Victoria Beckham obsessed with carrying crystals

Victoria Beckham carries crystals to bring her luck at her fashion shows.
The 40-year-old fashion designer has a number of superstitious rituals, including carrying Pink Quartz and Black Tourmaline precious stones while backstage at her catwalk shows.
Speaking to students at a Singapore art college, she said: "If I told you my backstage rituals, and was honest you would think I was a little weird. I carry my crystals with me which some people might think as odd but it works for us."
Victoria - who lives in London with her former soccer star husband David Beckham and their children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and two-year-old Harper - runs her self-named fashion brand out of New York and admits that while she's enjoying her success, she still worries about bad omens.
She said: "New York works and my team are happy there. We have a great set up there. We go to the same hotel. But I am quite superstitious. I don't walk underneath ladders. And if I see magpies I do the salute thing."
According to an urban myth, magpies are said to bring bad luck and fate believers say that in order to reverse it you must salute the birds and wish them a "good morning".
Meanwhile, crystals - which are also carried by stars including Madonna, Katy Perry and Angelina Jolie - are believed to have a number of healing properties, although there's been no scientific evidence to support the claim.

Selena Gomez feels career pressure

Selena Gomez feels "pressure" to behave in a certain way.
The 21-year-old singer-and-actress - who began her career when she was just 10 years old - admits she hasn't already been guided in the right way by her advisers.
She said: "[I'm] surrounded by people who are supposed to guide me -- and some of them have and others haven't. They pressure me, [saying] 'You gotta be sexy, you gotta be cute, you gotta be nice, you gotta be all these things."
The 'Spring Breakers' actress - who recently rekindled her romance with Justin Bieber - is "obsessed" with her work but admits there are some aspects of life in the public eye she dislikes, though she would never complain about her position.
In an interview with ABC News, she said: "I have people saying 'Have fun!' You know, like be able to just enjoy where I am.
"But I want to do a lot, though. I love what I do. I'm obsessed with what I do.
"I've always loved my life. I think there are certain parts of my life I wish I could have to myself and things I could do and grow and experience. But it would almost be just hypocritical of me if I complained about it. I think it's silly sometimes what happens, but I love what I do and I guess I gotta deal with it."

Kate Moss’ husband has separation anxiety

Kate Moss' husband gets "separation anxiety" when they're apart.
Jamie Hince, the supermodel's spouse of nearly three years, admits he hates being away from his wife when he has to go on tour with his rock band, The Kills, or when she's jetting around the globe on modelling assignments.
He is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "My wife is very much my sidekick, so I tend to get separation anxiety when I'm away from her."
Jamie, 45, says "missing my family" is the hardest part of touring with his band as he can't bear to be away from Kate, 40, her daughter Lila, 11, and their pet dog Archie for too long.
Speaking about the beloved pooch, he gushed: "He came from the deepest, wildest countryside in Italy. He was almost feral. I should've gotten a shelter dog, I know. But Archie was born, he was there and he needed me, so I adopted him."
The musician also opened up about a brutal hand injury that has threatened to end his guitar-playing.
Jamie - who had to completely retrain himself to play his prized instrument - explained: "It's taken its toll on my other fingers and I'm in pain quite a lot after shows. That's my least favourite part of touring now - the physical pain, and missing my family."

Louis Tomlinson wants club advice from Elton

Louis Tomlinson wants advice from Sir Elton John after buying his hometown soccer club Doncaster Rovers.
The One Direction hunk, who has gone into business with former chairman John Ryan, admits he needs to "mature a little bit" and is looking to speak to the 'Rocket Man' hitmaker, who became chairman of Watford FC in 1976, to get tips on his new role.
Louis told The Sun newspaper: "I had thought about seeking his advice - but how on earth do you get in touch with Elton John? I don't know. Hopefully this will send the message out!"
The 22-year-old star feels he'll need to start acting "dead serious" and stop being childish, after he was filmed apparently smoking a marijuana-laced cigarette in Peru with bandmate Zayn Malik recently.
He said: "I can't be a big kid any more or play pranks. I am absolutely going to be very involved in the club.
"I will be committing a lot of time to it. I've said that I want to be across absolutely everything.
"I'll definitely be going to board meetings, which is ridiculous, but I guess I am a businessman now."
The pop star asked fellow bandmates Zayn, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne for their blessing before buying the club and dreams of the League One side getting to the Premier League.
Louis recalled: "I said, 'Look boys, I'm going to do this. Do any of you have a problem with it?' All the boys were super-supportive - especially Niall, who is very, very excited.
"I know there will be a few eyebrows raised about me doing this. But hopefully the results go a certain way and we'll create a successful club."
The young star joked that his only experience is playing soccer video games but insists he's up for the challenge and thinks he has what it takes to help the club.
He said: "I still play Football Manager, actually - I absolutely love it! But it's like playing the game for real now."
Louis, who is worth around £14 million, and John, who is a plastic surgery tycoon, have launched a £2 million crowdfunder campaign to ask for help from fans and supporters and will also put their own money into supporting the side.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez attend bible class

