Kieron Richardson is "in love more than ever" after getting married.
The 'Hollyoaks' actor tied the knot with his long-term boyfriend Carl Hyland in a lavish ceremony in the Peak District last month and he's revealed he now feels closer to him than ever before.
Speaking at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal yesterday (10.05.15), Kieron exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We got back off the honeymoon in the early hours of this morning so it's been a bit of a whirlwind to leave my new husband and then come straight here and we've got a very busy week this week.
"But we had a great time in Egypt on the honeymoon and we're in love more than ever. It's weird how marriage brings you together even more, that we went through this special thing together."
The 29-year-old star, who plays Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap, is looking forward to spending some more quality time with his new husband while on a break from filming.
Asked if he was planning to take time off, he explained: "Well I'm doing that right now ... Well not time off. I'm not filming this week but we're doing this and then we're leading up to the soap awards so it's like a huge tour of doing lots of things this week and then it's straight back to filming."

Nikki Sanderson would "never" rule out a return to 'Coronation Street'.
The 31-year-old actress, who played Candice Stowe in the ITV soap from 1999 to 2005, has confessed if she were to be written out of her current role as Maxine Minniver in 'Hollyoaks', she would definitely consider going back.
Speaking at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal, she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "'Coronation Street' will always have a really special place in my heart but at the moment I am very happy, I love where I work, I love the stories, I love the character, I love everything about it but if I was to be in a position where I wasn't in it anymore, never say never."
The brunette beauty also admitted it's been like a blast from the past to see her former on-screen best friend Tina O'Brien return to the soap as Sarah-Louise Platt.
Nikki shared: "I've seen a couple of episodes with her in and it's fantastic. I mean, I look at it and it's like going back in time, it really is and that's what we've said to each other looking at pictures of the pair of us from when we were children and it's fantastic, she's such a phenomenal actress that she's wasted when she's not performing."

Ferne McCann insists she and Charlie Sims are not back together.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star split from her long-term boyfriend earlier this year after he asked her to choose between him and the ITVBe show and although they were rumoured to have got back together, Ferne has now revealed she is definitely still single.
Asked if they'd rekindled their relationship, Ferne exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal: "No, no. I'm not back with Charlie ... I'm still single."
However, the 24-year-old beauty claims she and the deli owner - who broke up after months of arguments between her and his sister Chloe Sims - are still on speaking terms.
She explained: "I still speak to him as a friend. We were together for five years. I'm not going to invest that amount of time in someone and then just be like, 'Bye!' So yeah, we're cool."
Ferne - who walked the red carpet at the annual awards ceremony with close friend and co-star Lydia Bright - also confessed she'd never say never to reuniting with her ex.
Quizzed on whether seeing Lydia get back together with James 'Arg' Argent made her think they could make it work, Ferne added: "You never know!"
Charlie sparked rumours they'd got back together last week when he uploaded a photograph of the pair alongside a touching message on Instagram.
He wrote: "That exact moment when that person walks in the room.. And you want to say "I've missed you", but you don't! Because you know that is a complete understatement. @fernemccann #LongTime NoSee #SugarHut #BankHolidayMonday (sic)."

Anthony McPartlin has joked Simon Cowell is organising the strippers for Declan Donnelly's stag do.
The 39-year-old presenter is set to be the best man for his best pal and colleague Declan when he ties the knot with producer Ali Astall and he's now revealed their 'Britain's Got Talent' boss has been helping him with preparations for the bachelor party.
Asked if Simon was invited to the stag, Dec said: "He's the stripper isn't he?"
Ant corrected his fellow 'Saturday Night Takeaway' star, saying: "No, he's organising the strippers."
Dec - who revealed he asked Ant to be his best man "last year before Christmas" - also revealed he's feeling "good" about turning 40 later this year now that he's found the love of his life.
Asked how he was feeling ahead of the landmark birthday at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal, Dec said: "It's alright. It's 39 ish ... It's good. I feel better about turning 40 than I did about turning 30. [Why?] I don't know. Maybe I've matured a lot, I don't know.
"[Is it because you're in love?] Maybe, it could be because I'm getting married and all that's happening."
However, the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' host admits he's not been getting too involved in the plans for their nuptials.
He joked: "It's very stressful because I have to listen to her moaning that she's doing all the work and I'm doing nothing!
"Not it's great, Ali's fantastic at doing all of that stuff so I'm just going to turn up. I just have to make sure my suit's pressed and that I've got a ring."

