Simon Cowell has branded Rita Ora a "diva".
The music mogul finds the 'R.I.P.' singer "adorable" and thinks the fact she has an "ego" makes her a much more fascinating person.
He said: "Rita is a diva, but adorable. I really do like her. I like people who have an ego and want to do well, it makes them more interesting.
"There is a side to Rita that I don't think people have seen yet, which is funny."
And Cheryl Fernandez-Versini thinks Rita and fellow newcomer Nick Grimshaw have made the show a lot more fun.
She told heat magazine: "It's a Saturday night entertainment show. Ultimately, the viewers want it to be fun. I'm enjoying the new panel."
The 'Only Human' singer has grown particularly close to Nick.
A source said: "Cheryl became obsessed with Nick after a week or so of filming - she started bombarding him with texts and calls. They have so much fun together. She never had fun with Louis [Walsh]."
Meanwhile, although the judges don't yet know who they will mentor on the live shows, Rita already knows who she wants to be responsible for.
She said: "I one hundred per cent know which category I want. I'm a girls' girl. But whoever I get, I will try to help them."

Ainsley Harriott is the second star to sign up for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The celebrity chef - who is best known as the host of cooking show 'Ready Steady Cook' - made a surprise appearance on 'The One Show' to reveal he will be taking part in the upcoming series of the BBC One dance contest.
He said: "I must admit that I do love to dance, but doing it in front of the nation is a whole different matter!
"In my day job the only type of salsa I know about is the one in my recipes so I am looking forward to rising to the challenge, bring it on!"
However, while the 58-year-old star may enjoy shaking his hips, he's confessed his experience is limited to "dancing around the kitchen with Suzy Salt and Percy Pepper".
Ainsley shared: "I'm most looking forward to the discipline and I admire the dedication it takes to be a good dancer."
The former 'Can't Cook, Won't Cook' presenter also revealed he has no plans to suck up to famously nasty judge Craig Revel Horwood.
He joked: "I won't be cooking any breakfast for Craig!"
The announcement comes after Jeremy Vine was revealed as the first contestant in this years competition.
The BBC Radio 2 and 'Eggheads' host said: "They asked me and I just thought I just turned 50 this year I've got to start dancing properly. I can't go into the dad dancing.
"How could I say no to the biggest show in TV? Yes, yes, yes and yes again to the sequins and the Samba!"
Other names rumoured to be appearing on the popular show later this year include Adrian Chiles, Tom Ellis, Angie Best and Richard Madeley.

Pregnancy has brought Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden closer together.
The 'Emmerdale' co-stars are expecting their second child together this year after a turbulent period in their lives and Charley, 27, said they couldn't be happier.
She told OK! magazine: "This pregnancy has definitely given us an even stronger bond."
Charley and Matthew, 35, first started dating in 2008 and got engaged in 2009.
However, three years after the birth of Buster, the couple split in 2013 before getting back together after staying friends.
And now they are back on track with Matthew revealing he hopes this second baby won't be their last.
He said: "We've always said we want a big family - I want my five-a-side football team - but that may change after the second one!"
And since Buster, five, is hoping for a little brother, the couple would be happy if this baby is a boy.
Charley said: "He's so desperate for a little brother, so we're kind of hoping we get a boy. I think there's something really special about having two of the same.
"It would be great to have a boy now and then a girl in the future. That would be perfect.
Speaking about having children together, Matthew said: "Having a child changes the dynamic of your relationship, but in a nice way. You have to become a team, which is a lovely thing."

Dermot O'Leary will host a new BBC TV show with The Stig.
The former 'X Factor' presenter has joined forces with 'Top Gear's stunt driver for 'The Getaway Car', a Saturday night programme which will see families compete against each other in driving challenges.
Dermot said: "This is a show that's really about relationships. We all think we are great drivers, but what tickled me most is seeing how people, who obviously love each other very much, speak to each other when they are behind the wheel of a car. It brings out the worst in all of us... but in a fun way. It's a warm show that will stretch a family's patience with those they love most in the world."
So far only the pilot has been filmed, with the full 12-part series set to air next year.
Dermot said: "I had a whale of a time doing the pilot and now can't wait to make the series."
The show is open to a wide range of people including couples, grandparents and grandchildren, siblings or best friends who work together. After they compete against each other, the winner will go up against The Stig.
BBC One Controller Charlotte Moore, said: "'The Getaway Car' is a really fun, new adrenaline charged entertainment show for BBC One. It's very exciting to welcome both Dermot O'Leary and The Stig to Saturday nights on BBC One."
'The Getaway Car' will be Dermot's first presenting role since he was replaced on 'The X Factor' by Caroline Flack and Olly Murs this year.

