Kate Winslet thinks being pregnant destroyed her brain cells.
The 'Titanic' actress - who has children Mia, 13 , and Joe, 10, from previous marriages and son Bear, three months, with husband Ned Rocknroll - admits she suffered a lot of memory lapses when expecting her youngest child, but is slowly reacquiring the knowledge she lost.
Kate said: "It's lovely actually having had the baby because now all my brain cells are coming back to me and I can remember things - like the films I once made!"
The 38-year-old beauty also admitted she hasn't had many sleepless nights since welcoming Bear into the world.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, she said: "The baby's wonderful, and actually at night he's a pretty good sleeper. He's not much of a day-time sleeper but he's very good at nights."
The 'Divergent' actress has already shed the pounds she gained during her pregnancy, but insisted she hasn't deliberately done anything to lose weight, attributing it to "Mother Nature".
She said: "She's been on my side this time."
And the British beauty slammed the constant stigma around women's post pregnancy bodies.
She said: "I think there's terrible pressure on women to lose baby weight. It's a really tricky subject actually because everyone's different.
"We shouldn't talk about it too much, it just adds to that whole debate."

Kendra Wilkinson's second pregnancy has been "brutal".
The former Playboy model - who already has four-year-old son Hank Jr. with husband Hank Baskett - is due to give birth to a baby girl in the coming weeks and she admits it is becoming a struggle to move around.
She said: "It's easier on the mind, harder on the body. It's been brutal. I think because little Hank stretched me out, I know that sounds pretty gross, but he stretched me out all the way! I think she got a chance to sit lower faster, so she's been on my pelvic bone all pregnancy.
"Like, I'm seriously done! It's over, like my life is over right now. I'm trying so hard not to be bedridden."
The 28-year-old beauty is particularly worried about her waters breaking and going into labour when she is out at an event.
She told E! News: "The weirdest thing is standing about to go on a red carpet and praying that this pee I'm peeing isn't my water breaking!
"I literally cross my legs hoping my water isn't breaking! It's pee, it's fine."
Kendra and Hank are doing their best to involve their son in the pregnancy.
She said: "Little Hank is super excited. We're trying to get him to feel like he has a role. I'm the mom, Hank's the dad and he's the protector. I want him to feel empowered through this and feel loved still."
And the couple have a shortlist of names for the new arrival, but won't choose one until they meet her.
Kendra said: "We have a good five [names] We have a top five. We're going to have to see her and name her."

Rob Kardashian is getting advice from Lamar Odom.
The reality star has distanced himself from his family in recent months and was noticeably absent from their holiday to Phuket, Thailand, but has reportedly decided to reach out to his former confidante, his sister Khloé Kardashian's estranged husband Lamar, in his time of need instead.
An insider told RadarOnline.com: "He has completely retreated from the family, and from his friends. But within the last few weeks, Rob has reconnected with Lamar.
"It was extremely hard for Rob when Lamar and Khloe split because first and foremost, he hated what it did to Khloé. The split also essentially had ended Rob and Lamar's relationship... they called each other brother, and meant it. There was a lot of love there."
Lamar is said to have asked Khloé's permission to rekindle his friendship with her brother and she refused to stand in their way.
The source added: "Lamar asked her if it was OK if he reached out to Rob, and of course, she said yes. No matter what happens with them in the future as a couple, Khloé wants her brother and Lamar to maintain their friendship."
The NBA star is determined to get his pal back on track as he is said to have been suffering from depression following his ugly split from Rita Ora in 2012 and has gained 50 pounds.
However, it seems camera-shy Rob has no interest in flying out to see Lamar in New York City.
The insider said: "Rob just isn't receptive to that. It has come to the point that he just hates going out because of the constant cameras always around. Lamar is planning to come to LA in the next month, and they will definitely hang out then."

Alex Turner can't help but write songs about women.
The Arctic Monkeys frontman, who previously dated model-and-presenter Alexa Chung, admits most of his band's tracks are about the ladies in his life but claims they are also inspired by loneliness.
Speaking in the May edition of Esquire magazine, he said: "I write about women, yes. I haven't really found a way round it yet.
"There's other things I eventually might get round to writing about. But for now ... in a sense they're about girls. But in a sense they're about loneliness. And longing."
Despite being known for his outspoken opinions on rock 'n' roll, he often hides behind his music and doesn't like being in the spotlight.
He explained: "I'm in a difficult position in the sense that, preposterous as this might sound, I don't like being the centre of attention.
"I don't even like opening my birthday presents in front of people, either."
However, the 28-year-old singer insists he can laugh at himself and feels it's what helps him cope with being in the music industry.
He said: "Certainly, in this day and age, a sense of humour [is important].
"Because it's pretty ridiculous. Not to name-drop but we bumped into [Led Zeppelin frontman] Robert Plant last night and he's hilarious. Just funny, straight away. These days I think if you start taking it too seriously, which I'm, like, sometimes definitely in danger of doing ... then it gets ugly."

