Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend is to be Godmother to his son.
The music mogul and his partner Lauren Silverman have asked singer Sinitta - who previously revealed she aborted the 'X Factor' boss' baby in the 1980s - to look after the spiritual welfare of six-week-old Eric.
Posting a photo of herself cradling the baby on twitter, she wrote: "
"Wanted you to be the first (well after my mom and children) to hear about my next, serious new role... Drum roll...
"At Mothers Day lunch with Mom, Magdalena, Zac, @JasonJGale @SimonCowell I was asked to be godmother to Baby Eric!!! X (sic)"
Sinitta - who chose Simon to be Godfather to her children Magdalena and Zac - has remained close to the 54-year-old star and previously admitted she felt "betrayed" when she found out he was to be a father.
She said in September: "I was completely and utterly stunned. I was in such a daze, to the point where I wondered if I was dreaming it.
"We knew we were all close friends but I didn't realize he and Lauren were falling in love and, when I found out, I will admit I was taking aback and did feel a sense of betrayal"

Sir Elton John and David Furnish are teaching their sons about the "diversity of families".
The couple raise Zachary, three, and Elijah, 16 months, together and their oldest son is now beginning to understand that households often have different parents so they are keen for them to celebrate the differences in family units.
David told People: "Our oldest is just starting to get his head around daddy and a papa, and not a mommy and a daddy, because he just started to go to pre-nursery school with other kids.
"He's learning about the mixture of different families. We read books to him that really celebrate the diversity of families in society today. We want to make sure that our boys realise that there are all different kinds of families and all families are great."
At the weekend, the couple - who entered into a civil partnership in 2005 - announced their intention to wed after same-sex marriage was made legal in the UK, and though they are planning an intimate ceremony in May, they would have tied the knot sooner if it weren't for the 'Rocket Man' singer's commitment to his Las Vegas residency.
David said: "Elton's on this side of the world for his [Las Vegas residency show], and we're not in the UK. Had we been in the UK., we would have done it this weekend, absolutely.
"We'll go to the registry again and we'll take the boys with us. Take along the one or two witnesses that we need and make it very small and intimate."
Elton added in an interview with Matt Lauer on 'Today': "We'll do it very quietly. But we will do it and it will be a joyous occasion and we will have our children."

Michael Jackson's ex-wife is undergoing tests to see if she has cancer.
Debbie Rowe -who was married to the late 'Thriller' star for just under three years until October 1999 and had children Prince, 17, and Paris, 15, with him - will undergo a biopsy today (31.03.14) after medical examinations over the last few months have shown "irregularities" with her lymph nodes, and though her doctors are said to be "convinced" she has lymphoma, the 55-year-old nurse is confident she will be given the all-clear.
According to website TMZ, she said: "I'm too healthy to have cancer."
Michael died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 and though Debbie is comfortable with undergoing a biopsy, she is "scared to death" of going under anaesthetic.
And she is said to have told doctors: "Propofol is out of the question."
In December, Debbie enjoyed a holiday with her son and daughter - who attempted suicide last June - in Hawaii, with their half-brother Blanket, 11, and their cousins Jermajesty and Jaafar Jackson also joining them on the festive break.
Debbie originally lost contact with her children after divorcing Michael in 1999, but has been getting closer to them over the last year, with the blessing of the Jackson family.

Rita Ora's mum was too busy taking 'selfies' on Mother's Day (30.03.14) to pay attention to her.
The 23-year-old star and her sister Elena bought their mother, Vera, a Spa package but joked she didn't spend much quality time with them because she was too busy updating her Instagram account.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1, she said: "We went to the Spa and she didn't pay any attention to me, she just was on Instagram like taking pictures of herself in the spa ... making selfies. Me and my sister were like, 'OK, great, we have this mother package and you're not even enjoying family time'.
"It came with lunch, massage [and a] facial, which by the way, I passed out [during], because I was really tired. I didn't even remember her giving me a facial or a massage.
"I don't even think she did anything. I just woke up and was really moisturised, I felt like, 'Did I just get conned because I passed out?"
Rita had posted a photograph of her mum on Instagram on Sunday, who was preoccupied on her mobile phone, along with the caption: "Spa day with mama and she's so interested she's on her phone....great. Hello??!!! (sic)"
Meanwhile, Nick also talked about seeing his mum on Mother's Day and revealed she asked if Rita was still dating Calvin Klein.
He said: "My mum has been spreading the rumour that you've been dating Calvin Klein and not Calvin Harris."
Rita, who has been with the DJ on/off for a year, laughed and replied: "Imagine Klein being a DJ, in boxers, throwing them about."

