Jimmy Osmond: My kids don’t want to go into showbusiness

Jimmy Osmond says his kids aren't going to follow him into the family business and work in showbusiness.
The 51-year-old star has been singing with his brothers in The Osmonds since he was a child and he and his siblings still play around a hundred shows a year.
Jimmy has four children - Sophia, Zachary, Arthur, and Isabella - with his wife Michele but so far they have shown no interest in recording songs, and he thinks they're wise to avoid a career in music.
Jimmy - who is currently in the UK with The Osmonds as part of the 'Once In A Lifetime' tour - told BANG Showbiz: "Everyone is out of school so we've had a family holiday and come over together to the UK for these eight shows. My boys love doing that, they like coming round with us to see what their crazy old dad and uncles do. I don't think they really want to join the family business and I don't blame them! One boy wants to be a dentist.
"Showbusiness is different than what it was when we grew up. We grew up the old Hollywood way, we didn't know what we were doing we just kind of fell into all these amazing opportunities with all these cool mentors and you don't really see that happening in today's world and that's kind of sad. It would have been something that would have been fun to hand down to your kids but most entertainment kids really have a hard go anyway, always trying to live up to what their dad's done."
However, the 'Long Haired Lover from Liverpool' singer insists his kids do have the talent to be musicians if they want.
Jimmy did drag his tribe on stage during a Christmas concert and despite their initial reluctance he says they enjoyed the experience.
He explained: "My kids are all really musically talented. I did a show in Florida, a Christmas show, and I made the kids sing on stage and they hated me for it at first. Then at the end of the show they said, 'Dad we'd do that again.' I think it's in their blood but I think they're smart enough to look at doing something else for a living."
The Osmonds are joined on the 'Once In A Lifetime - The Final Tour' by David Essex, Les McKeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers and Showaddywaddy which kicks off at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester, Northern England, tonight (20.06.14).

Katie Price wants ‘crazy’ name for baby

Katie Price plans to name her baby something "crazy".
The mother-of-four - who has 10-month-old son Jett with her estranged husband Kieran Hayler, along with Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, from previous relationships - has yet to decide on a name for her unborn daughter, but intends to choose an unusual moniker so her new arrival has a name like her sister.
She announced on ITV chat show 'Loose Women': "I'm stuck for names because of Princess. I have to name the baby something probably as crazy as Princess."
Katie, 36, dumped Kieran after discovering he had been having an affair with her former best pal Jane Pountney for several months, as well as cheating on her with another woman, and says the trauma has resulted in her putting on weight.
She said: "I don't mind the public. I don't mind anyone else criticising me because nobody's perfect but when it's at home and your other half (it's not good).
"I'm insecure at the moment anyway because I did put on four stone but because my husband cheated on me. Now I carrying completely differently now than I did then."
The star believes Kieran - who she has hinted she is willing to give a second chance - may even have strayed because of her baby weight.
She added: "As you know you can't help what your body is going to do. I've been pregnant the whole time I've been with [Kieran]. He only knows me pregnant. It's my own fault. He doesn't actually know me small."

Mel B’s kids can’t sing

Mel B says her children can't sing "that well".
The former Spice Girls star insists it's unlikely her kids, Phoenix, 15, Angel Iris, seven, and Madison, two, will follow in her footsteps and have a career in music because they don't have the appropriate talent.
Speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, she said: "My kids can't sing. If they were really good at singing I wouldn't have a problem [with them having a music career] but my kids can't sing that well. They'll sing [Disney's] 'Frozen' but it's not like, 'Oh my God they're incredible' - they're just being kids.
"Right now my two-year-old Madison does everything my seven-year-old does - and my seven year old is into Barbies and princesses, while my 15 year old is into basketball."
The 39-year-old singer - who is currently a judge on 'The Voice' Australia, hosts a breakfast show for 2DayFM once a week and is the newest judge on 'The X Factor' UK - admits her children regularly accompany her when she's on set, but she's not worried about them being overexposed to the showbiz world.
She explained: "They come on set with me a lot, they love watching the show."
Although the feisty star has lots of jobs, Mel B insists she loves being so busy and always puts 100 percent into all her work.
She insisted: "I love to work, I love to do the jobs and I don't do anything unless I do it 100 per cent. I wouldn't do it if I didn't believe in it."

Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl get marriage licence

Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl reportedly picked up their marriage licence on Tuesday (17.06.14).
The couple are one step closer to tying the knot after being issued the necessary legal document at the Office of City Clerk Marriage Bureau in Manhattan, New York City, according to the New York Daily News newspaper.
The pair, who have been dating since 2008, got engaged on New Year's Eve (31.12.13) after Johannes, 27, popped the question to the fashion designer, 28, while they were holidaying on the Caribbean island of St. Bart's.
The German-born model took to his Instagram account shortly after the romantic proposal to announce the happy news.
He uploaded a video of his stunning wife-to-be walking through luscious foliage before she is seen twirling around a palm tree to reveal her engagement ring.
In a message accompanying the clip, he wrote: "Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said Y E S (sic)"
Johannes has previously told how he and Olivia have an "old romantic" approach to their relationship.
He said: "I think that I'm constantly learning, and we're both eager to learn about not only each other, but our interests.
"I think we have a very conservative, old romantic, private approach to our love."

Cheryl Cole’s malaria scare inspired tattoo

Cheryl Cole was inspired to get her rose tattoo on her butt after almost dying from malaria in 2010.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer made a "f**k it" list after contracting the deadly disease during a visit to Tanzania four years ago.
One of the things on her list was to get the huge flower tattoo inked across her back and backside so Cheryl took the plunge and got tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado to create the design last August.
Speaking on UK series 'The Graham Norton Show', which will air on BBC One tonight (20.06.14), she explained: "After I had malaria I created a 'f**k it list' because life's too short and the tattoo was on the list."
When asked about how much the inking cost, she added: "He's an exceptional artist and he was worth it ... It was in the thousands, probably the cost of a small car."
The 30-year-old pop star - who has returned to 'The X Factor' this year - sat for three eight-hour sessions to get the detailed flower etched onto her skin, but recently admitted the pain was worth it because she's so happy with the design.
She said previously: "I have three tattoos, this one, one on the back of my neck and the rose. The guy that did it is a proper artist, he does oil paintings, he's unbelievably talented.
"It took about three 7 to 8-hour sessions. It was fine, I didn't get it all done in the one go and he's really amazing at what he does so it wasn't too bad."

Pharrell and Daniel Radcliffe lead Walk of Fame for 2015

Pharrell Williams, Daniel Radcliffe and Melissa McCarthey will get stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
The Walk of Fame Selection Committee has that announced 30 stars of stage, screen and music will be honoured with their very own stars along Los Angeles' Hollywood Boulevard in 2015, including the 'Happy' hitmaker and 'Harry Potter' star.
The selection committee's chair Maureen Waltz said in a statement: "We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year."
The motion picture category of the Walk of Fame will welcome new inductees such as Jennifer Garner, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Christoph Waltz and 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies director Peter Jackson.
The TV wing will honour 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane, 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara, 'The Big Bang Theory' funnyman Jim Parsons and 'The Good Wife' actress Julianna Margulies.
'The Simpsons' producer James L. Brooks, talk show host Kelly Ripa and comedienne Amy Poehler will join them.
Meanwhile, Pharrell will have plenty of company in the musical section of the Walk of Fame as fellow newcomers include producer Dr. Luke - who is a frequent collaborator of Kesha and Katy Perry - rapper Pitbull, and funk group Kool and the Gang.
Kristin Chenoweth leads the stage inductees for her stellar work in musical theatre, including a leading role in 'Wicked'.

