Sarah-Jane Crawford won’t return to Xtra Factor

Sarah-Jane Crawford has quit 'Xtra Factor' to work on new projects.
The 33-year-old presenter has revealed she will not be returning to 'The X Factor' spin-off show after just one year as host due to clashes with other work commitments.
She wrote on Twitter: Xtra Factor has been amazing, however I have a new project coming up this summer. And with all the changes happening, I won't be back...
"But I'm so excited to see the new line up and wanna wish them all the luck in the world ... Can't wait to watch them in action! (sic)"
The news comes after Dermot O'Leary was axed as host of the main show with former 'Xtra Factor' presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs hired as his replacements.
Louis Walsh has also been sacked from the judging panel as part of the show's revamp and it was decided Sarah could no longer give the show the attention it needed.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Sarah had two different meetings with 'X Factor' bosses and lots of discussions this week. Everyone decided that this was the best outcome.
"Sarah is really looking forward to the projects she is going to be starting this summer."

Bev Unwin returns to Coronation Street for Deirdre’s funeral

Bev Unwin is to return to 'Coronation Street' for Deirdre Barlow's funeral.
Susie Blake, who played Rovers Return barmaid Bev from 2003 to 2006, is set to reprise her role later this year in order to pay tribute to her pal, the late Anne Kirkbride.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's going to be emotional.
"Some of Deirdre's closest friends and her family will be there to pay their respects."
Susie was close friends with Anne, who played Deirdre in the ITV soap for over 40 years, before she tragically lost her battle with cancer earlier this year.
And the 65-year-old actress is one of a number of former castmates who will return in July to bid farewell to both Anne and her character in an on-screen funeral described as the equivalent of a state funeral.
Deirdre's stepson Peter Barlow, who is played by Chris Gascoyne, will also return to Weatherfield for the much loved character's send off.
It was unclear what would happen to Deirdre when the news of Anne's death first broke, however, 'Corrie' producers have since revealed that her husband David Beckett approved of their plan to pay tribute to her with a funeral for her long-running character.

Declan Donnelly: I wish my dad could be at my wedding

Declan Donnelly is devastated his late father won't get to see him tie the knot.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' host has confessed he's heartbroken his dad, who passed away aged 78 in 2011 after losing his battle with cancer, won't be there when he gets married to his fiancee Ali Astall.
He said: "There is always someone you are going to miss and for me it's my dad.
"I always hoped he would see me marry, but these things happen in life. I know he is proud of me.
"My mum will be there though and all my friends."
Dec - who, along with close pal Anthony McPartlin, makes up the presenting duo Ant & Dec - also revealed it was his father that encouraged him to audition for children's show 'Byker Grove' when he was just 12-years-old.
Meanwhile, the 39-year-old star admits he's happier than ever, with his wedding to Ali scheduled to take place early next year.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "This is the happiest I have ever been in my whole life.
"I'd like to fast-forward to that day. I felt that from the moment I met [Ali], I knew she was one."
However, Dec insists he and the 36-year-old producer aren't in a hurry when it comes to deciding whether or not they want to have children.
He added: "We are just taking it as it comes, there is no rush."

Mark Wright used intravenous drip on stag do

Mark Wright used an intravenous drip on his stag do.
The 'Take Me Out: The Gossip' presenter partied up such a storm in Las Vegas while celebrating his last days as a single man before tying the knot with former 'Coronation Street' actress Michelle Keegan later this month that he reportedly splashed out on Foundation of Youth treatments from a firm named Push IV for himself and all of his mates.
A source shared: "They are knackered, all of those days and nights drinking took its toll. They wanted to be able to carry on."
The 28-year-old hunk is said to have ordered the restorative fluids - which cost £160 each - on Saturday (09.05.15) morning after watching Calvin Harris DJ at Omina nightclub the night before so that they were rejuvenated in time for the Wet Republic pool party at the Encore hotel where they were staying.
Meanwhile, Mark narrowly avoided being kicked out of the hotel during the bash after being dared to push a bouncer into the pool.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Mark and the gang found it funny, but the security didn't. In the end, Mark was let off with a telling off."

Shayne Ward joins cast of Coronation Street

Shayne Ward has signed a one year contract for 'Coronation Street'.
The former 'X Factor' winner is set to join the ITV soap as Michelle Connor's distant cousin Aidan who grew up on the same estate as her and Carla and will arrive in Weatherfield in August after hearing that Carla is having problems in the factory.
He said: "On hearing the news I had been offered the part on the show I was in total disbelief. It still hasn't sunk in. Shayne Ward the lad from Manchester, given such a role on such an iconic show - it is an absolute dream come true. I'm excited to walk down those famous cobbles.
"My family and friends know just how much this means to me and I cannot wait to do them all proud. 2015 has been a great year for me so far and I look forward to joining the 'Coronation Street' family."
Aidan's arrival on the cobbles will set female hearts fluttering but he will also quickly make an enemy of Tracy Barlow's ex-husband Robert Preston, who is to be played by newcomer Tristan Gemmill
He is the first of the new Connor clan to arrive on the street and will be followed in the coming months by his dad and sister.
Producer Stuart Blackburn said: "When Shayne came in and auditioned we knew he was up against some very stiff competition. But he blew us away from the very get go delivering charm and a swagger that is perfect for the character. I can't wait to see him in action."
Shayne was first linked to a role in the soap after it was revealed former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding would be making a guest appearance in four episodes later this year.

