Sally Lindsay wants to return to Coronation Street

Sally Lindsay wants to return to 'Coronation Street' when she is 60.
The 41-year-old actress played Rovers Return barmaid Shelley Unwin from 2001 to 2006 and dreams of returning to Weatherfield for the final years of her career.
She said: "It's still one of my favourite jobs ever. I'd love to be like Betty [played by Betty Driver] and go back in my sixties and stay there until I'm 90.
"What a great retirement job that would be."
Sally can currently be seen starring with Max Beesley, Mackenzie Crook, Michelle Keegan, Jo Joyner and Jason Manford in 'Ordinary Lies' and had a great time filming the drama series.
She told Closer magazine: "We had such a laugh. Jason can't stop telling gags, Max is a real livewire and I've loved getting to know Jo - we always audition for the same roles, so it was nice to work together."
Away from work, the blonde star is trying to get in shape.
She said: "I've just hired a personal trainer - I want to be fit. I'm not bothered about weight loss.
"Last week, after training, I could barely walk, I was in so much pain."

Big Brother renewed for 3 years

'Big Brother' will run for "at least" another three years.
Channel 5 has confirmed it has renewed its UK rights deal with Endemol Shine UK meaning the reality TV series and celebrity version 'Celebrity Big Brother' will run until the end of 2018.
Under the terms of the new deal, the channel will broadcast one series of 'Big Brother' and two seasons of 'Celebrity Big Brother' each year.
Channel 5's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Dunthorne, who negotiated the deal extension, said: "Big Brother in all its guises brings a huge and varied cross section of viewers to Channel 5 and typifies the appointment-to-view programming we want on the channel.
"It remains one of TV's most talked about and popular programmes and I'm genuinely delighted we've secured it for at least three more years."
Nick Samwell-Smith, Managing Director of Initial - Endemol Shine UK's label , said: "Channel 5 is a fantastic home for 'Big Brother'.
"Over the past four years we've worked closely together to keep this extraordinary format feeling fresh, noisy, and creatively vibrant.
"I'm thrilled that this landmark deal means we can look forward to three more years of big characters and juicy storylines from inside our favourite house."
The move comes after the latest series of 'Celebrity Big Brother', which aired in January and starred Katie Price, Calum Best and Katie Hopkins, drew in record ratings averaging at 3.1 million per episode.

Diversity get slimed for Nickelodeon

Diversity have been slimed for Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards.
The dance troupe have received the ultimate Nickelodeon honour and been covered in green goo to celebrate the annual awards, which will be held at the Los Angeles' Forum on March 29, and member Ashley Banjo - whose brother Jordan is also a member of the troupe - admitted it was "hilarious" getting gunked.
He said: "I had an incredible time at last year's Kids' Choice Awards, so I'm beyond excited for Diversity to be a part of the show and perform for UK fans this year. Getting slimed was hilarious!
"We want to give a huge thanks to Nickelodeon for surprising us with one of its highest honours, although we think it's time my brother Jordan gets slimed, it's only fair."
Diversity have joined a star-studded list of previous slimees including Justin Bieber, Taylor Lautner, Katy Perry, Halle Berry, Nick Jonas, Harrison Ford, Orlando Bloom and Andy Murray.
The dancers were filming a special routine for the Kids' Choice Awards pre-show when they were treated to a surprise gunging at The Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent, south east England.
Jordan and fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely will once again be the UK's hosts for the awards ceremony, where they will bring viewers all the action from the orange carpet in the US.
The 'Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards' airs at 5pm on Sunday March 29 on Nickelodeon.

