Louis Walsh is ‘sulking’, says Simon Cowell

Louis Walsh is "sulking" because he’s already lost two of his acts on ‘The X Factor’.

That’s according to Simon Cowell, who has hit back at his co-star in light of claims he’s a bully, insisting Louis, 62, should focus more of his energy on helping his remaining acts rather than insulting the other judges.

Simon, 55, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis lost two acts and he’s sulky.

"The whole point is if you’re a mentor you got to keep your acts in the competition and it’s pretty hard to lose two on the first show and he managed that.

"In fact, I don’t think anyone has ever done that before. So he sort of made X Factor history!"

Louis needs to "raise his game", according to the show’s creator, who warned that he could lose his remaining acts if he allows himself to be distracted by off-screen issues.

Simon added: "If he’s not careful he could just be watching the show in the next two weeks."

‘The X Factor’ boss also took aim at fellow judge Mel B, expressing surprise at her description of Ben Haenow’s performance last weekend as "boring".

Reflecting on the comments of the 39-year-old judge, Cowell said: "Look, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think some of her acts, personally, were more boring than Ben.

"I thought Jake [Quickenden] was more boring; I thought Paul [Akister] was more boring."
