Louis Walsh didn't like last year's 'X Factor'.
The former judge - who was booted out by Simon Cowell earlier in the year - said he felt he had outlived the show after 10 years and "didn't love" the last series because he felt like he was "cracking up".
He said: "I loved doing the show for 10 years.
"I didn't love it last year if I'm really honest with you. I liked it and it paid me well but I think I was just there too long and I was cracking up a bit."
Meanwhile, the 63-year-old music manager shared what he thinks of new judges, Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and 'Body On Me' singer Rita Ora.
Louis thinks he would've "got on well" with Rita as he has spent time with her before and he thinks she is a "funny bunny".
He told Irish broadcaster's Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene on RTE: "I spent a lot of time with Rita. She's a funny, funny bunny. I would have got on well with her."
However, Louis didn't sound so sure about Nick, who he thought was a "strange choice" and said he "hopes he works out" because it will be "tough" during the live shows.
He added: "I think Nick Grimshaw is going to be okay. I thought it was a strange choice originally. I thought it was going to be Lionel Richie, and that would have been a good call.
"I hope he works out, it'll be tough during the live shows cause you really have to mentor them."
Nick and Rita join Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell on the panel.
'X Factor' is expected to begin at the end of August.

Cilla Black used to pretend to be an undertaker when on holiday with Paul O'Grady.
The 72-year-old presenter - who passed away earlier this month - and her friend regularly went away together and used to take pleasure in assuming false identities when chatting with tourists who didn't recognise them.
Writing a tribute article in honour of his friend, Paul recalled to HELLO! magazine: "We'd go away a couple of times a year to Barbados, Spain, Los Angeles, or New York.
"Americans would often join in when we were in restaurants talking loudly. They didn't have a clue who Cilla was, so if they asked, 'What do you guys do?' we'd invent different lives.
"I once said, 'She's a midwife'. Another time I said, 'We're undertakers' and Cilla sat with her mouth open. I added, 'And Cilla here is one of the finest embalmers in Europe.' She said, 'I am actually'. Then she'd sip her drink, unable to talk, crying with laughter."
Cilla was left devastated when her beloved husband Bobby Willis passed away in 1999 and convinced herself a pigeon she saw regularly was her late spouse keeping an eye on her - much to the amusement of her friend.
He added: "Bobby was everything to her. I was sitting on the roof with her once and this old pigeon landed, well past its sell-by date.
"She said. 'This pigeon keeps coming here, I think it's Bobby.'
"I looked at this thing, wing missing and said, 'The reason it keeps coming onto the roof is because it can't fly. When my time comes and you spot a manky old cat with one eye rooting around in the bin down some back alley, please don't say, 'Ah look, there's Paul.'
"But we'd scream about that pigeon. I'd call down, 'Cilla', Bobby's here.' "

Natalie Dormer vowed not to wear corsets so she wouldn't be "pigeonholed".
The 33-year-old actress has been restricted by the tight garments in her roles as Margaery Tyrell in 'Game of Thrones' and Anne Boleyn in 'The Tudors' but decided she didn't want to only be known only for starring in period dramas so decided to avoid them at all costs.
She said: "I'd made a small pledge to myself to keep away from corsets for a bit, because I didn't want to be pigeonholed."
However, she was soon offered the role of Seymour Worsley in BBC TV movie 'The Scandalous Lady W' about an 18th century sex scandal and couldn't resist the role because it is such a shocking tale, so gave up her self-imposed ban.
She explained: "You read the real-life details and find yourself saying, 'She did what? He did what to her?' I was just intrigued. And then I thought, you know, I could manage three weeks in a corset again. This is worth it. I'd like to tell Seymour's story."
But Natalie is unhappy with being associated with only one genre as she has starred in so many non-period dramas including playing a lawyer in 'Silk', Moriarty in 'Elementary' and Cressida in 'The Hunger Games' - the final installment of which will hit cinema screens in November.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "Look at my contemporaries - say, Keira Knightley, who played the Duchess of Devonshire [in 'The Duchess'], a contemporary of Lady Worsley, and Anna Karenina. She has played four or five historical characters. And I really haven't. It's weird, people's perceptions of me. It seems disproportionate of me being in costume drama."

He said at the time: "I was a bit gutted not to go to Marbs this year but, on reflection, having seen all the dramas they had out there it was probably a blessing in disguise.

'Great British Bake Off' favourite Marie Campbell has come under fire for having professional training.
Marie, 66, who was crowned star baker in the opening episode of the new series last week, has reportedly trained at Ecole Escoffier at the Ritz in Paris before signing up to take part in the BBC show, according to the Mail On Sunday.
The programme's rules state that contestants on the show - which stars Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood - 'cannot have ever worked full-time as a baker, cook or chef'.
But the paper claims that Marie also ran her own bakery, Mrs Campbell's Cupcakes, from her home in Perthshire, and sold her creations online.
A show spokesperson said: "There are strict criteria to taking part in the show and Marie met that criteria. She gained a certificate for one week's training in Paris in 1984."
The spokesperson added that the bakery was not Marie's main source of income.
Marie told the paper: "Love Productions [the producers of the programme] knew about my patisserie training, which was only for a week and was a long time ago."

