Demi Moore wants to "reinvent" herself and reignite her acting career.
The 'LOL' actress, 51, embraced a "reclusive lifestyle" after seeking treatment in rehab following her split from ex-husband Ashton Kutcher in 2011, amid rumours he cheated on her, but is eager to take on more roles and connect with her fans again.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Demi is loving her new reclusive lifestyle because she realises how overexposed she was when she was with Ashton. Now there's a real demand for her. She's learning that female fans really identify with her and hate the way Ashton behaved."
The 'The Joneses' star, who has daughters Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 20, with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, has reportedly embarked on a new diet and exercise regime ahead of her comeback and is planning to be very open about her personal struggles in recent years.
The insider said: "Demi is insisting on laying low ... [until] the fall. And she plans to re-emerge with a message. She is reinventing herself and that includes her look. Her new catchphrase is, 'Be honest- about everything!' It's a new approach her fans are sure to love!"
Demi has been linked to a number of men since splitting from Ashton, who is gearing up to welcome his first child with fiancée Mila Kunis later this year.

Solange Knowles' son has inspired her to be a "better person."
The singer, who recently admitted she feels "far older" than 27, has nine-year-old son Julez with her ex-husband, Daniel Smith, and has changed a lot since becoming a mother.
The 'Losing You' hitmaker told the May issue of Essence magazine: "Seeing that conviction and honesty with everything he does absolutely has made me a better person."
The star, who is Beyoncé's younger sister, added: "Motherhood is such an evolving journey. You really have to shape and mould your morals and values around that personality that has come into itself."
Solange, who is in a relationship with video director Alan Ferguson, previously said she doesn't want her son to follow in her footsteps and be a performer.
She said: "It's certainly not what I have in mind for him, I'm constantly trying to push him to work at the U.N., or be a diplomat. I try to convince him by explaining that he wouldn't have to wait in lines at the airport, and that he can park anywhere."
The singer is still on good terms with her ex-husband, whom she married when she was just 17 and divorced three years later.
She said: "We co-parent really well. I'm able to say, 'I need to finish this album, can you step up and take care of the boy?' "

Rachel Stevens has given birth to another baby girl.
The former S Club 7 singer, 35, and her husband Alex Bourne, who also have three-year-old daughter Amelie, welcomed their second child into the world on Tuesday (01.04.14).
Alex proudly announced the news on Twitter, writing: "Delighted to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous little girl! @MsRachelStevens and baby both really well. Amelie happy and 'cited (sic)"
The couple, who have yet to reveal their newborn baby girl's name, also released a statement saying: "We're so happy that baby has arrived safely. Within minutes of meeting her we were totally smitten. Amelie is happy and 'cited to have a little sister to play with and we can't wait to introduce her to the whole family."
Rachel first confirmed she was pregnant again in September, tweeting: "Alex and I are so happy to find out that we are pregnant again and can't wait to meet our new little member of the family early next year.
"Needless to say, we're all super excited, especially Amelie who is looking forward to meeting her new little brother or sister."
The brunette beauty, who married Alex in 2009, previously revealed they had found out the sex of their baby but kept it a secret until her arrival.

Kelly Osbourne has reportedly gained 19 pounds since splitting from her fiancé.
The 'Fashion Police' co-host is said to be following a strict new diet and exercise regime in a bid to slim down again, after putting on weight since her break-up from Matthew Mosshart in January.
A source told Now magazine that the 29-year-old star, who lost 70 lbs. after appearing on 'Dancing With the Stars' in 2009, is currently on a healthy "cleanse" and wants to get her pre break-up figure back.
Kelly dated the vegan chef for more than two years after meeting him at Kate Moss's wedding in 2011 and recently admitted she wants to stay single for a "very long time."
She said: "I plan on being single for a very, very long time. No, I don't think it's possible for someone to sweep me off my feet right now."
The star was also previously engaged to model Luke Worrall and isn't sure if she ever wants to get married.
She said: "I'm really enjoying my life ... I don't now if I will ever get married. I think my views on marriage are changing, as I get older - not out of heartache, it's just that the world is changing.
"But if I ever do get married, I'm never changing my last name."

The 'Two Faces of January' actress, who previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal and is currently in a relationship with Garrett Hedlund, admits she enjoys letting the men in her life take control sometimes.

Keira Knightley cheered on James Righton as his band kicked off their new tour.
The 29-year-old actress was spotted supporting her husband's group The Klaxons during their gig at the Hare and Hounds pub in Birmingham, England on Monday night (31.03.14).
A source told E! News: "It was the first time the band had played at the Hare and Hounds and Keira stayed for the night and was dancing the entire time, which I'm pretty sure is the sign of someone having a good time.
"I've heard from the small number of people who did manage to meet her on the night that she thoroughly lovely, sweet, polite and very unassuming."
The 'Anna Karenina' star managed to avoid being recognised by most of the band's fans.
The insider said: "She had arrived with the touring party and spent much of the afternoon and evening in the dressing room with the band until they went on stage.
"She then watched from the back of the venue with friends and family of the band and by all accounts remained unnoticed by the audience."
The 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' beauty and James, 30, got engaged in May 2012, after meeting through mutual pal Alexa Chung, and tied the knot in the south of France last July.

Kim Kardashian donated "loads of toys" to an orphanage in Thailand.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who is currently enjoying a holiday with her family, including nine-month-old daughter North West, in Phuket, took some time away from the beach to pay a special visit to the Home & Life children's home with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian, 29, and half-sisters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 16, Jenner.
A source told E! News they spent several hours playing with the local children after bringing "loads of toys and soccer balls and board games" to the facility.
Kris' estranged husband Bruce Jenner and his son Brody also joined them at the orphanage.
The insider added: "The kids loved it, they probably didn't have a clue who Kim Kardashian and her family are, but they loved the presents."
The family were spotted painting murals on the walls of the refuge before taking a tour of a local village.
The source said: "The girls were great with the kids. They were very motherly and attentive. Khloe played ball with some of them, too!"
The visit was filmed for the family's reality TV series.

Chris Evans credits gymnastics for helping him to get in shape for his new movie.
The 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star, who transformed him physique for the film, was forced to follow a very strict workout routine before shooting the blockbuster, as producers wanted him to look lean and muscular but realistic.
The 32-year-old star told Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show': "We tried to do a little bit more gymnastics. Balance beams."
He jokingly added: "I had a whole ribbon routine."
The hunky actor recently insisted he has no plans to quit acting in favour of directing, just weeks after admitting he was fed up of being in front of the camera.
He said: "By no means am I planning on retiring. It's kind of a silly statement. But I certainly am going to try to focus a bit more on directing at this point."
He added: "I said that I directed last year. I really responded to it. I really enjoyed it. I'd love to focus a little bit more on that."
Chris attempted to clarify comments he made in an interview last month, during which he said: "I've known for a while I wanted to direct. But [time] never really opens up. There's another movie to do, there's another acting job. It just got to a point where I was like, you know what - I have to do this.
"If I'm acting at all, it's going to be under Marvel contract, or I'm going to be directing. I can't see myself pursuing acting strictly outside of what I'm contractually obligated to do."

The brunette beauty announced her split from building contractor Shane before Christmas but a source previously revealed they separated last summer.
A spokesperson for the actress insisted at the time that their split was amicable and she planned to "focus on their children."