Shayne Ward wants to become 'Coronation Street's newest heartthrob.
The 30-year-old former 'X Factor' winner will make his first appearance on Weatherfield's cobbled streets next week and Shayne, who is single since splitting from fiancee Faye McKeever 18 months ago, is excited about becoming eye-candy for fans.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It would be mint to play a heartthrob. I just love any type of challenge and roles because every day I'm learning, I'm watching, observing all the actors. That's the great thing about it.
"I'll have anything thrown at me. I'd like to give everything I possibly can and push myself as much as I can. I want to be thrown from pillar to post by women."
Shayne will play Aidan Connor, the cousin of Carla Connor (Alison King) and he is impressed by his on-screen relative.
He said: "Carla, she's hot. She's a strong woman and that's very attractive, to see a woman that's in control. Ali is lovely, and she's a very pretty girl."
And Shayne has high hopes to follow in the footsteps of former popstar Kym Marsh and carve out a lasting career on the soap.
He said: "What she has done is incredible. I think Kym's signed on again and this will be her tenth year. If I can have the same longevity that she has that would be great.
"Kym just said 'just enjoy it, relax and if you need a helping hand' and we gel really well."

Sam Faiers' boyfriend is moving in with her.
The 24-year-old reality star already spends a lot of time with Paul Knightley - who she has been dating for nine months - so the couple will take the next step with their relationship once she has completed renovations on her home.
Paul said: "My flat is in Woodford but we're with each other all the time."
Sam added to OK! magazine: "It's not like he officially lives with me, but he's always at mine and it's really comfortable. I'm just about to get an extension put on my house and once that's done he'll move in. In the future we'll buy a house together."
Though Sam and Paul wish they had met earlier, they also feel thankful they didn't get together while she was still on 'The Only Way is Essex' as it would have had a negative impact on their romance.
Sam said: "It wouldn't have worked if I'd met Paul when I was on 'TOWIE'. You can't have a relationship and be on that show - particularly if you are single and they want you to have an on-screen romance."
While they have only been together for nine months, the couple have already discussed marriage and children.
Sam said: "I can see marriage as a possibility. To be honest, we talk about kids more than we do marriage, but as a couple we want the whole package."

Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc's chat show has been axed.
ITV has cancelled 'Mel & Sue' after just one season due to disappointing figures although the 'Great British Bake Off' presenters are reportedly in talks with the channel about other projects.
A source told The Sun: "ITV was really keen for the show to work but it just wasn't to be.
"Bosses are still keen to do more with Mel and Sue in the future though."
An ITV spokeswoman said: "Mel and Sue are great talents and we hope to work with them on other projects in the future."
'Mel & Sue' featured a mix of celebrity interviews and cooking segments but only attracted about 750,000 viewers after it was launched in January, sometimes over one million less than its rivals 'Antiques Road Trip' and 'Escape To The Country'.
The first season ended in mid-February.
Meanwhile, Sue was tipped for the 'Top Gear' presenting job after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked and had to quit Twitter after trolls reacted badly.
At the time, Sue said that some of the threats she had received included one who "suggested they'd like to see [her] burn to death", while her timeline was also "full of blokes wishing [her] dead".
Chris Evans has since taken on the role of presenter.

Anne Robinson says older female TV presenters are always at risk of being replaced with someone younger and prettier.
The 70-year-old 'Watchdog' presenter has hit out at the difference between men and women on TV saying that female hosts are the victims of ageism.
She told Radio Times: "If Huw Edwards or Evan Davis had twin sisters they wouldn't be reading the news or hosting 'Newsnight'.
"I'm not saying they're ugly. It's just a fact, particularly in light entertainment, that it's about pretty girls in the front row."
However, Anne - who has been open about having a facelift and regular Botox treatments - insisted her looks never factored into getting hired and said she has remained on TV because she is clever and funny.
But the former 'Weakest Link' presenter did admit there is a pressure to be thin.
She said: "I never got hired because I had beautiful breasts. I got hired because I could write and be funny.
"The trick for women's longevity on television is that you've got to be clever, versatile, funny and thin. I'm working at it!
"I've always been clever at moving on. I've never been dragged out kicking and screaming."

Dennis Waterman says his late 'Minder' co-star George Cole was "the most loved man in the profession".
George, 90, passed away last week after a short illness and Dennis - who played Terry McCann, the long-suffering bodyguard of Cole's Arthur Daley in the ITV series - said fame never changed him.
Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', Dennis said: "He was a wonderful man, I mean it's easy to talk [about] him but it's what everybody would say, he was the most loved man in the profession I would imagine, you won't ever hear anybody say a bad word about George. He was a wonderful actor, he had a fantastic career and he stayed the nicest person you could meet."
Dennis admitted it didn't take very long for the pair to become fast friends and said they were inseparable during their time on the long-running show.
He said: "We met, we sparred a bit together, you know because we didn't know each other and we hadn't worked together and then within two or three days we realised how similarly we worked and we just took off. We shared dressing rooms, caravans, whatever, and we wouldn't go on the set individually we'd always go on together... We just made each other laugh a lot."
Dennis, 67, will give the eulogy at his friend's funeral on Thursday (13.08.15) and admitted to some nerves.
He explained: "I'm not sure how good I'll be. I can eulogise about him for weeks but I don't think they want that. It'll be horrible but a wonderful celebration I think."
