Ferne McCann could have "died" after collapsing at the gym.
The 24-year-old star was rushed to hospital last month after suffering a fit when she fainted and hit her head after getting out of the Jacuzzi at her local gym and she's now revealed how the incident could have killed her.
She said: "I was lucky. If I'd passed out in the pool, I could easily have died. After 30 seconds I came around, but then felt myself jerking around uncontrollably."
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star - who received negative test results for epilepsy - believes she'd been working out too much in a bid to lose weight she'd gained over the festive season.
She confessed: "It had been two hours of exercising a day. It had been too much and it started to become an addiction."
However, Ferne admits that at first she believed she was pregnant with her and 23-year-old boyfriend Charlie Sim's baby and was devastated to learn that was not the case.
She told Now magazine: "When my friends heard I'd fainted they all thought I was pregnant... But then I took a test and it was negative. I was extremely disappointed."

Calum Best slams Perez Hilton for having "72 different" personalities in tonight's (03.02.15) episode of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 33-year-old star finally loses his cool with the gossip blogger - who threatened to sexually assault him during an argument on the weekend - after a heated discussion about Cami Li's eviction last night (02.02.15).
Responding to Perez's verdict on the eviction, Calum says: "What's your f**king problem?"
Perez replies saying, "I don't even like you, I'm just living with you", before accusing him of playing a game by staying on the sidelines throughout the past three weeks and not showing his true self.
Calum reacts, saying: "I am a genuine, honest, chilled out person ... No one likes you because you act like a d**khead!"
He adds that Perez has "72 different characters and plays up to the 'Perez Show' ... And that's why no one in this country likes you."
When Perez, 36, responds saying that Calum was "never" his "mate", the former model snaps, shouting: "Shut the f**k up you f**king power tripper. You're a piece of s**t and nobody likes you! Don't bother talking to me for the rest of the time, you ****!"
Michelle Visage - who has clashed with Perez on numerous occasions in the house - later congratulates Calum for standing up for himself, while Kavana agrees, claiming Perez has returned to his "manipulative" ways.
He says: "Meek and mild Perez has gone back to absolute f**king manipulative crazy lunatic and is riling up the gentlest, kindest most real people in the house."

Danniella Westbrook has returned to therapy.
The former 'EastEnders' star has decided to seek professional help from a therapist in Dublin following a difficult year during which she found herself homeless.
She shared on Twitter: "Gone back to therapy to strengthen my self. After a hectic year , it's been so helpful. And found the most amazing therapist in Dublin (sic)."
The actress began playing Samantha Mitchell in the BBC One soap in 1990 but was later dismissed due to her highly-publicised struggle with cocaine.
The 41-year-old mother-of-two was recently left devastated after breaking up with her 25-year-old boyfriend Tom Richards and later found him unconscious on her doorstep after he took a dangerous cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Danniella was absolutely horrified. Their relationship has been very fiery.
"She finally had the strength to end it properly but Tom is making things very difficult for her.
"She has enough problems of her own, having lost her home recently. She has children to care for and provide for."
In December, Danniella - who has 18-year-old son Kai and 13-year-old daughter Jody - was reported to be house-hunting with Tom in one of Britain's cheapest areas, Walton in Liverpool.
A friend of the star said: "Danniella loves Liverpool, she thinks the people are really friendly to her and genuine.
"She has lived in the city when working on Hollyoaks and feels a move might be good for her."

Cami Li thinks Nadia Sawalha was friends with Perez Hilton because no one else liked him.
The 27-year-old beauty believes Nadia would've continued her relationship with the gossip blogger no matter what, just to avoid being friends with other stars in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
Quizzed on whether it was sad to see Nadia go, Cami said: "With Nadia it was sad but it was bittersweet because I feel like she was being consumed by Perez's energy and I feel like she needed a rest from that.
"It got a little bit commercial towards the end in the sense that [she was like], I don't care what he does, he can take the piss out of me and I'm still going to be his friend.
"So he could've done anything and because no one liked him she would have stuck by him whereas at the beginning she genuinely liked him.
"So she might have not liked him in the end but because she knew no one liked him, she stood by him so she wouldn't be in the cool kid's crowd."
However, despite claiming she wanted to slit Perez's throat after she was voted off the Channel 5 show last night (02.02.15), Cami admits she wouldn't change any of the celebrities she was in there with.
She shared: "I would do it all over again with all the housemates. If he had a muzzle, even Perez ... Did you see what he does? He goes, 'I don't wanna be in the house', but then he puts cheese up his nose, 'I don't wanna be in the house', but then he comes out with his underwear on, 'I don't wanna be in the house', then he does interpretive dancing - so it's entertaining to watch.
"It's like 80s porn - it's really bad but you can't take your eyes off of it."

Coronation Street's Sarah-Louise Platt is to fall in love with drug dealer Callum Logan on her return to Weatherfield.
Sarah - who's played by actress Tina O'Brien - will initially attempt to take her troublesome teenage daughter Bethany back to Milan, Italy after she runs away but will be convinced to stay by Callum (Sean Ward), who tells Sarah her future lies in Weatherfield.
Stuart Blackburn, the show's producer, explained that the romance will lead to trouble for Sarah-Louise's younger brother David (Jack P. Shepherd), who is the stepfather of Calum's son Max.
He revealed: "Very quickly, Callum takes a real liking to Sarah. And it's a liking that's returned. So there'll be huge problems for David.
"David's got his own massive problems. Callum has taken a real liking to Max. And Max is his biological son. He's got almost as many rights to Max as David does."
Meanwhile, Lucy Fallon - who was recently cast as Bethany following following the decision to axe actress Katie Redford - has admitted she's nervous but excited to make her on-screen debut in late March.
The 19-year-old actress shared: "Walking onto the set was surreal and nerve wracking but everyone has been really welcoming and I am thrilled to have been given this great opportunity."