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez attended a bible study class together on Wednesday.
The newly-reunited couple appeared "smitten" with one another at the session at City Church in Los Angeles, where they sat quietly with friends and listened to a sermon from Pastor Judah Smith.
A source told Us Weekly: "They were very lovey dovey and cute. They came and left together with a few friends
"They sat next to each other and listened to the sermon and were smitten with each other."
And it seems the sessions have been having a positive effect on Justin, following months of controversial antics.
The source added: "He looks so happy and at peace."
The 20-year-old singer won back the 'Come and Get It' star - who he has had an on/off romance with since 2010 - after vowing to curb his wild ways and even change his friendship group.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "He told her he can't live without her and that he's reformed his bad boy ways for good.
"He's ditched a few of the troublesome characters he's been hanging out with after advice from his management.
"And Selena thinks he's being genuine and given Justin another chance.
And as a symbol of his new direction, Justin presented Selena with a £6,000 Segway at his Beverly Hills home so they can have "good, clean fun" together.
The source added: "It was when she agreed to go to his house that he gave her the new, shiny Segway.
"He thought a Segway would be a chance to prove they can have good, clean fun together, and she thought that was a really sweet touch."

Brad Pitt will be George Clooney’s best man

Brad Pitt will be best man at George Clooney's wedding.
The 'Monuments Men' actor is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Amal Alamuddin later this year, and his aunt thinks his close friend and 'Burn After Reading' co-star will be by his side to offer support at the ceremony
Starla Clooney said: "I would say he'd choose Brad Pitt for his best man. They are good friends, I would think that's who he'd choose."
Starla - who works as a non-denominational minister - also confirmed her nephew is planning to marry the 36-year-old lawyer in Italy, with his parents Nick and Nina Clooney planning a trip to Europe to help with the preparations.
She told MailOnline: "I did hear Cincinnati, since it's not that far from Kentucky - that's one of the places they were considering - but apparently Cincinnati didn't win, it's not going to be the place.
"I do know that Nick and Nina are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff."
However, she offered her own services to preside over a local ceremony if the couple decide to have another wedding for those family members who can't travel.
She added: "Sure, I'd do it in a heartbeat!"
Meanwhile, several members of George's extended family were left disappointed after Amal missed his annual family reunion in Maysville, Kentucky, because she was working in London.
Ben Breslin, 55, a cousin of George's, who hosted a big party on Saturday night, said: "When he came in the front door, I was looking around asking 'Where is she?'
"He explained she's a lawyer and apparently she's across the sea somewhere working on a case, off saving the world. It was a shame because I would have liked to have met her."

Lupita Nyong’o: Awards season is like a ‘war zone’

Lupita Nyong'o has admitted the red carpet is like a "war zone".
The '12 Years A Slave' star insists people tried to warn her about the pressures of awards season, but she didn't truly understand what they meant until she'd already gone through the "intense experience".
Speaking in the US Vogue magazine, she said: "Everyone said, 'Brace yourself, Lupita! Keep a granola bar in that clutch of yours!'
"I didn't really understand what they meant, and it was only once it was past that I realised that my body had been holding on by a thread to get through this very intense experience. Nothing can prepare you for awards season.
"The red carpet feels like a war zone, except you cannot fly or fight; you just have to stand there and take it."
The 31-year-old actress also admits she was shocked by how quickly she became famous following her role in the historical drama film last year, which led to her winning an Oscar award.
She explained: "It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life. People who seemed so distant all of a sudden were right in front of me and recognising me - before I recognised them!
"For a split second I looked behind me to see who they were flashing at - and it was me! That was, I think, the beginning of the end of my anonymity."

Lamar Odom wants Khloé Kardashian back?

Lamar Odom reportedly wants Khloé Kardashian back.
The 29-year-old reality TV star filed for divorce from her husband in December following rumours he was addicted to cocaine and cheated on her multiple times, but the 34-year-old basketball star is allegedly refusing to sign the legal papers because he thinks there's still hope of saving their four-year marriage.
A source told Life & Style magazine: "Lamar wants Khloé back. He does not want to end the marriage, and that's why he won't sign the divorce papers. He just won't let her go. He's sober and back on track now -- and thinks he can get her back."
Meanwhile, Khloé has made it obvious she doesn't want to rekindle her romance with Lamar after she recently went public with her new boyfriend French Montana, 29.
However, the brunette beauty's family - especially her sister Kim Kardashian and stepfather Bruce Jenner - are reportedly concerned that the rapper could be using her to boost his celebrity profile.
A source said previously: "[They] are very skeptical of him. They think he's using Khloé for fame."
The couple have been virtually inseparable since April, aside from the week Khloé spent in Paris and Florence for Kim, 33, and Kanye West's wedding last month, and most recently took a trip to South Africa together for the MTV Africa Music Awards earlier this month.