Simon Cowell has said he and Louis Walsh will "always be friends", despite sacking him from 'The X Factor' this weekend.
The 55-year-old music mogul has taken to Twitter to confirm the news that the 62-year-old star will no longer be on the judging panel of the ITV show after 11 years, but revealed that the door will remain open for him.
He said: "Louis Walsh is one of the good guys. We will always be friends. The door remains open and who knows what's next....... (sic)"
Simon reportedly told Louis in person and they're said to be on good terms, as he is to be a judge on the music mogul's Irish version of ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent'.
Meanwhile, it looks like One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is being drafted in as a guest mentor for the 'X Factor', after talks about him becoming a permanent judge were scrapped due to the boy band's world tour.
The 23-year-old hunk has been put forward to aid Simon Cowell at the judges' houses stage of the competition.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Louis definitely won't be a judge this year. Simon, ITV bosses and show executives all agreed he would be the perfect judge but there is no way of making it happen.
"One Direction will be away on their world tour at the same time and it's just not possible. His name has instead been put forward as a mentor at Judges' Houses.
"Having a member of 1D on the show would be great for ratings. Sinitta won't be happy but Simon is the obvious judge to team him up with."

Lydia Bright insists she and James 'Arg' Argent are a "mature couple".
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star reunited with her childhood sweetheart earlier this year and claims they're now much more mature because they make hot drinks for one another in the morning.
Asked if she was nervous about arguing with Arg during filming for the Marbella special of the ITVBe show, Lydia exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the British Academy Television Awards at London's Theatre Royal: "Oh no, we're a very mature couple now, those things don't happen."
However, Lydia's pal and co-star Ferne McCann seemed unconvinced by her claim and asked what made her think that.
The 25-year-old beauty replied: "We are! When you talk about politics that's when you're mature. No, I think you become a mature couple when your boyfriend makes you tea in the morning, I think that shows that you're really grown up.
"Yes, when you start drinking tea and coffee in the morning that's it, you're grown up and he does, he makes me tea in the morning."

Michelle Keegan is "more excited" than nervous about getting married.
The 'Ordinary Lies' actress has revealed she can't wait to tie the knot with her fiance Mark Wright later this month after getting back from her luxurious hen party trip to Dubai last month.
Speaking at the British Television Academy Awards at London's Theatre Royal, she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I am, I'm very excited. I think it's natural to be a bit of both but I'm more excited."
The 27-year-old star - who is set to walk down the aisle in Norfolk in front of friends and family including Mark's 'The Only Way Is Essex' star sister Jess Wright and her former 'Coronation Street' co-star Brooke Vincent - is also looking forward to Mark getting back from his stag do holiday in Las Vegas.
She shared: "He's getting back in two days so I'm really excited to see him."
Asked if he'd been filling her in on all the juicy details, she added: "Yes and so have his mates and his family but I've been really busy this week, I've been working, so I've not really had time to think about what I'm doing from one day to the next."
Meanwhile, Mark is said to have narrowly avoided getting kicked out of his hotel when he pushed a security guard into the pool at the Encore Beach Club during a play fight.
While the guard in question is said to have taken it as friendly banter, the rest of the security team were less than impressed and gave the former 'TOWIE' star a stern talking to, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.

Nick Grimshaw is in negotiations to join 'The X Factor'.
The 30-year-old 'Radio 1 Breakfast Show' presenter is in talks to join the judging panel of the singing competition with a deal reportedly worth up to £1 million, as part of a bid for the show to appeal to a younger audience.
An insider said: "Grimmy is one of the most well connected men in showbiz and will make a brilliant judge. It's clear Cowell's hope is that he will attract new viewers and artists to the show.
"He feels fresher and more relevant than some of the previous judges."
The news comes just a day after it was revealed the show's veteran judge Louis Walsh, who has appeared in all 11 series', will not be returning, as part of a shake-up to refresh the primetime programme's format.
The source said: "Louis has been a great servant to the show but he is out of touch now compared to up and coming stars like Grimmy. The hope is Grimmy can come in and Louis will leave."
However, Nick's role on the Saturday night show is uncertain due to his contract with the BBC, which may stop him from taking part in the show on rival channel ITV.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There are complications because Grimmy has a Radio 1 contract with the BBC and will be working for ITV too.
"But everyone seems confident something can be worked out.
"The BBC will have mixed emotions. On one hand, he will be on ITV, on the other, it will raise the profile even more of his breakfast show on Radio 1."
