Ben Haenow plans to propose

Ben Haenow will propose to his girlfriend "whether he wins 'The X Factor' or not".
The wannabe singer has denied rumours that he plans to get down on one knee if he wins 'The X Factor' this year, as he revealed that he intends to marry his long-term girlfriend Jessica Jones even if he doesn't win the ITV singing competition.
In an interview with Star magazine, Ben said: "Jessica and I have been together for six years so I'm going to marry her whether I win or not!"
The 29-year-old former van driver did admit that his girlfriend doesn't always appreciate it when Ben's female fans start showing him attention.
He told the mag: "It is a bit odd for her. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd find it quite hard, but she knows she's the one for me."
Ben - who is being mentored by Simon Cowell - then revealed the reason he's been keeping the fact that he's in a long-term relationship so quiet.
The crooner said: "I'm not going to bang on about the fact I'm in a relationship. on every show because it would get boring! But she's my muse - if I'm singing a romantic song I'll think of her."

Miranda Hart announces end of BBC sitcom

Miranda Hart has announced the two Christmas specials she is doing will mark the end of her eponymous BBC sitcom.
The 41-year-old comedian confirmed that 'Miranda' - which also stars the likes of Sarah Hadland, Tom Ellis and Patricia Hodge, and first aired on the BBC in November 2009 - will conclude over the festive season.
Miranda - who's produced a book that gives fans of the show an insight to the sitcom - explained to BBC Radio 2: "I'm actually coming to the end of the whole sitcom. This is the first time I'm saying it out loud, so it's a bit weird!
"I'm doing two Christmas specials but they are going to be the finale of the show, full stop."
Miranda, who's earned four BAFTA nominations, three Royal Television Society awards and four British Comedy Awards for her appearances on the show, said the new book was her way of thanking the fans.
She explained: "I wanted to do a book to celebrate the series and celebrate all the people who have supported it and watched it. So they get to see the scripts and some backstage gossip and all that sort of thing."

Tina O’Brien returning to Coronation Street

Tina O'Brien is returning to 'Coronation Street'.
The 31-year-old actress is reprising her role as Sarah-Louise Platt, the daughter of Weatherfield stalwart Gail Platt (Helen Worth), and will make her comeback in early 2015.
In a statement, Tina said: "I am delighted to be returning. Sarah has a lot of history and unfinished business on the street and I'm looking forward to finding out what she's been up to and why she's returned home."
The star joined the series in 1999 and was immediately involved in a major storyline which saw her character get pregnant at the age of just 13.
Tina eventually left the show in 2007 and was written out when Sarah moved to Milan, Italy, to start a new life with her daughter Bethany working for her uncle Stephen.
Sarah will return to the Street with Bethany - who has become a rebellious teenager - and her comeback on the cobbles with cause a commotion for brothers Jason and Todd Grimshaw, whom she both dated, and her own siblings David Platt and Nick Tilsley.
The casting news comes just a few days after Tina and her boyfriend Adam Crofts welcomed their first child, a son, into the world.

Amy Childs is scared to drive again

Amy Childs is scared to drive following her car crash.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star was the victim of a terrifying car accident earlier this month (15.10.14) after her £140,000 Range Rover rolled over at a set of traffic lights, leaving her scared about getting behind the wheel again.
Talking to BANG Showbiz at last night's (22.10.14) MOBO Awards, Amy said: "I'm lucky to be alive. It's quite scary because I don't want to get in the car at the minute, but this week I've got to get in the car and start driving because otherwise I won't be driving."
However, the 24-year-old reality star - who looked happy and healthy as she posed on the red carpet ahead of the award ceremony at London's SSE Wembley Arena - has been getting plenty of support from her friends and family.
She said: "It was tragic. I've had amazing support from my friends and family. Obviously it's really hard talking about it. You don't want to keep bringing it up but I've been everywhere and everyone's like 'How're you doing?' and everything, but I'm here tonight!"

Kym Marsh’s tattoo mix up

Kym Marsh mistakenly had the word 'communist' tattooed on her lower back.
The 'Coronation Street' actress admitted to having an incorrect Chinese symbol permanently inked on her lower back after she failed to double check the translation.
Chatting to the ladies on 'Loose Women' today (23.10.14), Kym explained how her tattoo tribute to her first husband Jack Ryder had resulted in an embarrassing incident during dinner one night.
She said: "I got a Chinese symbol tattoo when they were popular. It was meant to say Jack, the name of my first husband, a few years later we went to a Chinese restaurant and I was wearing a low back dress and the waiter went, 'Ahh, communist!'"
Fellow 'LW' co-host Andrea McLean then quipped: "At least he didn't say, 'Ahh chicken chow mein!'"
The 38-year-old star - who is currently dating personal trainer Dan Hooper - has since covered up the incorrect tattoo with a host of inked butterflies.
Kym showed off her new body art shortly after her split from her second husband Jamie Lomas in January 2014.
At the time a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She wanted to mark the end of her marriage and the fresh start she has to look forward to.
"Butterflies seemed fitting because they emerge beautiful and new from the cocoon and symbolise new beginnings."