'EastEnders' boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins based the Carters on his own family.
The BBC One soap's executive producer has revealed he invented the characters Mick and Linda Carter, played by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright, after being inspired by his own parents.
He shared: "The Carters are my family. My father was an Irish immigrant named Michael Collins, my mother a hairdresser from Kilburn, named Linda. So Mick and Linda Carter."
The 37-year-old TV producer added that grumpy Stan Carter (Timothy West) is based on his grandfather while Mick and Linda's sons Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) and Johnny (Sam Strike) are him and his brother.
He explained: "Stan Carter is my granddad, a former Billingsgate fish porter who was a big powerful man and now sits in his chair still trying to rule the family.
"There is the difficult brother. I was the other son, like Johnny Carter. The story of him coming out as gay to his mum was my story, too."
Dominic - who has seen the soap go from strength to strength since taking over the realms last year - claims he's happy to continue in the job as long as he maintains creative control.
Speaking about the pressure to include more storylines about ethnicity, sexuality or disability, he added to Radio Times magazine: "As soon as someone starts imposing editorial decisions, we fight back, because we know what we're doing. The day I start box-ticking is the day I leave."

Katie Price gets a visit from her hairdresser every two days in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The 36-year-old former glamour model - who was paid £500,000 to appear on the Channel 5 series - has reportedly been receiving secret pampering sessions in the diary room to keep her hair looking perfect.
Celebrity hairstylist Mikey Kardashian is said to have been joining the brunette beauty at the house in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, to give her a wash and blow dry on alternate days with producers turning off the cameras to ensure fans remain in the dark about the visits.
A source said: "It took a long time to persuade Katie to do CBB and she came with a series of demands, including having her hairdresser regularly visit her in the house."
Her 'Celebrity Big Brother' co-stars - which include former 'The Apprentice' contestant Katie Hopkins and US blogger Perez Hilton - are said to be annoyed by the deal.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "Bosses agreed as they were desperate to have Katie on the show, but the other housemates are not thrilled about having to do their own hair while she looks salon ready all the time."
The news follows recent evictee Patsy Kensit's revelation that she had been enjoying spray tans during her stint on the show.
Asked if she'd had the treatments in the diary room, Patsy said: "No, not in the diary room. I was allowed to have two spray tans in three weeks because I look like I've got consumption when I go really white because I've got yellow in my skin and it's not a pretty sight."
However, she insisted she wasn't the only star receiving special treatment and claimed every contestant had joined the show with a "rider".
She said: "Everyone had a little sort of rider. I wasn't the only person that had something."

Sir David Attenborough was scared by a rat while sitting on the toilet.
The 88-year-old broadcaster has revealed the rodents are one of the few creatures he hates because of an unpleasant experience he had with one while he was suffering with an upset stomach during a recent trip.
Speaking at the launch of 'David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities' - which began last night (02.02.15) on Watch - he said: "I was in India recently and I am by and large not affected by tropical diseases but I did get a bit of the belly, you know, and I had to run to the loo. I was sitting on the loo and I did what I had to do and then I looked up and a rat came out from between my thighs. That is not endearing."
Despite the nauseating incident, the acclaimed documentary maker still finds animals just as fascinating as when he first began his career.
He explained: "I think understanding animals enriches your pleasure, finding out how to understand them is the great pleasure. I never stop reading books about man and animals; they're always full of interesting stuff. I'll turn the page and my eyes will be popping out."
The father-of-two added he believes he was lucky to become a broadcaster because otherwise he would have been a scientist, which is something he doesn't think he'd have been very good at.
When asked what he would have done if it wasn't for television, he said: "I suppose I would probably be a scientist. I'm not a scientist now. I almost was a scientist, but a scientist is someone who continues studying and finding out new things.
"We spend our time reading research done by actual scientists, and to be honest I don't think I have the concentration which that requires.
"For one scientist to sit down and say, 'I'm going to sit here and spend the next 10 years of my life looking at the habits of these bees as they pollinate this flower,' I would find that very hard."

Nadia Sawalha's husband questioned her friendship with Perez Hilton.
The 'Loose Women' panellist has been criticised for her relationship with the gossip blogger during her time in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house and she's now revealed even her husband, Mark Adderley, couldn't understand why she was friends with him.
She said: "My husband watched every single minute and watched every single Twitter and he is at this very moment so ill with the most terrible sore throat because of the stress of watching me go through what I was doing.
"He was running a campaign to get me out of the house. He said he couldn't understand what was going on with Perez and why I was friends with him but all he knew was that he couldn't possibly be seeing everything because he trusts me and it's the same with the 'Loose Women', they just wanted to know what was going on."
The 50-year-old star claims that while there were times she told Perez his behaviour was unacceptable, she believes the Channel 5 show is being edited to make him look worse than he is.
Nadia explained: "For ten hours of the day he was a perfectly funny, perfectly entertaining, rather flamboyant nutcase."
Quizzed on whether she thinks he will make time to see her once he gets out of the house, she added: "Absolutely, yes ... Nobody really saw our friendship, they only saw the arguments and the reason I was such good friends with Perez is because he was the smartest person in the house and therefore a brilliant conversationalist... When he wasn't going nuts."
Meanwhile, the mother-of-two has revealed she's planning to spend her 'CBB' pay cheque on a playroom for her daughters Maddy and Kiki.
She shared: "I'm going to have a playroom on the end of my kitchen. I'm having my kitchen extended and I'm going to have a playroom for my children. We can't wait, as soon as I came out my kids were like, 'Are we building it tomorrow?'"