Oliver Proudlock: My ‘cute’ girlfriend is a ‘complete pig’

Oliver Proudlock calls his girlfriend "pig" because she is "cute" and loves to gorge on food.
The 'Made in Chelsea' star was joined by stunner Emma Connolly at the launch of his Serge DeNimes Spring/Summer 15 fashion collection last night (18.03.15), and while the hunk joked the model is a "complete pig", he also praised her for being "very fun and down to earth".
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "She's amazing, we get on so well. We're in a similar sort of industry, in fashion, creative. She's very fun and down to earth, she's amazing.
"We call each other pigs, just because we can occasionally be pigs and veg out and eat pizza.
"I should say one of the main reasons I call her pig is because she's very cute ... but then she's also a complete pig.
"She Instagrammed a photo of me the other day and put a pig nose on my nose."
Proudlock was also joined by his 'Made in Chelsea' co-star Stevie Johnson and Rizzle Kicks' Harley Sylvester at the bash and while he was delighted with the job done by the 12 male models who strutted their stuff at east London's Hoxton hotel, he hasn't ruled out Emma being a model on his upcoming Serge DeNimes women's collection.
He added: "We're about to release our first women's collection in April. We haven't decided on models yet but we'll see. Who knows?
"I want to build the brand organically, I don't want to just chuck it all out there. I want it to be a natural, organic process. Otherwise, it would be too much and you lose control."
Proudlock - who is currently training for the London Marathon, which he is running for the British Heart Foundation - wore a classic cap sleeved Serge top at the event and admitted that on his cheat days he is glad to have Emma by his side as they both love to munch popcorn and pizza.
The star - who is using cholesterol-reducing protein supplement Forza LipoWhey during his training - explained: "During the week I train really hard and I've been taking a lot of carbs and protein and then on the weekends I see it as my rest, sort of cheat days I guess.
"It's been nice to have a fellow pig by my side.
"I eat dark chocolate every night, I love pizza and popcorn as well."
Former 'Made in Chelsea' star Hugo Taylor also appeared at the event to support Proudlock and was clearly impressed with his former cast-mate's physique as he retweeted a Twitter message from last night's bash describing him as "so ripped".
Hugo, Stevie and other guests drank the latest vitamin infused spring water, AquaVita, at the star-studded event.
The Serge DeNimes Spring/Summer 15 collection launches online today (19.03.15) at SergeDeNimes.com.

Georgia May Foote will strip for right role

Georgia May Foote says she's ready to strip on screen now she's left 'Coronation Street'.
The 24-year-old actress' final scenes as young single mother Katy Armstrong on the soap will be shown this week and after five years in Weatherfield Georgia wants to play completely different characters.
And she insists if a role required her to shoot sex scenes she would not be too prudish to say no.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, she said: "I'm not really bothered about sex scenes or going topless. If it's something ground-breaking and worth it, that's what you have to do. But I am not going to say I'll whip my top off for the sake of it! I'll wait for the right part ... In terms of the acting I want to do in the future, it's not necessarily about the type of show - it's about a role that's intriguing and exciting ... A film would be unbelievable. That's my dream but we'll have to see."
Georgia recently signed a deal with Select Model Management - which also has Charli XCX, Kelly Brook and Pixie Geldof on their books - and she's looking forward to doing some photo shoots.
She said: "I'm going to concentrate on modelling a bit more. I'd rather be known for acting than modelling but it's a brilliant opportunity. And if something comes from it, that would be amazing."
In 'Corrie', Georgia's character Katy is going to live with her mother in Portugal with her son Joseph and although the actress is excited about doing something new she is grateful producer Stuart Blackburn has left the door open for her to return to the cobbles in the future.
She admitted: "It feels so strange to think I won't be part of 'Corrie' any more. I've been so used to it for such a long time. I'm sad to be leaving. But I am excited about the future. It's lovely they left the door open for me to come back because it doesn't feel that final. At the same time, I am not really planning to go back. I want to carry on doing other things."

Claudia Winkleman worried about Strictly role

Claudia Winkleman is worried about her 'Strictly Come Dancing' return.
The 43-year-old presenter - who hosts the BBC One series alongside Tess Daly - has confessed she is concerned about her future on the show as she is yet to be asked by bosses to front the series when it returns this autumn.
The brunette beauty - who took over from TV legend Sir Bruce Forsythe to present the show with Tess, 45, last year - told The Daily Star newspaper: "I don't know if I'm back. I'm not sure they've asked."
Claudia added she "adores" her co-star and has loved appearing on the series alongside her.
She joked: "I mount her at the end of most shows."
The TV personality was noticeably absent from a few episodes last year when her daughter was hospitalized following a freak accident.
Claudia was replaced by Zoe Ball, who presents the spin-off show 'Strictly: It Takes Two', although the former BBC Radio 1 DJ insists she has no interest in starring on the main series full time.
She said: "It was in the worst circumstances that I stood in for Claudia but everyone was very welcoming. It was great to be able to do that for a mate and Tess [Daly] was so supportive. I think 'It Takes Two' is my home and Tess and Claudia are the main hosts. But they know I am on call should they need me.
"They do such a great job the two of them together."

