Claudia Winkleman has urged 'Strictly Come Dancing' viewers to "bear with her" as she returns to the show.
The 42-year-old presenter - who will resume her role as co-presenter tonight (22.11.14) alongside Tess Daly - will make her first appearance on the dancing show since her eight-year-old daughter suffered burns last month.
She tweeted: "I'm coming back to Strictly this weekend but am out of practice so please bear with me."
Claudia - who has stayed by her daughter's bedside ever since the accident on Halloween (31.10.14) - has thanked those who are caring for Matilda.
She wrote: "Firstly, a huge thank you to the incredible NHS doctors and nurses who are being extraordinary.
"We are bowled over by their kindness and brilliance. Matilda is doing well and although it will be a long road to recovery, she is getting the best possible care.
"Thank you so much for your lovely messages - they meant everything."
At the time of the incident, a spokesperson released a statement on behalf of Claudia - whose presenting role had been temporarily taken over by 'Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two' host, Zoe Ball - and her husband, Kris Thykier, reminding people of the dangers of fireworks.
It read: "Our daughter was involved in an accident on Friday night while celebrating Halloween. She is having the best care possible and we are hopeful of a full recovery ...
"We would like to take this opportunity to remind anyone taking part in fireworks parties or Guy Fawkes celebrations to be vigilant about the dangers of candles, open fires and fireworks and to be please have the appropriate safety measures in place and to hand."

'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' star Kendra Wilkinson failed her second bushtucker trial.
The former Playboy model was voted by the public to take part in the 'Cockroach Shaker' challenge but quit the trial after collecting just one star.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec on the ITV show, she said: "I can't do it, it's so gross, oh god get this s**t off me, hell no, I don't give a s**t right now.
"The smell and them crawling on you, I thought I could do something like this but I can't do it and I'm not disappointed that I couldn't do it."
Kendra - who successfully completed the previous bushtucker challenge, where she ate a whole host of unusual foods - knew that her fellow campers would be "disappointed" with her efforts but insisted she had reached her limit.
She said: "The camp will probably be a little disappointed, but I know how extreme that was.
"I only pull out when it's to my limit and that was my limit. I feel bad I let them down but I can't do that, it was too much."
After returning to camp, she branded the experience "the worst thing I've done" before telling her fellow celebrities that she only managed to secure one meal.

The 'X Factor' will lose another two contestants this weekend.
The ITV show has announced that its remaining seven contestants will be whittled down to just five in a double elimination.
The act with the least public votes will leave tonight (22.11.14) with a sing-off on Sunday (23.11.14), where another act will leave.
Simon Cowell is the only judge guaranteed to have at least one act remaining, following this weekend's double cut.
The 55-year-old media mogul still has three acts in the competition - Ben Haenow, Fleur East and Stevi Ritchie - whilst both Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini each have just one act remaining, Andrea Faustini and Lauren Platt respectively.
Louis Walsh has two groups left in the competition - eight-piece boy band, Stereo Kicks, and Only The Young.
The remaining seven contestants will sing Whitney Houston or Elton John tracks in a bid to secure their place in next week's show.
This is the show's second double elimination, following on from the Halloween-themed Fright Night earlier this month, which saw Jack Walton and Lola Saunders leave the competition.
Meanwhile, Stevi - who survived the sing-off last Sunday (16.11.14) against Jay James - thinks it's his time to leave the talent competition.
He recently said: "Whether it's Saturday or Sunday, I'll be one of the ones that goes this weekend."

Fleur East feels "pressure" because Simon Cowell lets her make her own decisions.
The 'X Factor' hopeful feels lucky that her mentor allows her to play a big part in selecting her performances each week, but as a result she knows it is her responsibility if things go wrong.
She said: "There have been a few weeks where other contestants have maybe complained about songs, but Simon always asks me.
"I feel a lot of pressure because, if it doesn't go well, it's on my shoulders, but at the same time I wouldn't leave with
any regrets.
"For instance, he thought the lift in the 'Thriller' performance was too much but I wanted to push myself so he said, 'OK,
if you're comfortable, you're the one on stage.'
"You need to earn his trust. Each time I overcome a challenge I feel like he trusts me a little bit more."
While Fleur is thankful for Simon's support, she initially wanted Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as her mentor.
She added to OK! magazine: "Initially I did want Cheryl, she was the only one backing me from the start.
"But now I've got Simon, I'm really happy and don't think I'd want anyone else.
"He's not a performer, but he knows what people want and what record labels want. That's what I need to hear. He
allows me to be myself - the singer I'd be outside the competition."