'Coronation Street's Claire King claims a facelift saved her acting career.
The 52-year-old actress said that her career ground to a halt before she turned 50 but the radical plastic surgery led to a resurgence.
She told HELLO! magazine: "Although my older peers had warned me that when actresses reach the big 5-0, work often starts to dry up, I couldn't imagine it ever happening to me.
"But then, a few years before I'd even reached that landmark birthday, the phone stopped ringing. It was as sudden as a tap being turned off. I was devastated.
"When I looked at my double chin and sagging jawline, I was prepared to try a cosmetic procedure to improve my chances of being offered new parts in the job I Ioved.
"My life started to take off again. I felt happier and more upbeat."
While Claire, whose 'Coronation Street' character had a fling with younger man Nick Tilsley, could not be happier now, she admitted that having her career slow down was extremely tough.
She said: "It was the most vulnerable time of my life. It felt as if my industry didn't want me anymore, it hit me in the heart.
"I felt so low and unsure of myself that I didn't want to leave the house. Sometimes I couldn't even afford to - I didn't have enough money to fill the car with petrol."

Jeremy Vine has been confirmed for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter is the first contestant to be confirmed for the 13th series of the shows, which is set to kick off next month, revealing the news on Chris Evans' Radio 2 breakfast show.
He said: "They asked me and I just thought I just turned 50 this year I've got to start dancing properly. I can't go into the dad dancing.
"How could I say no to the biggest show in TV? Yes, yes, yes and yes again to the sequins and the Samba!"
The 50-year-old broadcaster hosts a daily programme on the radio station as well as being known for presenting BBC Two's 'Eggheads' and BBC One's 'Points Of View' on Sundays.
However, his daughters are not as excited about him appearing on the forthcoming series, with Jeremy joking they "jumped behind the sofa" when he revealed the news to them.
He added: "I just need to find some dancing shoes and identify my left foot. I am doing it for my two young daughters who jumped behind the sofa when I told them!
"It seems Dad on 'Strictly' is more scary than 'Doctor Who'!"
The series will be presented by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, with other competitors rumoured to be taking part including Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field and broadcasting duo Richard and Judy.

David Tennant is reportedly making a surprise return to 'Doctor Who'.
The 44-year-old actor - who played the 10th incarnation of the Time Lord in the sci-fi series - was spotted near the Cardiff set of the show, along with former showrunner Russell T Davies last week.
Current Doctor, Peter Capaldi - who replaced Matt Smith in the title role last year - appeared in the season four episode 'The Fires Of Pompeii' as Lucius Caecilius Iucundus.
David was playing the Doctor at the time.
There is speculation that David could be filming a special to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the show's revival by the BBC.
David famously returned to join Matt Smith alongside a host of other former Doctors in the 50th anniversary special.
Meanwhile, the BBC appeared to announce that the sci-fi series will continue for a 10th season, following the upcoming ninth series in their Worldwide Annual Review last month.
On the 32nd page of the document, matters listed as under review in the past year include "investments in 'The Musketeers' S3 and 'Doctor Who' S10".
And while it was announced in February that 'The Musketeers' - which stars Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera and Howard Charles - would be returning for a third series, this was the first official confirmation that there will be more episodes of 'Doctor Who'.
The ninth series of the hit show - which sees Peter reprise his role as the titular Time Lord alongside Jenna-Louise Coleman as his companion Clara Oswold - is set to launch on September 19 on BBC One.
It's believed the next series would air at some point in 2016 although it's unclear whether Coleman and Capaldi will be returning.

Kimberley Walsh sometimes chooses 'Strictly Come Dancing' over 'X Factor'.
Although the singer loves to support her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on 'X Factor', Kimberley admitted that she sometimes changes the channel to watch 'Strictly' if it's an exciting week.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Now Cheryl is back on 'X Factor', I have to watch both. So on Saturday night I'm really torn.
"Usually I watch 'X Factor' live, but I sometimes switch to 'Strictly' if it's an important week. Cheryl is fine about it - she knows I get obsessed with 'Strictly'! I absolutely love it."
Kimberley competed in 'Strictly' in 2012 where she and Denise van Outen were joint runners up after losing out to Louis Smith.
This year Cheryl and Simon Cowell have been joined on the 'X Factor' panel by Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora and Kimberley previously gave her opinion on both judges.
She compared Nick to Marmite, saying she can understand why he divides opinion.
She said: "He's a bit like Marmite - people love him or hate him. Maybe they're not giving him a chance because they haven't seen him on TV much. I think he'll be a good judge."
Meanwhile, Kimberley also backed the decision to add Rita to this year's judging panel.
She said: "Obviously we know what to expect with Rita because we've seen her on 'The Voice'. I think it's great that she and Cheryl are different characters but they get along well. And I'm excited about Nick because it's a different angle - coming from radio and bringing a non-performer's perspective is a totally new thing."