Richard Hammond and James May refuse to continue on Top Gear

Richard Hammond and James May have refused to continue presenting 'Top Gear' without Jeremy Clarkson.
The two co-hosts had been in discussions with BBC staff to finish the current series without their suspended co-star, but they rejected the offer by saying they wouldn't continue on the show without the controversial star which caused it to be taken off air.
A BBC executive revealed: "They didn't want to do it without Jeremy so the talks didn't get off the ground.
"There is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them."
The 54-year-old broadcaster was suspended from his position on the long-running driving programme earlier this month after he allegedly hit the show's producer Oisin Tymon over an argument about his dinner.
The fate of Jeremy's future on the show now lies with BBC Director General Tony Hall, but the source explained there is a huge amount of pressure to complete the investigation into the incident due to the public reaction to the news.
They told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We must play everything with a straight bat but it is very frustrating while Clarkson's friends continue to pour pressure on the BBC.
"Our priority has to be the person who has allegedly been attacked but we are between a rock and a hard place in all of this.
"There is no way everyone is going to be happy whatever is decided."

Michael Palin ‘not interested’ in Bake Off

Michael Palin is "not interested" in 'The Great British Bake Off' because he hates cooking shows.
The 'Monty Python' star can't understand why the rest of the country is so enamoured with the baking contest - judged by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood - because he finds it dull.
He said: "What makes me turn off? Cooking shows - 'The Great British Bake Off', I'm not interested. I realise there's something weird about that because the rest of the country is but I switch off 'Bake Off'. Well, I don't switch it off because I don't even switch it on!"
Palin has enjoyed a TV and film career that has spanned five decades and as well as his acting and comedy work with the Python troupe he is renowned for his travel documentaries.
Although he is now in his 70s, he has no plans to retire and will continue to work as long as he doesn't lose his teeth.
Speaking during a BAFTA hosted Q&A with Palin at the Princess Anne Theatre in London - hosted by David Walliams - he explained: "I want to keep my teeth and be able to walk. At this stage in your life you start to think a lot more about the physical side of things really, confronting one's self in the mirror every morning is quite a trial. I don't know whether to just give up - but I'm not. So it's keeping going on TV, that's what I'm going to try and do for the next 10 years."
Palin, 71, will reunite with the rest of the Monty Python members for the first time since their live shows last year on April 24 at a screening in New York to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Ben Hardy landing X-Men role was ‘tough’

Ben Hardy says it was a "tough" process landing a role in the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' movie.
The former 'EastEnders' star - who played Peter Beale in the soap - has confirmed he is starring in the new superhero film and says it took months of auditions for him to join the star-studded cast which includes Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "It was a long old process. It was tough going, so when I got the part it was a huge relief."
Ben has been back and forth to Los Angeles on several occasions since he first tried out for the film but he hasn't been too impressed with the buildings and streets of the city insisting it reminds him Albert Square.
He said: "LA is big, although Hollywood's not as glamorous as I thought, it's kind of grungy. It's not too much of a leap from 'EastEnders' in that sense."
Ben's currently unknown part in the big screen blockbuster will be his first role since leaving 'EastEnders' following the conclusion of the 'Who Killed Lucy Beale?' storyline which gripped the nation and ended with a series of live episodes in February.
The 24-year-old actor is very proud to have played a big part in the plot and is still full of admiration for Adam Woodyatt's performance as his on-screen dad Ian Beale in the episodes.
He explained: "Adam was incredible. That was scary. It was amazing to be a part of. I'm not sure I'll see anything like his performance for a long time. He got everyone to see his talent, which was great."