Lisa Faulkner would 'hate' to appear on 'Come Dine With Me'.
The actress and chef - who was crowned winner of 'Celebrity Masterchef' in 2010 - has confessed she would never appear on the Channel 4 reality show, which sees contestants host a dinner party at their home, as she doesn't want people "snooping" around her house.
The blonde beauty - who is currently starring alongside Rosemary Shrager and Matt Tebutt on Food Network UK's 'Kitchen Superheroes' - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I would hate to do 'Come Dine With Me' because I wouldn't want anyone snooping around my house."
However, the 42 year old admitted she would be open to cooking on the show for her former 'Holby City' co-stars Angela Griffin and Nicola Stevenson.
She said: "I would have my best friend Angela Griffin and Nicola Stevenson and probably my boyfriend, I know they'd be nice about my food because they all like it!
"I'd do some prawns for starters, then I'd do some sort of big beef wellington."
Lisa feels "lucky" to have learned everything she knows about creating delicious dishes from her mother and grandmother.
She said: "My mum was an amazing cook, she was brilliant and I pretty much learnt from her and my grandma.
"My mother was an amazing cook, all home cooked. She used to cook French Bluebell pudding as well which is hilarious because it was the '80s! All of her food was beautiful so I remember everything from a beautiful little salmon en croute, to ratatouille, to chicken tarragon, to shepherd's pie. I've learned to cook so many different things, I was very lucky."
'Kitchen Superheroes' is on weeknights at 6.30pm on Food Network UK (freeview 41, freesat 149, Sky 248, virgin 287)

Barbara Windsor is planning a return to 'EastEnders' for the show's 30th anniversary.
The iconic British actress is famed for playing Peggy Mitchell in the BBC One soap and hinted she and co-star Pam St. Clement - who starred as Pat Butcher - are both planning to return to Albert Square in 2015 to celebrate the show's birthday.
She told BANG Showbiz: "Yeah, of course! I'll be right in there, won't I! It'll be lovely to see everyone, and I spoke to Pam yesterday, Pam St. Clement, and she's going and we're going to do a little something."
The appearance will follow an episode in September when the star surprised viewers by reprising her role in the BBC soap in the lead up to her son Phil Mitchell's (Steve McFadden) ill-fated wedding to Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).
Celebrating her career spanning seven decades, the 77-year-old actress was honoured for her contribution to the Arts yesterday (20.11.14) when she was presented with an honorary doctorate by the University of East London at a ceremony at indigo at The O2.
Speaking of receiving the qualification she said: "Oh I'm so nervous! Me! I so can't believe it.
"I keep thinking my mum's looking down on me going, 'Oh, see I knew you'd do well in the end, girl!'
"She was quite a snob, my mum, and she always wanted me to speak posh and couldn't bare the fact that I played all of these Cockney roles. But yeah I'm so very, very honoured."
The star - who was appointed an MBE in 2000 - was born in Shoreditch, London in 1937 and has picked up numerous gongs throughout her career including the Lifetime Achievement Award at The British Soap Awards in 2009. Most recently she has been working on the follow-up to the 2010 Tim Burton movie 'Alice in Wonderland' in which she voices Mallymkun the dormouse.
Continuing to speak of her achievement, she added: "I'm in a business I absolutely love, and I've been doing it since I was 12 or 13, and I've done it all. I know there's 'Carry On's and 'EastEnders', but there's an awful lot more, and I love the business."

