Cami Li gets boot from Celebrity Big Brother

Cami Li was evicted from 'Celebrity Big Brother' tonight (02.02.15).
The 25-year-old American beauty was left speechless as she became the fifth celebrity to be given the boot from the Channel 5 reality TV show in a shock last-minute eviction.
Speaking after she left the house, Cami told the presenter Emma Willis about her experience: "I was a living nightmare but it was home. That place was so mentally draining."
Fans were not expecting an eviction in tonight's show but just one hour prior to the programme, Emma and co-host Rylan Clarke announced that one celebrity - Cami, Keith Chegwin, Perez Hilton or Katie Price - would be leaving the house within the hour.
Emma then broke into the house and announced that Cami would be leaving, before taking her by the hand and leading her to the door as the remaining celebrities debated about the decision.
Meanwhile, the stunning star believes Perez - with whom she has a fractious relationship - will make it to the final, despite his "manipulative" personality.
Asked when she first realised she disliked the American blogger, Cami replied: "I knew I was gonna love him or hate him. [I realised I disliked him when] he would talk to us like he was a journalist."
'Celebrity Big Brother' will return to screens tomorrow night (03.02.15) at 9PM on Channel 5.

Ross Kemp up for EastEnders return at ‘right time’

Ross Kemp is up for a return to 'EastEnders'.
The 50-year-old actor originally starred as cockney tough guy Grant Mitchell from 1990 until 1999 and he insists if the right storyline came up he would be up for coming back to Walford.
Speaking about whether he would ever return to the show, he said: "I've got no problems with going back there. It was 10 years of my life; some of it was happy, some of it wasn't so happy but I enjoyed most of it, or I wouldn't have stayed there so long. Yeah, if the opportunity comes along and it's the right time, definitely, why not."
Since initially leaving the BBC soap - which will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a week of live episodes later this month - the father-of-one has returned for two short stints in 2005 and 2006, but he admits his desire to stay away from the show comes from him not wanting to be defined by the role.
He told BBC Radio 2: "We like to pigeon-hole people, particularly in this country."
As well as appearing in 'EastEnders' Ross has garnered critical acclaim for his documentary series 'Ross Kemp on Gangs', but his former co-star Steve McFadden - who portrays his on-screen brother Phil Mitchell - remains keen for the investigative journalist to return to Walford.
Steve previously said: "I am up for Ross coming back. It would certainly be interesting."

Sharleen Spiteri fears she would commit murder on reality TV

Sharleen Spiteri fears she would commit murder if she took part in a reality TV show.
The outspoken frontwoman of pop/rock band Texas - who has 12-year-old daughter Misty with former partner Ashley Heath - is a fan of programmes such as 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' but finds the contestants so irritating she worries how she'd react if she were to take part herself.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "My daughter and I absolutely love 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', that's our big watch. We really love it, but in all honesty I would stick a pillow over some people's faces and sit on it and kill them in the night [if I was on the show], because they're so f**king annoying. I don't know why nobody ever says, 'Shut the f**k up!' "
The 47-year-old musician added that she would prefer to cause herself physical harm than appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
She said: "I would rather poke myself in the eye with a blunt stick, seriously. Can you imagine putting me in there?"
Sharleen is celebrating her band's upcoming 25th anniversary with the release of their new album 'Texas 25' on February 16.