Kym Marsh ends engagement

Kym Marsh has called off her engagement to Dan Hooper.
The 'Coronation Street' actress has decided to cancel plans to wed the personal trainer, 32, later this year because their "busy work lives" are making their relationship difficult.
A source said: "Kym and Dan have mutually decided to have a break.
"Their relationship has moved very quickly and both of them have very busy work lives which has unfortunately put pressure on them both."
The 38-year-old actress - who enjoyed an eight-month romance with the hunk before they got engaged in December - has now moved out of their shared home in Manchester, although they are still hoping to make amends.
The source continued: "They are both very much hoping to work through what is a very difficult time for them and get their relationship back on track as soon as possible.
"Dan has moved out for the time being but they are in constant contact with each other.
"They'd reached a stage where they both needed some space but things are very amicable."
Kym - who has been married twice and has children David, 19, Emilie, 17 and Polly, three - had planned to adopt another child with Dan, although the couple's plans now lie uncertain, with their families hoping they will quickly reconcile.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Dan's family and friends love Kym to bits so they're all just keeping their fingers crossed that they sort things out sooner rather than later. It's very much a temporary break, they've not split."

Amanda Mealing wants to go on MasterChef

Amanda Mealing wishes she could cook so she could go on 'MasterChef'.
The 'Casualty' actress has revealed if she were to take part in any reality show it would be the BBC cooking competition but admits she wouldn't do very well because she can't even make toast.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If I could cook I'd do 'MasterChef' but I'm really awful, I burn toast, but I really love it."
The 47-year-old star is also a huge fan of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and is jealous she can't follow in her co-star Sunetra Sarker's footsteps by taking part.
She explained: "Well I used to be a dancer so I don't think it would be allowed but I love 'Strictly' and obviously, having been a dancer, I really appreciate it, but I think that one's kind of out for me."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty revealed she was thrilled to dress up for the British Academy Television Awards because she's used to wearing her character Connie Beauchamp's doctor's uniform and, more recently, prison overalls.
She shared: "I'm really excited because I'm usually wearing scrubs and stuff or, at the moment, prison garb, so it's quite nice to get dressed up."
Amanda also admitted she'd like to get stuck into more "gritty" storylines after her character was arrested for murder last month.
She added: "I wouldn't mind if Connie got out a bit more and did a bit more action, I like getting in with the nitty gritty, I like the stunts and things."

Nikki Sanderson hopes Patrick Blake gets his ‘comeuppance’

Nikki Sanderson hopes Patrick Blake will get his "comeuppance" in 'Hollyoaks'.
The 31-year-old actress, who plays Maxine Minniver in the Channel 4 soap, has revealed she's keeping her fingers crossed that Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) will finally receive punishment after her character suffered domestic abuse at his hands.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'd like to think that he will [get what he deserves]. I don't even know at the moment but I like to think that he will just to show people watching the storyline that there is a way out and life does carry on if you can get out of that type of relationship. So, yeah, it would be nice to see him get his comeuppance."
The former 'Coronation Street' star also admitted that she's hoping for happier times ahead for Maxine after over a year of emotional trauma.
She explained: "You'd hope that Maxine's going to have a bit of a lighter future ahead of her but obviously with Patrick still being in the village she's going to still suffer at the hands of him - not physically anymore - but mentally and emotionally.
"Obviously they have a daughter together so he's using Minnie as a weapon against her so it's not going to get too good, too quick but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel for Maxine and you'll see a much happier Maxine eventually."
Meanwhile, Patrick was diagnosed with motor neurone disease earlier this year and will attempt to hide his condition in an attempt to win full custody of his daughter.

Prince Harry offered role in Game of Thrones

Prince Harry has been offered a role in 'Game of Thrones'.
The 30-year-old royal has been approached by HBO bosses to appear in the sixth series of the fantasy drama, although is yet to decide whether to accept the opportunity.
A source said: "Harry has been offered a cameo in the sixth series of 'Game Of Thrones', which starts filming in Northern Ireland this summer.
"At the moment he's not made a decision but the offer is on the table.
"There are plenty of opportunities for him to take up a role."
However, the prince - who is fifth in line for the throne after his father Prince Charles, brother Prince William, and his nephew and niece Prince George and Princess Charlotte - is reportedly unsure whether he can commit to the role due to his hectic schedule of royal engagements, despite the fact he is a "big fan" of the show.
The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The show is huge and there are plenty of A-listers queuing up for a cameo.
"But the creators won't offer one to just anyone. Harry is a big fan and loves the show. To have him on would be TV gold."
If Harry does take the role, he won't be the first royal visitor to the show's set, as his grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip toured the Paint Hall Studios in Belfast, where the show is filmed, as part of a three-day visit to the area in June last year.