Gabby Logan is confident 'Splash!' will return after the Brazil 2016 Olympics.
The 41-year-old TV presenter hosted Tom Daley's celebrity diving show alongside Vernon Kay until it was cancelled in February after a two-series run, but she thinks it would be great if the programme had a "little break" and then returned to the small screen following the South American sporting spectacle.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's definitely not coming back at the moment. I think a lot of it is Tom's diary, next year is the year before the Olympics and his diary will start to get full up.
"The first year we did it was the year after the London 2012 Olympics so that was really good.
"It would be quite nice to give it a little break and then come back, maybe post-2016 Olympics across a week, we could do it every night for a week.
"The thing about 'Splash!' is it's not the same as 'Strictly' where you build up the relationship with the people.
"It's a different dynamic but I think it's still got some legs. Kids loved it and people were talking about it a lot."
Should 'Splash!' return then football fanatic Gabby would love to see David and Victoria Beckham take to the water, but failing that she would be just as happy if comedian John Bishop signed up to the show.
The blonde star - who is known for presenting numerous sporting events on TV, including deputising for current 'Match of the Day' host Gary Lineker - added: "I've always said that the ideal couple, which would never happen, would be David and Victoria Beckham. That would be my dream. Can you imagine the outfit Victoria would design?
"Failing that then someone like John Bishop, who is very sporty.
"I like jokers on it, people who have got a sense of humour. But the thing is, you can get jokers on it and then suddenly they start becoming really serious.
"Sometimes the most unlikely people make really good telly."
While Gabby - who has nine-year-old twins Reuben and Lois with husband Kenny Logan - is keen for 'Splash!' to return, she is very busy working in various jobs at the moment but admitted she enjoys the organisation that comes with juggling motherhood and her career.
Speaking while sharing her tips on work/life balance as part of Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 campaign, she said: "I remember looking at my mum before I had kids and thinking, 'How does she do all that stuff?' You have to be very organised, but I don't mind being organised."

Claudia Winkleman will return to 'Strictly Come Dancing' this weekend.
The 42-year-old television presenter will return to co-host the BBC One celebrity dance contest after missing the last three weeks due to her daughter being injured in an accident on Halloween (31.10.14).
Eight-year-old Matilda is believed to have been badly burnt after an incident involving a candle saw her spooky costume go up in flames and Claudia has been taking time off to care for her.
However, a BBC spokesperson has now confirmed to the Daily Mirror newspaper that she will return to present this weekend's live shows alongside co-host Tess Daly.
Claudia - who began hosting the main show after Sir Bruce Forsyth stepped down from the role earlier this year - was replaced by spin-off show 'It Takes Two' presenter Zoe Ball during her absence.
Last week - when the celebrities and their dance partners travelled to Blackpool to perform at the Tower Ballroom - Tess and Zoe took to Twitter to send their absent friend their best wishes.
Alongside a photograph of her and Zoe, Tess wrote: "Nearly time for #SCD live from Blackpool with the lovely @ZoeTheBall. @ClaudiaWinkle thinking of you xxxx (sic)."
Claudia was rumoured to be returning for the Blackpool show last week but it was later confirmed she was not yet ready to go back to work.
The brunette beauty also has sons Jake and Arthur with husband Kris Thykier.

James 'Arg' Argent will miss 'The Only Way Is Essex' Christmas special after being suspended.
James has reportedly been told that he will be excluded from the festive edition of the ITVBe show as producers debate whether the reality star should be allowed to return at all.
A source said: "Producers have told Arg he will not appear in the December one-off."
The insider added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It remains to be seen if he will be back for the next series, but he is at least sitting out the rest of this year."
The 26-year-old Essex lad was originally banned from 'TOWIE' amid claims he'd failed a drugs test in October.
Shortly before the accusation of drug taking broke, Arg was spotted arriving in Ibiza for the 'TOWIE' spin-off 'The Only Way Is Ibiza' covered in what looked like his own vomit.
Despite his rumoured absence from the Christmas special, the wannabe singer has been keeping his spirits up by learning how to drive and keeping fit in the gym.
Earlier this week (18.11.14), he wrote on Twitter: "Be afraid, be very afraid! I'm back on the road and not giving up this time! @noelgaughan is a brave man!! (sic)"