Nadia Sawalha: Perez Hilton didn’t threaten Calum Best

Nadia Sawalha insists Perez Hilton didn't threaten Calum Best in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The former 'EastEnders' actress - who was evicted from the reality show on the weekend - has spoken out to defend her pal after he was given a formal warning for threatening to sexually assault the 33-year-old star.
During an argument, which was broadcast on Saturday (31.01.15) night's show, Calum gave up telling Perez to "be the d**k", to which he responded saying: "I will do, I'll be the huge d**k and I'll shove it up you're a**e."
However, Nadia claims the outspoken star was using the phrase as an insult and was in no way threatening his housemate, although she told him it was "unacceptable" all the same.
She said: "We're not Sonny and Cher. He's a grown man, he said what he said. I'm the only person in the house... I took him out in the garden and said, 'Why did you say that? That was unacceptable'.
"Everyone else ran off to their little corner and bitched about it, nobody said anything about it to his face.
"I'm just his friend I'm not his mother, I can't say, 'Right, you're going to go to bed and you're not going to have any dinner!' I said, 'That was really inappropriate, I don't know why you said that', but at the end of the day it wasn't a threat, it was an insult. That's what he did, he wasn't threatening it."
The 50-year-old star also claimed that despite being excluded by many of the housemates for her friendship with Perez, she wouldn't change anything about her time in the house and is adamant most of the good times she had weren't shown on television.
Speaking on her return to ITV's 'Loose Women' - on which she is a regular panellist - she said: "Ten hours of the day Perez and I had an amazing, hilarious time laughing and playing but if I was a producer...I'm not going to show that, that's boring.
"So I stand by... I take any criticism that I get but I know I wouldn't change a single thing I did because in the moment, moment by moment, it felt absolutely the right thing to do."

Anton du Beke jokes about taking over from Len Goodman

Anton du Beke has joked acting as a judge on the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour is his "audition" for Len Goodman's job.
The ballroom dancer claims he has no idea whether head judge Len will be stepping down from the BBC One show before the next series kicks off later this year but joked appearing on the judging panel on the current tour is giving him good practice.
Quizzed on whether he'd be taking over from Len, he told ITV's 'This Morning': "Well I know it's been said ... But I haven't heard any of this ... I don't know what Len's going to do. As far as I'm aware, I don't think Len's not going to be doing it, but if they asked..."
The 48-year-old star - who was partnered with tennis coach Judy Murray on the last series - added: "I'm doing a couple of guest [judging] spots on the 'Strictly' tour so they've probably got it from there.
"And it's lovely, it was lovely to be asked and to see it from the other side of the fence - but as far as I'm aware I don't know that Len's not doing it. They probably would have mentioned it [by now] but maybe [the tour] is my audition?"
Len, 70, recently confessed he has no plans to quit his job - which he does alongside his role as a judge on the American version 'Dancing with the Stars' - because it's "such an easy gig".
He said previously: "I love that show. 'Strictly' is fantastic and I love it. So as long as I can keep going, I will.
"And it's such an easy gig! A car picks you up and takes you to the studio, you sit there for a couple of hours saying, 'Keep your head up'. And then a car takes you home and then they pay you!"
Anton was also linked to Sir Bruce Forsyth's job after he stepped down as host of the show last year, however, co-host Tess Daly took over the role with Claudia Winkleman joining her.

Ted Robbins’ wife searching for doctor

Ted Robbins' wife wants to find the doctor that saved her husband's life.
The 59-year-old star collapsed whilst onstage during Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Nights' live show at Manchester Arena on Saturday (31.01.15) and a quick-thinking medic in the audience rushed to his aid.
His wife, Judy Robbins, wrote on Facebook: "We are so incredibly grateful for everyone's support and we would love more than anything to find out who the doctor was out of the audience who gave such fantastic treatment."
Thanking the star's fans, she added: "Thanks for all your lovely messages, it's very touching to know he is so loved. He will be fit and healthy again soon. God bless all the NHS staff that are doing such a fantastic job. Xx (sic)"
Judy also took to the social media site to give fans an update on her husband - who plays Den Perry in the comedy - saying that he is in "some pain" but is "doing well".
She wrote: "With Ted now in the hospital. He is in some pain due to bruising on his ribs from chest compressions but other than that he is doing well.
"Ted had rheumatic fever when he was a child which left him with some heart damage so we have always been aware that he would need a routine procedure to correct."