Simon Cowell’s horse flops

Simon Cowell's horse came last in its first race.
The music mogul and 'Britain's Got Talent' presenters Ant and Dec saw their filly compete for the first time on Wednesday (18.06.14) in the SIS Live Maiden Stakes in Ripon, North Yorkshire, but were left unimpressed by its performance.
Simon tweeted: "The horse I bought with Ant and Dec 'It's a yes from me' had his first race last night. He came 5th. Out of five. Oops.(sic)"
The race was won by the favourite, Dutch Breeze.
It was previously revealed that Simon - who was rumoured to want to name his four-month-old son after himself before settling on Eric in honour of his father - wanted the horse to be his namesake until his co-owners convinced him otherwise.
Dec - whose real name is Declan Donnelly - previously said: ''We had to name it because it wasn't named for racing, so we had a chat with Simon.
''His first suggestion was, 'I think we should call him Simon'.''
They eventually settled on 'It's A Yes From Me', a reference to the judges' comments on Simon's TV talent shows

Kanye West slams Barack Obama

Kanye West has slammed US President Barack Obama.
The 'Bound 2' rapper hit out at the Commander-in-Chief, insisting he can't do anything to "effect change" without "money" - though he then went on to proclaim "genius" to be "extremely cheap".
Asked about the president in an interview with Power106FM, he ranted: "You can't effect change from inside the White House like that ...You gotta have the money.
"Good ideas usually aren't connected to money as much ...Creativity and extreme genius are extremely cheap."
Kanye - who has 12-month-old daughter North with wife Kim Kardashian - then went on to warn his critics not to slam him as he is on a "mission from God".
He said: "Don't worry about how I'm saying what I'm saying. Look at what I'm saying and how I feel my intent is.
"You do not want to go against the power. I'm working on one mission, and that's a mission from God.
"I'm gonna make it very clear exactly what I'm here to do. I'm here to help. I'm going to apply all the blessings I've got.
"We're moving to the future. [And] I'm gonna be the anchor."
Just last November, Kanye vowed never to mention the president again as he felt the politician - who has criticised the rapper on a number of occasions - was using his name to be "down" with young people.
He said: ''I just think that we're pop icons, and the president likes to use that type of thing just to be down.
''People were fine with me being everyone's punching bag for about five years - 'This is the person we love to hate, so if you want to distract people from everything that's going on... just say you hate Kanye and there's going be 30 other people who say they hate Kanye.'
''I'm not going to mention him anymore, I'm past that, that's out my thoughts. That's lowering my priority of thinking at this point.''
Obama previously spoke out about the 'New Slaves' hitmaker to urge young people not to look to the wealth of the rapper and his now-wife as an example of success, and branded him a ''jackass'' after he interrupted Taylor Swift's 2009 MTV Music Awards acceptance speech.

Cindy Crawford’s daughter loves Harry Styles

Cindy Crawford's daughter has a crush on Harry Styles.
The 48-year-old supermodel's eldest child Kaia, 12, made her modelling debut for Versace two years ago and though the American beauty - who also has 14-year-old son Presley with husband Rande Gerber - will help her daughter "navigate" the fashion industry if she decides to follow in her mother's career path, she says the youngster is currently more interested in other things.
She said: "[Versace] was a one-off thing. She had fun. She's 12. We'll see what happens. I can at least help her navigate it. She's more interested in singing and dancing. Right now she's interested in Harry Styles."
While Cindy is comfortable with getting older, she admits she envies her daughter's legs.
She told USA Today newspaper: "I look at my 12-year-old daughter. She has my legs. I told her that I want my legs back."
Meanwhile, Cindy heaped praise on her close friend George Clooney's fiancee Amal Alamuddin, describing her as "lovely" but insisted that, despite reports they will wed in Italy in September, no details have been finalised yet.
Asked whether she could reveal the date and location of the wedding, she said: "I actually don't know yet."
