Qymira teases stage costume ‘secret’

Qymira has been “hiding” a secret under her stage costume.

The Hong Kong-born singer-and-actress is currently on the road as in the UK as special guest on Collabro’s cathedral tour and while she is having a great time on tour, she is struggling with the cold and wet British weather.

She told BANG Showbiz: “I’m really enjoying being on tour with Collabro – they’re so friendly and have been wonderful hosts.

“The cathedral tour is going really well, but it’s quite a change from the warm weather I’m used to. I’m literally wrapped up in thermals and a duvet right up until I go on stage.”

And not only is she bundled up off stage, Qymira has also taken steps to keep warm in her spectacular costume.

She laughed: “My stage costume is a stunning studded bodice – very on trend, à la Wuthering Heights – paired with a full crimson Carolina Herrera skirt, which I adore.

“The best part is I can hide three pairs of thermal leggings underneath, and the audience is none the wiser!”

Qymira has a busy 2026 ahead, with three instrumental albums in the pipeline, as well as the upcoming UK premiere of her movie Shadow Transit, in which she plays Celeste and also performs the main theme for the soundtrack, Shade Of My Shadow.

Qymira’s tour with Collabro is her second high-profile run of shows in the UK after previously touring with supergroup Boyzlife.

And the Melodrama hitmaker always promises fans a spectacular show.

Asked what her live shows are like, she said: “Electrifying. Emotional. Explosive. Visually stimulating.

“My main goal is to entertain and connect with the audience, for them to feel the gamut of emotions from my music and lyrics… and either relive their own experiences or be teleported to a fantasy reality for that moment, or even long after I have left the stage.”