Pam St Clement’s troubled childhood

Pam St Clement had a troubled childhood.
The former 'EastEnders' star has revealed her mother died when she was just 18-months-old before her father "disappeared" when she was just three years of age, leaving her in the care of her nanny.
She shared: "I close my eyes and try to visualise my mother, but I can't. I have no memory of her at all. She died of tuberculosis before she was 30 and I was 18 months old. She left me with her green Irish eyes and a faded photograph of herself...
"My father, Reginald, found it difficult to cope, so throughout my childhood I was foisted on others... When he wed his third wife, Mary, I was looked after by a nanny and didn't share their lives.
"Then they disappeared, leaving me and nanny alone. It became apparent I was an inconvenience so I was off-loaded. I was three years old."
The 72-year-old actress - who played Pat Butcher in the BBC One soap - admitted that things changed for her once she attended an all-girl secondary school in 1953.
She said: "I loved the regime. Acting was a passion and I was student president of the Drama Society."
Pam also admitted that during her first ten years on 'EastEnders', her weight "ballooned".
Writing in her autobiography, 'The End of an Earring', as obtained by the Daily Mirror newspaper, she wrote: "During the first 10 years of my time in 'EastEnders', my weight ballooned .
"I don't like having my main meal at work, so there was a great temptation to reward oneself with a big meal late in the evening, with a few glasses of alcohol. Maybe I am too indulgent but I definitely put on weight and retain it more easily than many people...
"I found a good fighting weight which I thought I could maintain and threw out my larger clothes. Fatties will know that's a mistake. Having worked so hard it's been disheartening to be putting on weight again."

Calum Best’s mum feared for his life

Calum Best's mum was "petrified" he'd drink himself to "death".
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star's mother Angie Best has revealed she feared for her son's life when he turned to partying and womanizing after his father, football legend George Best, died of kidney failure in 2005 following his struggles with alcoholism.
She said: "I was petrified for him. I just thought history was repeating itself and he was going to end up an alcoholic, drinking himself to death like his father."
Angie - who admits she was "disgusted" to hear gossip blogger Perez Hilton threaten to sexually assault her son on the Channel 5 reality show - is disappointed George never stepped up to be a good dad to their son.
She continued: "He [Calum] was very lost. All his life he had dreamed of bonding with his father, for his father to call him up and say, 'Come on holiday with me, come visit', and it never happened.
"But there was always hope.
"When he died all hope was gone. He chose to deal with that the only way he knew how - drinking."
However, Calum has overcome his demons and Angie is thrilled her son was strong enough to learn from his father's mistakes.
She added to The Sun newspaper: "Every day I feared the call would come, that he would hurt himself.
"It was a dreadful time and I'm so proud of him for having the strength of character to walk away from the situation a better man."
Meanwhile, Calum has reportedly been dating model Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack - who appeared on 'Made In Chelsea' in 2012 - "since last year", with insiders believing that's why he hasn't engaged in a showmance with fellow 'CBB' star Cami-Li.
A source shared: "Ianthe and Calum have been dating since last year, but have kept it quiet. He seems quite besotted and the feeling is mutual ... It's no surprise he brushed Cami off. Why go for a burger when you have steak at home?"

Max George and Jamelia for Mission Survive

Max George and Jamelia are among the stars taking part in 'Mission Survive'.
The former The Wanted singer and the 'Loose Women' panellist will appear in the upcoming ITV reality show in which Bear Grylls tests their ability to survive in the Central American rainforest.
They are joined by 'Silent Witness' actress Emilia Fox and her actor cousin Laurence Fox, former England rugby captain Mike Tindall, Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, 'Plebs' funnyman Tom Rosenthal and model Vogue Williams.
Grylls taught each of the celebrity contestants to search for shelter, water, fire and food as well as how to abseil down ferocious waterfalls, cross perilous rapids, trudge through swamps and negotiate razor sharp vines while contending with scorpions, snakes and sand flies for the show.
However, each week will see one of the stars sent home as they fail to complete the tasks set by the 'Born: Survivor: Bear Grylls' star to his satisfaction.
Max - who claims he doesn't "fear anything" - said of his decision to take part: "I thought it would be a lot of fun - especially all the outdoor activities. I have always been a Bear Grylls fan. For me, doing this was an absolute no brainer."
Jamelia, however, confessed she "hated the thought" of having to camp outside but decided to sign up to show her daughters Teja and Tiani that people should face their fears.
She shared: "It was such an amazing opportunity to do a show with Bear Grylls. I am such a home girl and thought this would be a wicked adventure. I wanted to prove myself and show my girls what I can do."
