Jeremy Jackson opened Chloe Goodman's robe because he's interested in fashion.
The 34-year-old star was removed from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house on the weekend after allegedly groping the 21-year-old beauty but he insists he didn't touch her skin and was simply keen to find out what bikini she was sporting.
He said: "My intentions were based on a relationship that Chloe and I had built regarding her swimming suits and how many of them she had and how many times she had changed them on the show.
"I toured the world producing fashion shows - that included bikini lines for five years, that included working with models and talking about fashion is something I do on a regular basis."
The former 'Baywatch' actor - who played David Hasselhoff's character Mitch Buchannon's son Hobie in the popular series - claims he didn't think he'd done anything wrong until he realised she wasn't wearing anything underneath the garment.
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning' he explained: "I was drunk with vomit on my face and I leaned to lift the robe to see here [touches his shoulder], to see the strap and, 'What bikini is this today?' And she didn't have a bikini on and that's when it turned into a naughty situation."
Jeremy - who has struggled with alcohol addiction in the past - confessed that while he thinks being drunk affected his good judgement, he believes he may have acted in the same way had he been sober.
He added: "I venture to say I might have done the same thing sober, yes. Although I was nauseous ... I can't blame it on alcohol. I made the decision, I made the action and the reaction was a bad one."
The troubled star now plans to "proceed with a little more caution and understanding" in the future and is hoping to apologise to Chloe face to face once the Channel 5 show comes to an end.

Binky Felstead is dating her ex-boyfriend Alex Mytton's good friend.
The 'Made In Chelsea' star claims his former flame - whom he split from after it was revealed he'd cheated on her multiple times - is now romancing his former housemate Charlie.
He shared: "She's happy in a new relationship with a new guy who is actually one of my friends."
Alex admits that while he had no issues with Binky over her new relationship, he did feel slightly betrayed by his pal as he failed to ask him if he was okay with it first.
He told OK! magazine: "I wasn't annoyed because obviously I was the one that messed up the relationship so she can do what she wants.
"He was actually a friend of mine that I lived with for quite a while so I was a bit annoyed that he didn't consult me. It was a bit of a low blow."
However, the reality TV favourite insists he's doesn't have time to worry about his ex as he's now focused on his own new relationship with model Nicole Hughes.
Alex explained: "I came off the back of what happened with Binks and I was kind of pretty traumatised by the whole experience.
"It was a massive thing to have it portrayed to the nation and family members. So I knew when I met Nicola I wasn't going to let that happen again.
"I've gone into this relationship and have just kept myself faithful. It feels great to be that way."

Ken Morley insists he's "not a racist".
The former 'Coronation Street' actor was removed from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house for using "unacceptable and offensive language" after using the word "negro" on two occasions and although he apologises for the upset he's caused, he's adamant he is not a racist and claims he was simply having "banter" with his housemates.
He said: "I put my hand up and say the word shouldn't be used but it is an old fashioned word. I apologise unreservedly to everybody who watched that programme. I apologise if I disappointed you by saying what I said.
"It was banter in an odd situation but I understand entirely that I've upset a lot of people from everywhere in the world ... I am not a racist, never have been. I taught black children in London and people everywhere so I apologise."
However, when questioned about using sexist language on the Channel 5 show, the 71-year-old star wasn't quite as apologetic.
Rather than saying sorry for causing offence by referring to housemate Cami Li as a "slut" or for saying both Cami and 'Ex on the Beach' beauty Chloe Goodman have some of "the best a***s he's ever seen", he instead claimed producers had edited out bad behaviour from other contestants.
Quizzed on what his wife said when he got home, Ken told ITV's 'Loose Women': "The thing is she understands some of the stuff that is about to come out and what is about to come out is very, very nasty and you haven't seen any of it."
Referring to the first night in the house, when the famous faces were still arriving, he added: "Cami Li came down the stairs, there were three of us there and we were all coming in, and she bit me. She bit me hard on the ear and I jumped and said, 'Why have you done that?' And she said, 'Because you like it'. Do you think you saw that? No you didn't and there's a lot more you didn't see."

