that before. So he sort of made X Factor history!"
Louis needs to "raise his game", according to the show's creator, who warned that he could lose his remaining acts if he allows himself to be distracted by off-screen issues.
Simon added: "If he's not careful he could just be watching the show in the next two weeks."
'The X Factor' boss also took aim at fellow judge Mel B, expressing surprise at her description of Ben Haenow's performance last weekend as "boring".
Reflecting on the comments of the 39-year-old judge, Cowell said: "Look, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think some of her acts, personally, were more boring than Ben.
"I thought Jake [Quickenden] was more boring; I thought Paul [Akister] was more boring."

Nicole Scherzinger labels Alan Carr ‘dumb’ and ‘stupid’

Nicole Scherzinger has called TV chat show host Alan Carr "stupid" and "dumb".
The 36-year-old singer - who thought she was off mic - was heard making the remarks during the 'Stand Up for Cancer' live telethon on Chanel 4.
As the popular host auctioned off items on the show, Nicole - who has previously appeared as a judge on 'The X Factor' - was overheard saying: "He is so stupid."
She later said: "He is so dumb."
Among the items Carr was auctioning off was a cushion once sat on by Hollywood star Channing Tatum, as well as reality TV star Kim Kardashian West's giant thong.
However, a spokesperson for the 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer has since tried to downplay the incident, insisting Nicole was merely using "urban slang" and her remarks were not intended in an offensive way.
He told Mirror Online: "It's urban slang for when something is funny."
The spokesperson added: "Nicole was laughing when she said it and did not say it in offensive way. She is a big fan of Alan and was catching up with him after the show backstage."

Simon Cowell tips Ben Haenow to win The X Factor

Simon Cowell has tipped Ben Haenow to win 'The X Factor'.
The music mogul is so confident the hopeful, who is in his Over-25s category, is going to win the talent show this year he is encouraging fans of the series to place a £50 bet on him to triumph.
He said: "I've already got a winner and he's one of mine.
"But it's not who everyone is predicting. I'm guessing that Ben Haenow is going to surprise people - and I suggest you put £50 on him to win.
"But there are a handful of people who could take it.
"It's down to how they develop throughout the live shows and that makes far more of an eventful series for me."
Simon admits he is delighted to have returned as a judge on the UK version of the talent show and insists this year's panel - also made up of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh - is "perfect".
He added to HELLO! magazine: "I couldn't be happier to be back on the British show. There's something about it.
"Something I can't quite put my finger on that I just love. The panel is perfect, too."