Alison Hammond plays ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ matchmaker

Alison Hammond wants to set Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff up on a date.
The 39-year-old television personality has revealed that she's happy to play cupid whilst competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and she even has her sights set on fellow competitor Simon and professional dancer Kristina.
Chatting on 'This Morning' today (23.10.14), Alison shared: "Well, there are two single people - Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff - and I wish there was a bit of romance between them two, but I don't think there is ... but wouldn't they be a great couple together?
"I'd love that to happen. I'm going to make that happen!"
One part of the process that the former 'Big Brother' star isn't loving are the uncomfortable dance shoes that she's forced to wear during rehearsals and the weekend live shows.
She said: "Literally walking around now, my feet are killing because the dance shoes are so thin, but I didn't realise and I spoke to Lisa Riley yesterday and she said, 'Ask for bigger soles.' So I'm going to make them a little bit bigger. And a bit more cushion!"
Although foot ache might not matter much if Alison survives this weekend, after she revealed that her Halloween routine will include flying.
She said: "I'd love to stay in for Halloween because apparently I might fly! I don't know if I was supposed to say that but if I'm in, I could fly ... oh no, I'm going to be in a lot of trouble!"

Roxy Shahidi’s husband proposed before they’d kissed

Roxy Shahidi's husband proposed to her before they'd even kissed.
The 'Emmerdale' actress has revealed that her husband Arsher Ali asked her to marry him after knowing her for just two weeks.
Roxy - who met her actor partner while performing at the National Theatre in 2007 - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He just looked me in the eye at a cast party and said, 'Will you marry me?' I didn't answer and he said, 'You will be my wife' and that was it.
"I didn't know quite what to make of it because I didn't know him that well. I knew that he liked me but we hadn't really said anything. We hadn't even kissed!"
However, things soon got serious between the pair and they made their vows to each other at a blessing in 2010, although she admitted that they have yet to legalise their union by signing the marriage register.
She said: "We'll get round to it at some point I just don't think it's a massive priority that's all."
"My mum came over from Ireland. My auntie came over from the States and all of his family came - it was lovely. We view ourselves as man and wife. I call him my husband."
Despite saying that she's not in a "mega-crazy rush" to start a family, Roxy, who currently plays Leyla Harding on the ITV soap opera, admitted that hanging out with her co-star Natalie Anderson (who plays Alicia Gallagher) and her son Freddie had left her feeling "broody".
She said: "I love Freddie. He's great. He does make me broody because we really get on with each other. I'm quite pleased he likes me."

Chloe Jasmine Whichello snubs Celebrity Big Brother offer

Chloe Jasmine Whichello has turned down the chance to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
The blonde beauty - who competed on this year's 'The X Factor' until she was voted off alongside fellow contestant Stephanie Nala last weekend - first rejected an offer by Channel 5 bosses to appear on the reality TV series prior to her stint on the competition earlier this year and is now said to have snubbed them again following her exit from the ITV show.
The 25-year-old model reportedly feared the competition would be too "stressful" for her and didn't want to feel "trapped" in the Big Brother house.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They made a really generous offer but Chloe decided that it isn't right for her.
"She's quite sensitive and was worried spending all that time trapped in the house would be stressful.
"She just didn't want to put herself through it, especially after the stress and pressures of 'The X Factor'. So she politely declined."
However, Chloe - who also starred on the reality modelling series 'The Face' last year - isn't ruling out a return to TV in the future if the "right show" came along.
The source explained: "It's not necessarily the case that she won't consider other shows in the future, but it'd have to be the right time and the right show."

Len Goodman blasts ‘copycat’ twerkers

Len Goodman has called out twerking celebrities describing them as "copycats".
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge has blasted singers and performers for plagiarising old dance routines.
Referring to Miley Cyrus' twerking, the 70-year-old television personality explained that the booty-shaking move has been stolen from the 1920s dance, the Charleston and that even Michael Jackson's famous moonwalk was borrowed from Afro American dancing.
Talking to the Daily Star newspaper, Len said: "It's nothing new.
"All these kids twerking and jerking - why are they doing that?"
The former professional dancer - who joined the 'Strictly' judging panel in 2004 - then revealed that he started dancing to get a girlfriend.
He told the newspaper: "Dancing was the place you went to meet girls.
"I didn't start dancing until I was 21. I used to play football and hurt my foot and I was hobbling about with my mates and suggested going to the pictures.
"But my mate said he was going ballroom dancing. He said, 'There's four boys and 30 girls.' So I said, 'I'll come.'"