Cami Li trained to become a lawyer after her sister was killed by a "career criminal".
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star surprised her reality show housemates by confessing she was a law student and it's now been revealed she decided to study the subject in a bid to get justice for her older sister, who was killed by a driver being chased by the police when Cami was just nine-years-old.
Cami shared: "It was 1996 - she was 21, I was aged nine. But the older and the younger sister are the closest, so it was very, very hard on me.
"That's why I wanted to become a lawyer because the injustice of that trial was just ridiculous. The guy was a career criminal.
"He stole a car, the police were chasing him, he ran a red light and he killed her.
"I took my law school admission test. I would love to pursue law but it would be very emotionally draining."
The 28-year-old beauty admits that while she is keen to complete her studies one day, she's worried she'd fall apart if she had to take on a case similar to her sisters.
She added to The Sun newspaper: "After what happened, I just keep imagining if there was a scenario like what happened with my sister, I'd get too emotionally involved."
However, US tattoo model Cami - who took a break from studying law after meeting former fiance Kirk Norcross - now has a master's degree in communication and hopes to pick up where she left off with her other studies in the future.

Sinead Tinker could be left paralysed after a mini-bus crash in 'Coronation Street'.
The Underworld employee - who is played by actress Katie McGlynn - is to be seriously injured after the vehicle transporting her and her factory colleagues is left hanging on the edge of a cliff and will only regain consciousness when she reaches the hospital, where she is left fearing the worst.
The 21-year-old star explained: "She's hospitalised and she eventually comes round when she's there. She's scared and I think she just wants answers, she wants to know how badly injured she is but I think she knows it's serious because she says she's in so much pain."
Katie explained that upon arriving at hospital, her on-screen character starts fretting about her health.
Asked what's going through Sinead's head at that point, Katie said: "She's really, really scared and she tells the doctor that she's scared stiff. She's really upset about it but she's relieved when [her boyfriend] Chesney [Sam Aston] comes in. It's really hard for her."
Sinead is subsequently told she'll need to undergo an operation, which will take her a long time to make a full recovery from.
Katie revealed: "[The doctors] ask her to tell them how much pain she's in and tell her that she's badly injured her back. She has some tests and the doctors tell her she needs an operation. She's so scared, she's really devastated that this has happened."

Helen Flanagan quit smoking the day she found out she was pregnant.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress has confessed to giving up the "disgusting" habit the moment she realised she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Scott Sinclair.
Quizzed on whether she'd quit, she said: "Yes, absolutely; since the day I found out I was pregnant I haven't had one cigarette. I think it's absolutely disgusting when women smoke when they're pregnant. I want my baby to have the best possible start it can."
The 24-year-old beauty - who has been eating ice lollies to curb her morning sickness since falling pregnant - admits she's trying to keep her fitness up despite her growing baby bump.
She explained: "I try and swim as much as I can. I usually swim an hour a day - however, I have cut down now I'm pregnant. I didn't go to the gym before I was pregnant so I'm not doing that, but I'm keeping fit by walking and swimming."
However, Helen has no plans to put on any "unnecessary weight" by eating too much, although she's not worried about going up a few dress sizes.
She told OK! magazine: "I've not put any weight on because I've been ill. I've got a little bump but I still feel slim and I still fit into my size 8 clothes. That might change but I can't worry about that.
"I'm going to be as healthy as I can but if I put weight on, I can't help that. I don't agree with the whole eating for two thing. My priority is the baby and my figure comes second, but I don't want to put on any unnecessary weight."