Lindsay Lohan has came "close" to relapsing.
The troubled actress - who has been to rehab six times - loves "nightlife" and going to clubs but admits it can be difficult to resist drugs and alcohol.
She said: "I do love the nightlife and hearing loud music and laughing and having fun.
"I'm sober, but it has come very close. And it's really scary."
On last night's (30.03.14) episode of 'Lindsay', her sober coach Michael Cormier decided it was time to move on and later implied he was unsure whether she had relapsed.
Asked if she is still sober, he said: "I don't know. I'm not going to discuss whether or not Lindsay is still sober. That is between Lindsay and Lindsay. I have no hard evidence that she's not."
Elsewhere in the episode, the 'Mean Girls' star spoke of her unhappiness with her management team and agent, claiming she has to find roles for herself.
Speaking to her life coach A.J. Johnson, she said: "I feel like they just don't care.
"They have their breadwinners and I'm not that to them and they're not willing to fight for me to be that and that's where I'm left feeling alone and insecure because I can't do it [all] on my own!
"Jason [Weinberg] kind of just left me in the dust. Unless I'm like Penelope Cruz, Jason doesn't care. But I can't be Penelope Cruz unless I have Jason behind me, fighting for me...
"Every day I'm not on a film set, I'm wasting my talent!"
Lindsay claimed she got her last two roles herself, adding: "I made the calls and I researched and all they do is take a percentage."

Johnny Depp has appeared to confirm his engagement.
The 50-year-old actor - laughed and showed off a diamond on his ring finger when quizzed as to whether he and girlfriend Amber Heard are planning to marry.
Asked if they are engaged, he lifted his hand to show the ring and said: "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle."
However, Johnny - who has children Lily-Rose, 14. and Jack, 11, with ex-partner Vanessa Paradis - will be leaving planning their nuptials to the 27-year-old actress.
Speaking in Beijing during a promotional tour for his new movie 'Transcendence', he said: "I think that I would be better at making women's shoes than I would be at wedding planning, I can't plan anything. I'm really bad at that stuff."
Johnny and Amber were first reported to be engaged in January, and it has been claimed the actor proposed to his 'Rum Diary' co-star just before Christmas.
A source said recently: "It happened on Christmas Eve (24.12.13). Amber really took her time to make up her mind
"She turned him down before ... before she said yes. So she waited and was thinking about it for a long time."

Miranda Kerr asks for a "critique" after sex.
The former Victoria's Secret model - who has three-year-old son Flynn with former husband Orlando Bloom - wants to "better herself" so always wants feedback on her lovemaking style.
She said: "I always ask for a critique on my performance. I always want to better myself in every way."
Now she is single, the Australian beauty hasn't ruled out "exploring" sex with a woman in the future.
She told the new issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "I appreciate both men and women. I want to explore. Never say never."
Miranda is embracing the single life and having "fun", but she isn't interested in one-night stands.
She said: "I'm dating. I'm loving it. Two happy parents are better than two unhappy parents. This is my time to explore and have some fun. I'm not looking to fall in love again quickly.
"I still get chatted up a lot. I've had some crazy, ridiculous proposals - stuff that you wouldn't even see in the movies. No blind dates, however, and I never google a man's name before I meet him.
"One-night stands aren't my thing. I made Orlando wait for six months until I even kissed him."
However, being single means Miranda is having less sex and says it has had an impact on her physique.
She explained: "One thing I've noticed is now that I'm having less sex my body isn't as toned. The more sex I have, the more defined my arms and stomach get. Orlando and I always had great chemistry."
And the 30-year-old star also confessed to having a "fetish" for a man's hands and feet and revealed the most daring place she has had sex.
She said: "I've had an orgasm in the air before. Alone. And together."

Lily Allen gets "confused" about her pubic hair.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer had no clue whether to shave or keep the hair around her bikini line when she was growing up because each boy she hoped to impress had different preferences.
Speaking at the Vogue Festival in London, Lily said: "Can we just talk about pubic hair? Being a teenager I was endlessly confused from one boyfriend to the next. They wanted completely different things (down there) One said no, another wanted her it jazzy. They probably didn't know what they liked really."
Lily - who has two children, Ethel, two, and 14-month-old Marnie, with her husband Sam Cooper - also defended Madonna's controversial decision to post a picture of her hairy armpits to Instagram last week, but admitted she won't be following suit.
She mused: "I don't have a problem with it but I shave mine otherwise I you'd get quite sweaty."
Meanwhile, Lily touched on Anna Wintour's controversial decision to feature Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the April issue of American Vogue magazine, insisting the decision will be good for sales figures.
She mused: "There is no time for irony, it is like 'what the f**k is going to sell?'. That is it. And I bet you it is the biggest selling cover they have had in five years."

Emma Watson says people find it hard to realise she is "just a girl".
The 23-year-old actress shot to fame playing Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' movie series and stunned fellow students into silence on her first day at Brown University in 2009.
She said: "On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned around to look at me. I had to say to myself, 'It's OK, you can do this'. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage.
"I have moments where I will walk into a bar and it will take me making a joke to put people at ease, to realise I am just a girl."
The 'Noah' star - who deferred her studies at Brown after 18 months before going on to study at Oxford University in the UK for a year, returning to the prestigious US establishment last year - admitted paparazzi photographers following her also made it difficult to "integrate" with her fellow students.
She told Sunday Times Style magazine: "After 'Harry Potter', all that mattered was university. I didn't even know if I wanted to be an actress...
"It wasn't always easy to break down barriers, as having men from the British press following me with cameras didn't help my mission to integrate."
Despite being in her 20s, the British beauty is "excited" about the "ageing process" because she thinks it will make her more "compelling".
She said: "I'm excited about the ageing process. I'm more interested in women who aren't perfect. They're more compelling."