Nicki Minaj struggled to remember the name of her 'The Other Woman' co-star Leslie Mann.
The 'Starships' hitmaker makes a cameo appearance in the film and, rather than remembering the actress' moniker, she opted to just call her 'lady' instead.
Leslie said: "Nicki Minaj never remembered my name. She just referred to me as 'lady'.
"She would just say, 'Come, lady'. And I was like, 'OK!' "
However, Leslie's co-star Kate Upton thought the singer's behaviour was due to her being "overwhelmed and intimidated by the actress and fellow 'The Other Woman' star Cameron Diaz.
Speaking as part of a Twitter takeover for Yahoo! Celebrity, Kate told Leslie and Cameron: "You know why she probably didn't remember your name? It's because she was really overwhelmed.
"You remember I had that big mark on my back and you had both your heads in my dress. Because I hurt myself and you were checking me out and she was like, 'I have a feeling they're going to do that to me next!' "
In the movie, Nicki plays Lydia, the assistant to Cameron's character Carly, who is left stunned when she learns her boyfriend is married to Leslie's character Kate, and also cheating on her with a third woman, Amber, played by Kate.

Tom Daley insists he is a "gay man now".
The Olympic diver - who is dating screenwriter Dustin Lance Black - revealed in December that he was bisexual, adding "of course I still fancy girls", but has now said he is no longer sexually attracted to women.
The 19-year-old star also explained why he chose to come out in a video posted on YouTube and admitted he was "terrified" of the reaction.
Speaking on 'Celebrity Juice', he said: "I came out on YouTube as I wanted to say what I wanted to say without anyone twisting it. I told my family before I told the world. I was terrified. I did not know what the reaction was going to be. "I did it on YouTube because people were constantly digging and asking questions."
And Tom - who said his relationship with Dustin is "all good" - also recalled an encounter with a woman who revealed he had given her son the confidence to tell her he is gay.
He said: "Two days later after I posted the video I was on my way to Houston to a training camp and this old lady comes up to me in a wheelchair, and wheels over and says, 'I would like to say thank you'.
"'You inspired my son to be able to tell me he was gay.' I was like, 'Oh wow' and then she goes, 'But he is married with three kids!' I was like, 'Have a nice flight... '"

Miley Cyrus broke down in tears on stage last night (02.04.14).
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was soundchecking for her 'Bangerz' concert in Boston in front of a group of fans and wept as she dedicated a rendition of Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' to her beloved dog Floyd, who passed away earlier this week.
She said: "I'm sure you guys already know, but the reason that I'm so upset is my dog, I shouldn't say he was my favourite but he was my favourite, he passed away.
"I just wanna do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together, it's his favourite song...so I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is 'Landslide'.
The 21-year-old star wept at other moments during the show, and she later shared a hug with 14-year-old sister Noah, who came to offer support.
Miley announced yesterday that the Alaskan Klee Kai had passed away.
The heartbroken star posted on Twitter: "Today is the 2nd worst day of my life. I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken. I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."
Miley - who owns several rescue dogs - is no stranger to coping with canine death after her Yorkshire terrier Lila was fatally attacked by her English bulldog Ziggy in December 2012.
The former 'Hannah Montana' singer even dedicated her performance at the 'VH1 Divas' concert to her departed mutt.
She wrote on Twitter at the time: "For everyone asking... I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken..... Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away."

Lady Gaga marched David Letterman's audience out of the studio to watch her perform last night (02.04.14).
The 'Born this Way' hitmaker stepped onto the stage at New York's Ed Sullivan Theater while the 'Late Show' host was interviewing Bill Murray to invite the 500-strong crowd to the nearby Roseland Ballroom, where she is playing a string of concerts until it closes for good next week.
She said: "Hey, what are you guys doing tonight, 'cause I have a show across the street and if you want to come over, I'll bring you. You can see the performance. I'll bring the audience...You can come over and I'll sing you some songs."
The trio of stars then herded the crowd over to the 95-year-old venue, with Bill shouting: "Today, come on, let's go, while we're young. Come on, while we're young. Please move it!"
Fans had known Gaga was scheduled to perform on the show, but had no idea what she had planned.

Though the 'Poker Face' singer previously appeared on the programme as a guest in 2011, last night was her first performance on the show.

Kirsten Dunst thinks women need a "knight in shining armour".
The 31-year-old actress - who is in a relationship with actor Garrett Hedlund - believes traditional gender roles are still important and there is something "valuable" in ladies staying at home to "nurture" their families.
She said: "I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued.
"We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking - it's a valuable thing my mum created.
"And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I'm sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That's why relationships work..."
The 'Melancholia' star began her career when she was just three years old and she was always worried that her acting would make her a target for bullies.
She admitted in an interview with the new issue of Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "None of [my friends] were actors, really. I actually underplayed myself [at school] because I didn't want to be a target. The fact that I was an actress made me nervous. I never wanted to be called names or anything. I was afraid of that."
While Kirsten loves her acting career, she is keen to try her hand at directing in the future.
She said: "I would love it. I love getting immersed in things and being busy all the time. It's just that I'm not going to write my own script. I don't think I can, I honestly don't.
"It would be easier to find a book to adapt. But, I'm not interested in directing right now. Maybe in three years. Who knows? Maybe I'll have children then. I probably will - one day - want to try it."