Damian Lewis sees similarities between himself and King Henry VIII.
The 43-year-old actor plays the infamous monarch in the BBC Two adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novel of the same name and was "alarmed" to find there were certain similarities between himself and the Tudor king.
He explained: "The more I read about Henry, the more I was happy - and alarmed - to find that I did share character traits with him. I suppose everyone else will be the judge of it, but certainly sitting in the clothes, it feels like a canny piece of casting, because I do find similarities between myself and him."
The 'Band of Brothers' star also admits being educated at the prestigious Eton boarding school gave him a thorough understanding of aristocratic life.
He said: "It think there's no question it helps having had the kind of schooling that I've had to play a king.
"Just the sort of court structures, hierarchies, the way they're set up. It's something I feel I implicitly understand."
Damian - who earned a Golden Globe and Emmy award for his role in 'Homeland' in 2013 - added that he is hoping to change the viewers' perception of Henry by painting a "more varied" portrait of the iconic king, who is often portrayed as being fat.
He told Radio Times magazine: "Actually the truth is, though it might be an odd thing to mention, that Henry had a 32-inch waist - and he remained that way for quite a long time. He was the pre-eminent sportsman in his court. He was much taller than anyone else. His beautiful, pale complexion was often remarked upon by commentators.
"And so I think what I've found is that the grandiose, more paranoid, self-indulgent, self-pitying, cruel Henry emerged in the period after this series.
"What we're trying to concentrate on is just to give a more varied portrait of Henry, and that's really how this is written."

Jeremy Jackson has apologised for "groping" Chloe Goodman.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant was removed from the reality TV house on Saturday (10.01.15) after allegedly attempting to open the dressing gown of fellow housemate, Chloe Goodman, and has now admitted his regret for the incident saying it was a "drunken joke".
He said: "It was a silly, childish, drunken joke. But I didn't touch her skin or paw her."
The actor - who is best known for playing Hobie Buchannon in 'Baywatch' as a youngster - has accepted a formal police caution for common assault over the incident, and has begged the 21-year-old model to "please forgive me".
He continued: "I want to apologise to Chloe. I'm so sorry.
"I never meant to cause any heartache or distress. That was the last thing I wanted. I feel terrible.
"Chloe was just trying to help me when it happened and if there was any way that I could make it up to her and we could be friends, then I would.
"I was saying sorry as she left the bathroom. But I'd still like to apologise properly and ask her to forgive me for hurting her feelings that night."
The 34-year-old actor has also taken the chance to tell his story of events from the alcohol-infused incident, confessing he was confused as to whether the 'Ex On the Beach' star was flirting with him.
He explained: "I was sitting on the bathroom floor wiping the vomit from my face, looking disgusting, when Chloe came in to check that I was OK.
"As she was helping me, she leaned over me and I pulled back the collar of her robe. I thought she had a bikini on underneath it but she didn't.
"I didn't see her full breast -- all I was thinking was, 'Which bikini do you have on and are you flirting with me?'
"The situation could have gone a million different ways but things happened the way they did, feelings got hurt."
Despite drinking what he describes as a "lethal cocktail" of beverages including gin, vodka, rum and wine, the former child star - who has been to rehab for alcoholism five times - said he cannot blame the drinks and accepts full responsibility for his behaviour.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It would be really easy to blame it all on the alcohol, but I'm not that cheap.
"It's my fault. I can't blame anything but me."

Charlotte Crosby says 'Geordie Shore' is "awful" without Vicky Pattison.
The 24-year-old reality star was devastated when her best pal quit the programme at the end of the last series and admits the dynamics in the house have completely changed without her friend.
She said: "We're filming the new season now and it's awful.
"She's the person who actually said the truth. She wouldn't pussyfoot around it - she'd be the one who would tell you if what you're doing is bad. Now there's no one in the house to do that, so everyone is getting away with murder.
"I'm too scared, I'd never tell them. She's a strong character, she looks after us all. Without her there, it feels weird."
Despite missing her friend, Charlotte has no plans to follow in her footsteps.
She vowed: "I'd never leave. I'll be there until the end."
Charlotte had an on/off relationship with Gary 'Gaz' Beadle and though she still has feelings for him, she now thinks he just uses her because it makes good viewing.
She told OK! magazine: "Gary's got a girlfriend, so that's that. I understand he's going to have a girlfriend at some point but I don't really like it.
"He's not in love with me. He just says it because that's what people want him to say. Scott Timlin thinks it's all for a storyline too, because people like hearing it.
"He says Gary uses me. When I told Gary that, he got so angry and kicked off and it got Scott in trouble. But now I think the same as Scott."
